Forbidden Facts: Government Deceit & Suppression About Brain Damage from Childhood Vaccines

Rate this book
Have Government agencies and big corporations ever created and promoted outright lies and cover-ups?

Of course they have. When they do it together, that is the definition of conspiracy.

Internationally recognized criminologist and bestselling author of The Gift of Fear, Gavin de Becker, investigates how the Government ‘debunks’ inconvenient and unwanted truths. This story of true crime includes bogus research, bribes, compromised experts, paid conspirators, destruction of evidence, and massive publicity campaigns to discredit people and truths that don’t fit official wishes.

Readers are provided real-time access to original source material that clearly details how Government agencies and Big Pharma have routinely conspired to deceive the public on matters of profound importance.

Must Read for everyone

This is an amazing read exposing the corruption and deceitful actions of our government and healthcare system which is captured by Big Pharma. Once you read the first chapter you cannot STOP. It is a crash course that bundles an unbelievable amount of knowledge and information. The author presents facts and provides easy links to articles and information to expose more truths that have been suppressed from citizens. I encourage you to read through the entire text - you will be shocked - then go back and dig down the rabbit holes he provides. Use your critical thinking skills as you digest the content - yes, you will experience some necessary anger. Share this knowledge with others!!

Essentially every statistic I fact checked (using his QR codes) was either completely absent from the reference, or inaccurate enough to label it misleading.

After finding so many inaccuracy’s I canny trust this book’s statistics

The one thing that's sticks our for me in this book is 'research '. Without unbiased research, truths like this book would not come to light. Written in a tongue in cheek style does not detract from the information. Highly recommend reading....

The author has no qualifications to speak on the topic of medical science and used Wikipedia and Chat GPT as sources. The author is not credible and the information in this book was largely deceitful, leaving out certain information deliberately to sway readers and play on the fear of parents. He claims not to be anti-vax, but exhibits clear biases.

RICO and Treason

Everything you need to know for RICO prosecution against big Pharma and treason against Fauci and the CDC executives.
It is time to put an end to the conflicts of interest in the medical establishment.
This book proves the conspiracy. It is not a theory, it is facts.

Must-read for parents... and any who uses pharmaceuticals

Every parent who is considering vaccination for their children should read this book. It's easy reading and often amusing, despite the seriousness of the subject matter. It's loaded with links to source material if you care to dive deeper.
If you're not a parent, I still recommend it because it reveals the immense corruption within the pharmaceutical industry and the government agencies that are supposed to regulate it.

Wow. Such a powerful presentation of vital, eye-opening information in a concise, humorous, and rigorously fact-based way. A phenomenal contribution to this growing body of literature writing to reveal the nature, scope, and depth of the deceipt and corruption relating to pharmaceuticals, specifically vaccines.

Challenging the pro-vax biases; why do you believe they are all good?

Excellent read for anyone with the courage to dig into why they may be staunch vax supporters. Most parrot media lines, their doctors lines & safety stats. With zero fact checking. It’s shocking how much fraud went into the messaging.

Irrefutable Evidence

If all parents read this book, childhood vaccination would disappear, and that would be a good thing. Amish kids don't get jabbed, and they don't suffer from autism and many other modern diseases that were unknown to past generations.
The author brings all the relevant facts to the table and asks the reader to be a member of the jury. As a member of that jury, I say 'Guilty!' Nevertheless, he is gentle towards those who have previously been misled into being vaxxed and vaccinating their children. Like a shepherd, he is caring toward the sheep and fierce towards the wolves of Big Pharma, Regulatory agencies, Media, politicians and all their enablers. Great book. Powerful author. If you're not afraid of having your views challenged, read it.

Wow. An eye opener

Wow. A real eye opener on the corruption in the pharmaceutical industry and governments at the expense of our health. The damage has already been done around the world. Let's trust that we ask the right questions on ingredients in vaccines and their possible side effects. We need to save our children from further harm. A must read for parents.

A MUST READ FOR EVERY PARENT

This book is concisely written. Easy to follow with links to support every fact printed. Reading the leaked IOM closed door discussion on whether autism can be caused by the MMR vaccine blew my mind. How irresponsible and unconscionable all those so called doctors are. Thank god someone had the decency to share this with the public.

Other reviews recount how government and the media lie to you. All the time. The fact has been so widely acknowledged since Covid that the blame is on you if you are so naïve as to believe them. Edward Dutton has written in Woke Eugenics that the left’s lack of skepticism will eliminate them from the gene pool over a few generations. The urge I have to wake people up to these facts is becoming more and more slight. If people don’t care about me, and won’t look after themselves, should it really be my concern?

