As an American I constantly hear two sides of the coin about China. One side says that everything China is bad and terrible. The other side says that everything is China is basically heaven on earth with nothing wrong. This book brings clarity in nice small bite sized pieces. Even if you don’t plan on visiting China I highly recommend this book just so you understand how China ticks as a country.

Perfect size and depth for a travel overview. Although Yuan falls in the bias he says he's trying to avoid, he definitely tries to be the most honest possible.
