Great Book! Would definitely recommend to any Carmelo Anthony or Basketball fan.

I love inspirational tales, and Melo's rise up from the drug-infested streets into the realm of mega-million superstardom shows that anything is possible if you believe that it is. Follow his journey, his struggles, even being cut from his high school team. This boy had a vision, a dream from which he would not be turned, and Geoffrey's brings it to life. If you want it badly enough, if you work for it every waking moment, and live it in every thought, only then you can follow in Melo's footsteps.From the Denver Nuggets to the New York Knicks, and even to the Olympic games, Carmelo "Melo" Anthony has been among the shining stars of basketball, and this biography of his struggles to get there lets you walk side-by-side with him all the way, through the highlights, the fouls, the broken bones, and the sucker punches. Rich with statistics, scores, accomplishments, titles, and a look behind the scenes, experience his high points, and his low points, in this detailed play-by-play of Carmelo Anthony's rise to basketball fame. Melo's world was the basketball court and he owned every square inch of it, but you don't have to be a fan of basketball to enjoy this book. Anyone with a dream can appreciate what it takes to get there, and to stay there.