Government lying is the central theme of Forbidden Facts. They are experienced. They have their own organizations to handle lying. Author Gavin de Becker goes into great deal as to how the Institute of Medicine lies on their behalf.

The IOM only sounds governmental. It is a private organization with a very well-paid staff. Per Becker, as well as defending childhood vaccines, government and the private sector have used them to deflect criticism and legal liability with regard to:
• Death from squaline – in shots given to soldiers in the Gulf War
• Pit burns cause cancer (Admiral Zumwalt’s son died of it)
• Agent Orange caused cancer in Vietnam vets
• SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) correlates with vaccination
• Pyridostigmine bromide (PB), force on soldiers, causes cancer.
• Silicone breast implants cause cancer
• Talcum in baby powder causes cancer

IOM holds itself out to be a scientific investigative body. They never, however, get their hands dirty in laboratories. They spend their time ginning up spin. De Becker writes:
A pattern emerges: IOM is about messaging, not measurement or monitoring or microscopy or method. IOM helps the Government with crisis management, not science. When entrenched government programs and products are challenged, or when the truth would be politically inconvenient or too expensive, the Government (and big companies) have often hired IOM to debunk the problem away. No surprise in any of that.

What is surprising, however, is the extent to which these debunking scams have been effective, and the extent to which so many citizens and media companies are willing to parrot what authorities tell them. Once a corporate PR person or government official utters that magic word Debunked, no additional scrutiny is needed — or allowed. After that word is invoked, anyone curious or skeptical enough to keep asking questions is deemed stupid, crazy, a conspiracist — or all three. With the curious and skeptical people neutralized, with debate prohibited, the truth is harder to find. And the stakes of finding the truth can be life or death, as public health officials and the medical establishment remind parents so frequently: You don’t want your child to get any of those deadly diseases that you could have prevented with vaccination.

While the whole book is one long indictment, the centerpiece is an unauthorized, unwanted transcript of a meeting held to discuss childhood vaccines:

As we enter the "CLOSED SESSION" on January 12, 2001, no scientific or medical expertise is needed to understand the two preambles recited by Study Director Kathleen Stratton. First was her optimistic pronouncement that "closed session transcripts will never be shared with anybody outside the committee and the staff." While that turned out to be wrong, her second pronouncement was dead-on accurate:

"The point of no return, the line we will not cross in public policy is 'Pull the vaccine, Change the schedule.' We wouldn't say 'Compensate the injured!' We wouldn't say 'Pull the vaccine.' We wouldn't say 'Stop the program."

The Chair of the committee, Dr. Marie McCormick, further cemented the conclusion that the co-opted committee had already committed to reach before they even started:

"[CDC] wants us to declare, well, these things are pretty safe on a population basis."

"We are not ever going to come down that [autism] is a true side effect."

So that's that then. No matter what they might have learned over many months to come, even that some childhood vaccines are dangerous to some children, they had drawn the line they would not cross. No vaccines would be pulled no matter what, no programs would be stopped no matter what, and no schedule of childhood vaccines would be changed — no matter what. With the ending embedded in the beginning, they marched into their real work: how to artfully say what they had to say, while artfully avoiding what they must not say.

This is a short review. Anybody who buys it will already be convinced that the government is lying. The book does a masterful job of presenting the case powerfully and succinctly. However, as of 2025, those who do not yet believe will not be convinced.

The Children’s Health Defense, Secretary Kennedy and the Medical Freedom Movement have forced this topic into public discussion. Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying of Dark Horse, whose June 2021 episode introduced Robert Malone and Steve Kirsch to a wider audience, posted this very useful summary of Sen. Ron Johnson’s hearings on childhood vaccine safety on September 10, 2025. It includes testimony by industry expert Dr. Jake Scott, with withering contradictory statements by Toby Rogers and Atty. Aaron Siri and a very astute summation by the Senator himself.

That’s a brief book review, sure not to have changed any minds.

"Forbidden Facts: Government Deceit & Suppression About Brain Damage from Childhood Vaccines," by renowned criminologist and risk-assessment expert Gavin de Becker is a gripping piece of work, A bit off the usually trodden path of what I tend to read. The book applies his investigative lens to the complex and often contentious world of vaccine safety. Known primarily for his classic The Gift of Fear, de Becker shifts focus from individual predators to institutional betrayal, arguing that government agencies and pharmaceutical companies have collaborated to suppress evidence of vaccine-related neurological harm.

