Twenty-nine-year-old sales rep Dan is unlucky with love, but lucky with sex since he got cut and made up for lost time growing up as a skinny gay kid who got pushed around. All-American, Texan stud Bryce Landon is on Dan's A-list of hook-up buddies, but the guy's vibe is different when they get together at MDM-Con in Vegas this year. Does Bryce want something more?

Dan can't do that. He's been burned by closeted, married guys before. While Dan sidesteps Bryce at the convention, he meets a smoking hot, local Daddy-type named Garth. Now he's caught between two guys who'd like to tame his wild ways. It's not a bad place to be, but can he give love a try with a dude who's got drama written all over him or take a chance with an older man who buried his boyfriend of ten years?

Filthy erotica (in the good way) with a side of Daddy!Kink. Thanks for the loan of this one, Trio.

It's probably not going to appeal to most of my GR friends because it definitely has a male POV with lots of dirty talk, smells, tastes and raunchy, non-monogamous sex. It does have some romantic elements (which comes in at about 50% and totally surprised me) but it's not MM Romance, per se.

And honestly, while I appreciated Dan's character growth and self-actualization, and completely understand the reasons why he didn't choose to be with who I would have chosen, I still felt a little disappointed. So much uncertainty comes with that decision, and it was too reminiscent of his past relationship for my peace of mind. To me, Once Bitten Twice Shy.

That said, I really hope Romeo writes a story for our rejected hero. I'd totally read that!

Fabulous story. It was everything and more!

It started with a filthy-mouthed, dirty scene between Dan and his straight and married hookup Bryce. They meet up in Vegas at a congress they both visit. They happened to see each other just about two times a year. Dan as the vicious dominant and Bryce his little filthy submissive.
Bryce and Dan are passionate about their scenes. Enjoying each other tremendously. Afterward, they go their own way, this goes on already for over a few years.

This time it’s different. Bryce wants to see him outside their regular time. Dan is hesitant and wants to resist. Even though he loves to spend more time with Bryce. His head does a crazy thing. He avoids Bryce and heads over to a pub.
There he meets Garth an older very easy going guy. When they head over to Garth’s house the Daddy side of Garth shows. Dan is absolutely astonished. He is a top himself.
Dan is in a split. Garth versus Bryce versus Garth versus Bryce.

Oh gosh, this was such an immensely captivating, sexy, heartwarming story.
My heart had overtime. I laughed, grinned and was emotionally involved with these men.
Dan personality is splendidly developed. The progress of changing his beliefs and feelings was wonderful to watch. All his reflections are real and honest, I adored this man.
Both Garth and Bryce are likable guys, totally different but both adorable.
The sexuality in this story was one of great deliciousness. The scenes were enchanting.
Through Dan his eyes and mind we are the witness of the process getting rid of superfluous personal baggage.
Stunningly written story, the writing style was immensely pleasant to read, it had a very uplifting view on life.
I love me a delicious erotic journey with a great atmosphere and depth. ALL the stars

Dan is a salesman at a convention in Vegas. Each year he meets Bryce—a closeted, married Texan—during this convention. It’s hot and kinky between them but nothing more. Until this year, when Bryce tries to change their relationship but Dan meets someone in Vegas, someone who maybe can offer him more than Bryce.
For an intense, hot week in Vegas, Dan will have to think about his future and what he really wants in his life.

Vegas by Romeo Preminger is my first book by this author. I was curious to discover his universe and his style. I was surprised but not disappointed.

Dan is a 29 year-old man, who knows what he doesn’t want in a relationship…being hurt. He had been hurt in his past and refuses to let it happen again, even if he has to miss the real opportunity to be happy with a loving partner. So far, he thinks he’s happy like that until he meets Garth. Then he realizes that maybe he was missing out on a real relationship. I liked Dan, he knows what he wants, and he’s confident. I loved how he was ready to take a bet on Garth, while being open to trying new things and didn’t hesitate to open himself a little bit. Most of all, I loved that he takes the time to think about what he really wants when he realizes that he isn’t really as happy as he thinks.

The story was from Dan’s POV. It was hot, well written and dynamics. The plot was focused on Dan and his relationships with Garth and Bryce. It was super-hot and super kinky…I adored it.
The end surprised me, a lot. The entire book, the author hints at a direction, and suddenly, a twist happens that I didn’t see coming. It was very sudden. I can’t say I disliked it or not, just that It really surprised me.

I will read the next book from this author because I liked his style

Dan is attending a convention and hooks up with his regular married guy, Bryce. But Bryce seems to want more than an occasional hook up, and Dan doesn't let anyone close. To that end, he blows off Bryce and his co-workers and heads out to a bar. There he meets Garth, and something about the man makes Dan sit up and take notice. Garth provides something for Dan that helps him move on from his childhood, and from the disastrous affair (with another married, closeted man) that made him guard his heart.
Dan felt like a character in stasis, keeping everyone at a distance and denying part of himself because he was compensating for his high school years. Bryce was...well, he and Dan were cheaters, although I understand how hard it can be to be yourself when you are in a situation where you will be punished, either by your family, your job, or your state. Garth was a big ol' teddy bear outside of the bedroom, and he opened himself up to the chance of love rather bravely, I thought. Who Dan choses in the end is probably not who I would have chosen if it were me, although I understand why he did it. The characters felt real, and were flawed in real ways, so that I felt as though I understood each and every one, even if I didn't necessarily agree with all of their choices. Told in first person present tense. Note: the editing was shaky at the beginning, ("...his hips quaver..." and "...mugs an impartial frown..."), but smoothed out so that I didn't notice anything by the middle of the book.

