A deadly rivalry. A supernatural family on edge. And a threat that no one saw coming.

Thatcher Blue has lost everything.

Skye Moon is gone—dead, or so he believes—after a vicious attack by his rival, the malicious vampire Nymir. Consumed by grief and rage, Thatcher sets off on a mission to destroy Nymir once and for all, determined to avenge Skye’s death. But every time he looks at Eleanor, Skye’s mother, he’s reminded that he failed to protect her.

In his quest for vengeance, Thatcher is joined by Eleanor and his werewolf cousins, but just as he’s closing in on Nymir, a shocking revelation pulls him back to his family. Thatcher’s heart, already in tatters, is about to be shattered again with a discovery that will change everything.

Somehow, Skye is back but not at all as she once was.

Her return is only the beginning. As the truth behind her death—and her unusual transformation—unfolds, Thatcher and Skye must face not only their painful past but the dangerous family secrets that threaten to tear them apart. In this final chapter of the Bellocaro Saga, the stakes are higher than ever, and the supernatural forces at play will leave readers breathless.

Prepare for a whirlwind romance full of unexpected twists, heartbreaking moments, and an ending that will have fans cheering. Vamparency is the highly anticipated fourth book in P.S. Meraux’s seductive vampire romance series.

About the author

P.S. Meraux

P.S. Meraux writes books about paranormal chaos, sassy heroines, and creatures who are just a little unhinged (in the best way). She's an Indie and Amazon bestselling author—which sounds fancy until you realize it just means she drinks too much coffee and argues with fictional people for a living. Her stories mix sci-fi, mystery, romance, and a generous helping of “wait, did that just happen?”

P.S. has a thing for supernatural oddballs, morally gray weirdos, and badass women who save themselves (and occasionally punch vampires in the face). Her idea of worldbuilding is "let's break everything and see what grows back."

Originally from South Carolina, she now lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where her backyard is suspiciously full of fireflies and dubiously English for someone not living in a BBC period drama. There may or may not be faeries. There is definitely sarcasm.

5 Stars – Because Apparently Emotional Damage and Vampire Drama Are My New Comfort Zone

Vamparency doesn’t waste any time with pleasantries — it throws you straight into Thatcher Blue’s emotional blender of trauma, grief, and vampire-fueled revenge. His fiancée, Skye, has been murdered by a vampire (rude), and naturally, he decides the healthiest coping mechanism is a good old-fashioned supernatural murder quest. We love a boy with a plan. And a stake.

So, Thatcher sets off to do the whole “avenge my dead love” thing — but wait! Plot twist: mysterious witch lady appears (because of course), and then Skye’s mom, Eleanor, shows up too. Eleanor is distant in that “I’m grieving but also vaguely ethereal” way, which is either her processing pain or just classic emotionally unavailable vampire-mom behavior. Either way, they head off together through coastal Georgia, as one does when hunting ancient vampire enemies.

Everything seems to be going… well? Ish? They finally reach Sceadu Island, a place that sounds like the gothic version of a summer camp with a body count. Here, the infamous Nymir is supposedly trapped. The group gets surprise backup (because what’s a supernatural showdown without reinforcements?), and then—shocker—things go sideways. Like, full paranormal-chaos-meltdown sideways.

Oh, and remember Skye? Yeah, she's back! Sort of. In a “paranormal remix” version of herself that includes some serious identity issues and, yes, a POV shift. (Thanks, author, for the emotional whiplash.) No spoilers, but let’s just say she’s not quite the same — though her sass levels remain blessedly intact.

Eventually, the big family-vampire-drama curtain is yanked wide open. Secrets spill, ancient grudges are aired, and we finally get the tea on why Nymir has had a vendetta against the Blues for over a century. Also, we learn why the Blue vampires are basically running on a limited-edition battery while other vampires are living their best immortal lives. Spoiler: it’s weirdly touching. Who knew vampire family baggage could make you tear up?

As if that weren’t enough, Eleanor drops a revelation so juicy it could power a soap opera for three seasons. Suddenly, her extended stay on Sceadu Island in Fangenstein (Book 3, remember that fever dream?) makes total sense. Apparently the island has a youth-only guest policy unless you’re holding serious magical receipts.

Romance-wise, there’s just enough to keep the YA vibes alive without making anyone need to skip pages in front of their parents. The passion is more implied than explicit, like a CW show that forgot it was airing at 8 p.m.

Honestly, I adored this book. From Skye navigating her "afterlife glow-up" to the quirky humor sprinkled between all the existential crises, the author nails the voice. I laughed, I cried, I questioned my trust in supernatural boarding schools.

This book brings the Bellocaro Saga to a close (sob), but the door is WIDE open for sequels. There are still plenty of angsty werewolves, chaotic witches, and brooding vampire teens left on Sceadu Island — and let’s be real, I need more of their drama in my life.

Bring on the sequel(s), please. I’ll be here, sharpening stakes and clutching my emotional support garlic.