The book operates as a "true crime" exposé. De Becker’s central thesis is that the process of "debunking" has been weaponized to silence inconvenient truths. He meticulously documents instances of:

Destruction of Evidence: Allegations of data being altered or discarded to maintain official narratives.

Institutional Collusion: The "revolving door" between regulatory bodies and Big Pharma.

Discrediting Dissent: The systematic marginalization of doctors and researchers who report adverse reactions.

What sets this work apart is de Becker’s focus on the psychology of gaslighting. He provides readers with original source material, encouraging them to bypass "expert" interpretation and look at the raw data themselves. His tone is characteristically calm but sardonically sharp, challenging the "science is settled" mantra by highlighting the financial and political incentives that drive it.

De Becker draws parallels between the current vaccine debate and past public health scandals to show a pattern of behavior in government and industry:

The Agent Orange Cover-up: He cites the decades-long denial of the health impacts of Dioxin exposure on Vietnam veterans.

The Baby Powder / Talcum Scandal: De Becker references the long-standing knowledge of asbestos contamination in talcum powder.

The "Revolving Door" at the CDC/FDA: He identifies specific instances where high-ranking officials at regulatory agencies left their government posts to take lucrative executive positions at the very pharmaceutical companies they previously oversaw.

What I found especially interesting was de Becker's use of a QR code system throughout the book, which allows readers to verify his arguments in real-time.

While critics may label the book as provocative or controversial, de Becker frames it as an exercise in informed consent. It is a dense, rigorously referenced roadmap for those skeptical of official narratives. Whether you agree with his conclusions or not, Forbidden Facts serves as a powerful reminder that in the face of institutional power, curiosity and intuition remain a parent's most vital tools.

This is one of those books that kind of freaks you out a bit and further ruins your trust in companies, science establishments, and the medical institutions that you *think* should be working in your best interest. Of course, if you've read books like "No More Tears" about Johnson and Johnson or "Bottle of Lies" about generic drug manufacturing, this will not be a shocking book at all.

The purpose of this book according to the author is to lay out information that we as patients do not ask or even consider when it comes to our vaccines and medications, and to show where we are being misled (or lied to) so that we can make the best decisions about what we put in our bodies (or the bodies of our children). Many blindly believe "The Science" has settled everything, but who exactly is The Science and what was settled and when? This book follows the money, the conflicts of interest, the deceit, and shares with readers information that SHOULD be shared with us but rarely is. He includes links to publications and study after study to back up his information so this book will take you a bit of time if you read them all.

He says in the beginning of the book that it is neither a pro-vaccination or anti-vaccination book, but by the end I felt it maybe leaned a little more anti-vax than pro? Of course, I was pretty disgusted by the end so that could have been a shift in my perception. What he *doesn't* do is tell readers what they should or should not do. He places himself in the middle and tells readers they must get as much information as they can and then weigh the benefits against the risks to make their decisions.

This book will make you wonder if the Big G government ever tells you the truth about anything medical. From Agent Orange to the COVID vaccines the Author makes many statements and claims, but the difference with this book is that he also provides links to the data supporting his claims. I finished the book at 70% complete, the following 30% was several appendices and information with additional data. I did not go through this material. When there are competing opinions about the safety of a vaccine from several different sources, they always go to the The Institute of Medicine, and the Institute has rarely, if ever, says a vaccine has problems. And if it does, it takes them years, in one case, 25 years, to finally say there might be a problem. He has the minutes of meeting they had and it shows they had argument about, not the safety of the vaccine, but the semantics of how to say something without actually saying anything. A very interesting book that might open your eyes.

A not altogether persuasive take on the dangers of vaccine usage. Obviously had an angle, yet the case isn't as cut and dried as I have been taught either. I wish there was somewhere I could go for better information on this subject. The conventional authorites all claim there's nothing to see behind the curtain, while books like this seem to make the general claim that vaccines should be used sparingly if at all.

It's a shame nobody knows how to just be honest and direct anymore. Perhaps I'm not giving Mr. de Becker the credit he deserves. Maybe he's entirely honest. That said, the tone he used led me to believe he had more of an ax to grind than he was letting on and that perhaps he wouldn't be very forthcoming with information that undercut his argument. It just didn't feel balanced.

I neither recommend nor condemn this book. Read it if it interests you, but don't expect to find all the answers here - I just ended up with more questions.

Documentation is sound.

