From the very first page, I was creeped out. It felt like I was in the mind of Lena… or was I? 🤨
Peripheral dives into the life and mind of Lena, whose sketchy past rises to the surface after reclaiming her late mother’s estate. The longer she stay in the house, the more time seems to no longer exist. Her mind is racing, writing that she doesn’t remember writing appear. The walls seem to hold a secret and her mind goes insane trying to uncover the truth. But will she figure out the truth before it’s too late?

This novella started out strong with a warning that made me wonder if I should, in fact, read this or not.

Magdalene Black always noticed something different in mirrors. Or were the mirrors noticing her? Watch out for reflections, in spoons, tv screens, mirrors, everywhere, or you may find yourself the one being observed.

I enjoyed this novella. It does seem like a children’s or young adult read by the way it’s written and its flow. An entertaining read.