Vegas, by Romeo Preminger, brings us face to face with three broken men with a focus on Dan in particular. Between them, these men are looking for love, to move on from past heartbreak and loss, and a desire for a life that is free from self-imposed shackles.

Dan returns to Vegas to attend an annual medical supply convention. He is palpably excited to hook-up with Bryce Landon once again. This married “straight” and sexy hunk-of-Texas-man-beef likes to role-play and Dan is down with that. In one scene, Dan and Bryce externalize their intense and all-consuming emotions as Dan humiliates Bryce while he adamantly protests that he is not gay. This powerful scene is the polar opposite to the reality for these men.

Dan senses something different about Bryce this year. Ignoring, even dismissing, recent key indicators from Bryce, Dan is shocked to realize that Bryce may want more. Nope, Dan is not going there again. Not another married man, the memories are too painful. Avoiding Bryce, Dan runs into the arms of daddy Garth, a recent widower.

The time Dan and Garth spend together is consuming, passionate and scorching. Maybe there is a future for them after the convention is over? Wait…. Could this be purely physical attraction and lust? Is it an awakening of sorts? Do they both truly want this? Maybe their interactions have simply been the catalyst forcing them to end their stint of suspended animation.

The struggles within the pages of ‘Vegas’ are real. The past and its teachings are powerful persuasion. One emotional entanglement after another creates chaos and uncertainty.

Dan’s withdrawal confuses Bryce. But Dan discovers, those missed signs/indicators were important. Bryce suddenly knows what he wants and is available to pursue his desires breaking free of the shackles holding him back. Fear is a powerful motivator and Dan may have run away from something special. The gentle and compassionate Texan may be worth the risk if Dan can find a way to trust Bryce… and himself.

The struggles within the pages of Vegas are real. The past and its teachings are powerful persuasion. One emotional entanglement after another creates chaos and uncertainty. The right combination of souls exists. But…. Is it Dan and Bryce? Is it Dan and Garth? Or, is it possibly Dan, Bryce, and Garth? The answer reveals itself with absolute clarity and a resounding, “That’s It” as Romeo Preminger expertly brings all the pieces together. Dan, Bryce, and Garth all wind up as winners, stronger for their time spent in Vegas.

I’ll be honest: I didn’t like this book at first. I thought it was a bit crude and sad but those feelings dissipated after the first chapter. I thought that Dan was the most self-centered jerk for the way he was treating Bryce. But as you read, you gaininsight into Dan’spast and what makes him the way that he is. Once you see this, you begin to realize that he’s not a jerk at all he’s just been hurt and his behavior is a way for him to protect his heart.

This is the new to me author but I must say that I am really digging his writing style. There are no fancy, flowery words to describe the situations that these characters find themselves in it’s cut and dry; straight to the point. The dialogue, the sex scenes, everything is written with a bit of… Coarseness? Brashness? I can’t seem to find the correct word to describe this direct style but I will say that it is high key refreshing to read. Yes, there is a time for romance and flowers, whining and dining, but there is a time where those things aren’t necessarily what is wanted or what is even needed. If you’re looking for a story with longing romance, this ain’t it. This is a bit on the smutty side. But it’s well written, sophisticated smut. The BEST kind.

Any misgivings that I had about this book were gone by the end of the first chapter and I was captivated and intrigued by the story that this writer spun. Look, this isn’t your typical man meets man, man falls in love, flowers hearts and dinner type of romance. There is no riding off into the sunset to live happily ever after And that is quite alright because not everyone’s love story involves that. This story involves the situations that they have now, and they are making the best of what they have now.

But at the end I was very, very pleased with what I read and I definitely recommend you read this book. The writing style was cool, crisp and direct;eventhe sex scenes. The way the book flowed you definitely didn’t get any pretty packaging in terms of how the story was told with this book andyou know what?I liked that. I liked that a lot.

If you are looking for some hot MM/Daddy Kink/ erotica...this is definitely the book for you. I'm not generally a fan of Daddy Kink in MM or hetero genres but this book was definitely steamy as heck and was very well written. I could actually hear the drawl from Bryce and the gruff voice of Garth by description alone. (I DID have a hard time picturing Garth...because of that other famous Garth...kinda gave me the shivers imagining him lol). All in all, a great, short erotica with a few lessons to be learned.

Falls Just Short

This one starts off with a bang, continues with a lot of smoke and some fire, and then concludes with a lay-down-your-arms and come into my arms ending.

Dan is a complex and somewhat unlucky figure from Minnesota who is trying to avoid being hurt again and therefore is not interested in anything but hook-ups and his regular Las Vegas foray with that hot Texan cowboy type Bryce. Of course, Bryce is married with kids and even though he needs to maintain a shield back home he is totally unguarded with Dan in Vegas.

Then young daddy type Garth walks into a bar and into Dan's aroms for a two-day fling that has both of them twisted but not as twisted as Bryce who can't understand why he has seemingly been abandoned by Dan during their annual tour-de-force.

Get it?

Well, I would like to fill you in on the denouement but you will have to be surprised for yourself. My only real objection is that there may not be a sequel to a tale which held my attention but also left me wanting more.

Excellent Read!

Very good story based out of Las Vegas. Trade show plus cute guys make for a really fun read. Each page was solid and kept my attention.

Very much looking forward to what else this author has in store. "Vegas" and "Thiago" are both well worth the read.

Thank you!