Personally, I abhor pseudoscience. Claims of vaccination efficacy without justification -- simply because one "feels" that it's good or bad for your health -- is not worth listening to.

That said, the author attempts to write a balanced article.

1. Vaccines do, in fact, succeed at their goals.
2. Corporations and the media (more so than government agencies) are the most guilty of false or exaggerated claims.
3. Groups like the NIH operate with peer reviewed research models whereby trained professionals call BS as needed. There are groups that don't work that way, however. They don't operate in good faith.
4. Profit guiding inquiry and investment is a widespread and typical mechanism. It's not sinister.
5. Autism is a collection of symptoms. Not a disease.
6. The appendices are robust.

The author has a vibrant writing style, albeit somewhat sensationalistic. The book's title is a little strong and unjustified, in my opinion.

Links between Agent Orange and sickness in returning soldiers and their offspring covered up by the CDC.
The link between childhood vaccination and autism covered up and debunked in poor research where doctors end up baffled in a most disgusting way where they invented word salads to explain it away that nobody could decipher.
The link between Gulf war Syndrome and the vaccine ingredient squalene debunked as was the damage caused by anthrax vaccinations.
The link between SIDS and baby vaccinations debunked.
Silicone breast implants and physical damage debunked
Talcum power and cancer link debunked.
Pattern?
When the former director of the CDC Dr Julie Gerberding then becomes the head of Merck's vaccine division thst should spell it all out clearly.

This book is a must read for all new parents and anyone trying to make an informed decision about vaccines. It takes a deep look into some of the history surrounding vaccines, the companies that make them, and little known facts that are important to know. It includes leaked transcripts showing how health officials are a lot more concerned with their word choices to communicate an agreed-upon conclusion rather than interested in true science or safeguarding our health. While the subject matter is very serious and the author takes it very seriously, parts of this book are very funny and ironic. This was a great informative book and not to be missed.

One of the most factual reviews of the vaccination program. it does, indeed, take an in-depth analysis of government deceit in the vaccination program. though the author does not expand to Rockefeller as he might well have done, it is masterful work of research. clearly there has been an attempt to forbid any discussion of this area for evident reasons. As a result this book becomes even more vital. it is documented as well as any legal brief. it reads like what it is: an account of true crime. somehow he finds humor from time to time. a must read... several times.

If you’re a parent, read this book. If you’re skeptical, read this book. If you’re curious, read this book! Then go read the vaccine package inserts. Then ask pro-vax folks why they believe what they believe (always hear both sides). Then ask those people if they’ve read this book. If you know someone who’s pregnant or trying to be, suggest this book. Suggest the podcast Gavin has been on (and a lawyer named Aaron Siri) and look up the statistics on vaccine injuries. People are sheep, and the wolves know it.

With a disarmingly easy to read discussion, Gavin de Becker exposes the ease with which the public has been deceived about the safety of childhood vaccines. Every parent should read this book, I wish it had been written years ago. I was particularly fascinated to learn about the Institute of Medicine (IOM), the go to private entity that assures the public that vaccines are always safe, no matter what the actual evidence shows.

I rarely try to read non-fiction, and when I do I almost never finish a book, even if it's about a topic I'm really interested in; they just can't suck me in. When I picked this book up I was only minorly interested in vaccines, but once I began it was so fascinating and engagingly written, that I read it in one day! Highly recommend because of important, revealing content, and just an enjoyable read.

Thorough, Blunt Expose

As a researcher myself, I saw how easy it was to lie. I designed and completed three research projects to answer questions I wanted answered. So I was careful with the design, data collection, and analyses. If Big Pharma wants to make money selling meds, it's easy to cheat. And they did . Massively.

Great explanation, very thorough, easy to understand, easy to verify.

Inconvenient truths that are well sited

This book is loaded with facts with the most source notations I have seen. What is more telling is the author presents the facts and then leaves it to the reader to draw their own conclusions.
The big take away. Do your own research. Between the "experts", the government, corporate interests and the media the onus is on YOU!

It is amazing how little we know of the safety of the medications we give our most vulnerable population. It is equally terrifying how much people continue to defend the safety in the absence of data and the presence of obvious correlation.

God bless RFK and the work he’s doing, along with Gavin for bringing the industry’s deep dark secrets to light.

This is a powerful essay from the author of the classic on personal security, "The Gift of Fear." Everyone should read this book. It turned my head around and gave me an entirely new way to view the vaccine industrial complex. It's alarming, of course, but knowledge is power, and Gavin de Becker is a trustworthy source.
