This story had many firsts for me, lactation, CNC, drugging. Yes to the lactation and CNC.
I thought about dnf'ing because of the drugging but I'm glad I didn't. I know I'm vanilla. I was reading with my eyes half closed because there were scenes that made me uncomfortable, BUT when Seth finally confessed, was honest about what he had done, apologized and was sorry, AND Flynn punished him, I admit I was relieved.
I enjoyed the sex scenes, loved Seth's possessiveness and how much he cherished Flynn and loved him.

I was increasingly baffled while reading this because the cover looks very fluffy and sweet but then suddenly I was reading about stalking, dubcon, drugging and primal play. Tbh I probably would've read it sooner had I realized what it was really about, but as a big mood reader I was really thrown off by the content. After finishing it and looking back at the front of the book, I realized my Kindle had skipped the content warnings and taken me right to chapter 1. The content warnings are there, I just didn't realize or look for them, so that's on me.
The book was fine, but one thing that really confused me is that the omega (sorry, I've already forgotten both of their names) gave up his job because he wanted to save his milk for his alpha, but we never hear about him getting a new job. I don't understand how he's paying his bills, and why he'd give up his only source of income for a guy he's fucked once.

This is mostly, in my opinion, erotica, as not a whole lot of romantic connection outside of sex happens between Flynn and Seth, so that's why I tagged this with that tag. In the beginning they get to know each other one day a week for about a month on the train, but we don't get to see their talks that much, and we learn that Flynn does a lot of the talking during those times.
Not to say that these two weren't sweet then and that they didn't have chemistry, because they do. But if you're expecting a whole lot of romance in this? Well there isn't much of that in this book.
Also be aware of the trigger warnings in the beginning. There is non-con in this, from both of them toward each other. One is and the other is so they're kinda freak4freak here.
Aside from what I put under the spoiler tags, everything else is consensual between them, they just have some fucked up fantasies as well but are also totally hot as well.
The book warns for all these as well, so please do not go into this if non-con between the MC's in any capacity is your limit because you will not like this.
If you're okay with it in fiction, definitely dive into this one, especially if you like the lactating/breastfeeding kink and like mpreg and omegaverse as well. These two are hot AF together and they have some pretty steamy scenes together, especially later on.

I was also hoping for a reason or backstory for why Seth was the way he was, but it was just kind of a like a "okay guess he's just a bit freaky" *shrug* I just wish we'd gotten a bit more depth with both of these characters.
So this wasn't a 5 star read, but still a pretty good read overall, especially looking at it as a fairly quick erotica read and that this is supposed to be more sexy than anything.
There's also some mpreg, but we don't really see it on page, and it isn't a big focus of this book. But it is present near the end. But the lactation kink is the star of the show here.
So if you're just looking for a good sexy book with some hot but somewhat fucked up sex scenes and characters, then definitely read this. I still overall enjoyed this one and enjoyed it for what it was.

I was also hoping for a reason or backstory for why Seth was the way he was, but it was just kind of a like a "okay guess he's just a bit freaky" *shrug* I just wish we'd gotten a bit more depth with both of these characters.
So this wasn't a 5 star read, but still a pretty good read overall, especially looking at it as a fairly quick erotica read and that this is supposed to be more sexy than anything.
There's also some mpreg, but we don't really see it on page, and it isn't a big focus of this book. But it is present near the end. But the lactation kink is the star of the show here.
So if you're just looking for a good sexy book with some hot but somewhat fucked up sex scenes and characters, then definitely read this. I still overall enjoyed this one and enjoyed it for what it was.
Can't wait for more from this author, I've come to love her so much, she's such an amazing writer.

I‘ll keep it real and short…I struggled a lot with this book.
I know s lot of people loved this book but I really had a hard time getting into it mostly because I had no connection with these characters at all …I’m not sure but they felt really flat to me especially seth, he was someone I really couldn’t stand. I wished the entire time he and Flynn woudnt end up together lol. I didn’t liked how things went between them even tho they seemed fine with it. But to me it just didn’t felt right …something was off and I couldn’t just overlook the feeling I had.

Honestly this is not the spices I read, I have read spicier stories, but this is one of the most kinky that I have read. I actually thought I was gonna be a little gross out because he wants to drink his man’s breastmilk but honestly, it was so nicely written that I enjoyed it and it didn’t gross me out at all. I felt like it was a really nice balance between the nursing thing and all the other things that they were doing in the story. Like I said it was kinky. Honestly, most of it was consensual, but some of it wasn’t, that’s one of the reasons why it only got four stars. But the sexual stuff and the kink was there and it was nicely written.

in case you did want to ask, you might ask yourself - Linn how the fuck did you even find this book and why did you read it. and I would tell you well - I was reading this dragon shifter romance by one of my fav authors, and everything was alright, until like halfway through the book the author pulled out the lactation kink and I was blindsided. anyway, I didn't hate it completely, and when I looked at Goodreads to write an update, Goodreads was trying to be helpful and recommended Nursing the Alpha. Like the idiot I am, I was like okay this sounds positively unhinged, but also its 3 am, I just hurt my ankle taking my dog for a piss, and really need something to take the edge off, because the paracetamol is downstairs and there is no way I'm taking stairs when my foot is on fire. so I downloaded the sample, and before I knew it, I was 50% through this thing.

- Seth is actually cute

Well written and the trigger warnings were adequate to cover what followed. Yes Seth lies, stalks and Flynn starts out as naïve and winsome but it works until it doesn't. This dynamic changes with the revelation and subsequent noncon. They get the HEA that they deserve.
Final thought, reading this make me think about the role of women in this specific world, the implications for the present and that was concerning.

Wow, this book hooked me right from the start. It was so sweet and wildly hot! I loved every minute of it! I loved the high heat, deep connection between main characters, and all the feels that came with Flynn and Seth's journey to their HEA. I highly recommend if this is your jam!

Flynn, the omega, and Seth, the alpha, actually made the perfect couple. Flynn had a problem with his lactation milk, it just wouldn't stop coming out so he decided to donate it to families in need. Seth had a kink for omega's milk. Two halves of the same apple, really.
First, I was expecting something darker and, even though, it's a dark romance with some stalking, video recording and an alpha obsessed with an omega's lactation milk.
It is kinky, sure, but in my opinion the dub-con wasn't as such and the somnophilia was very much consented by the omega. Flynn was just, if not more, kinky than Seth and the timing for their meeting was actually perfect.
