I was hooked from the first chapter! Caleb’s journey from a loyal NSA operative to a fugitive framed for a massive cyberattack is both thrilling and emotionally powerful. The political intrigue feels frighteningly real, and the twists kept me second-guessing everyone’s motives. The chemistry between Caleb and Kalyssa was a perfect balance to the high-stakes drama. This book made me think, feel, and race through the pages. Easily one of the best political thrillers I’ve read in years!

A Fast Paced Thriller with Heart
As a middle-aged Christian woman, I found The Player and The Pawn to be a refreshing surprise. It’s fast-paced, with short chapters that kept me turning pages late into the night. The characters felt relatable—real people wrestling with doubt, hope, and hard choices.

What stood out most was how the story tackles moral dilemmas without being heavy-handed. In the middle of political intrigue and danger, there’s a deeper layer about truth, faith, and the choices that define us. The vivid imagery brought every scene to life, but it was the emotional honesty that lingered with me after I closed the book.

The ending left me excited for the sequel—I can’t wait to see where the story goes next.

One of the worst examples of AI slop I've ever encountered. Do not recommend. I'd actually pay money to get the time back I spent reading this.
