Loved the tension, the spice, the drama, and them both trying to hide their true feelings and act along with the unique situation they find themselves in.
It's a nice quick read that pulls you in and hits hard with the broody demon boss and desperate to be loved assistant Harper as they figure out their chemistry and feelings.
The grand gesture was the sweetest and I loved the ending.

This is my first time reading a book by Elena and she has made me OBSESSED with her writing style and her stories!

Even though this was a novella, Therapist to my demon boss had everything I wanted!! Smut AND plot!! Once I started this i couldn’t stop thinking about it and i raced to finish it.

I need more Ambrose in my life, what a MANNNNN 💕💕

So cute and spicy!! This is the perfect quick read as a break between long books.

Harper is the epitome of hot mess - but she is so relatable. I loved her whole storyline and the fact that she still stayed messy even by the end.

Ambrose is the broody spicy demon of monster lovers dreams. Grand gestures straight from a rom com movie? Sign me up.

This was my first impression of this author, and now, I fear that I must read everything that she writes. 🥵

I love a workplace romance trope, but make him her hot demon boss who can't keep his spicy pheromones in check, and I'm gnawing at the bars of my enclosure. For such a short read, the writing went a long way in making me absolutely fall in love with Ambrose and Harper.

• He is a jaded businessman who doesn't believe that love is in the cards for him.
• She is a hopeless romantic who believes in grand gestures and fairytale endings.
- all it takes is an illegal "therapy" app to bridge the gap between appropriate office relationship and pent-up desire

Not only is this monster novella high heat, but it is also devastatingly romantic in the way that Ambrose pines for Harper when he knows he shouldn't.

"If I said nothing, if I just loved her quietly, maybe that would be enough. But love is never quiet. It screams when you try to bury it."

Oh to read a novella that feels like a whole novel! Elena absolutely did an amazing job with this one. So much emotion jam packed into one story, it made me never want to leave! Harper has it hard - dealing with an ex who cheated, finding her way after a hard break up, and trying not to fall for her incredibly hot demon boss. What starts as a means of convenience turns into anything but when an arrangement all too tempting comes to play.

Ambrose has worked hard on everything he has in life. His business, his success, and his image. The only thing not working out so well? His pheromones that can't seem to give him a break. An secret app unlocks the key to his problem, but allures him to the one person he aims to please - Harper. These two colleagues come together in a nights of passion and days at the office, slowly coming to realize just how much they might need each other.

This was a wonderful afternoon read, with the perfect amount of spice and a storyline that makes you crave more. More Harper. More Ambrose. More of the delicious desire they created with one another. More Damien too honestly because hello?! His support meant the entire world. I loved how loud and unapologetic this book was!

Harper has had a rough day and all of it because of her now ex, Chad, who left her without a place to leave and utterly alone. That's when one of her friends tells her of a secret illegal app she can join, an app where you can match with demons and beings that need to let go of their pheromones. The only tiny detail will be that Herper's match is her current boss. Her solution? Tell him to wear a blindfold. Problem? Both of them may be enjoying these therapy sessions a bit too much.

Harper is so funny and an overthinker, so, of course, when she sees her boss is her new client she is going to panic and tell him about the blindfold. This was just too funny, and sweet, and I need them both to be happy ever after. Also, I loved Harper's friend and how supportive he was of everything.

Ambrose is A TEN OUT OF TEN!! Love that demon, I'm officially in love. AND THE ENDING?!?!? LOOOOVE HIM.

This novella will definitely bring you into the story, and you'll feel for the character and get sucked into the storyline and all the feels!!

I love an office monster romance, especially when the stacks are high, and this definitely delivered on that. I loved that Ambrose was already a bit in love with her to start, obsessed with her scent and the way she carried herself. He clocked her engagement ring being gone right away and was thankful for it. Scent was a very very important factor in Ambrose and Heather’s relationship. Down on her luck and just out of a horrible relationship, Heather turns to an illegal monster hook up app, acting as a therapist to those who need help with their pheromones. She just so happens to match with Ambrose and it spirals from there!

The tension between the two, in and out of the office was great. The blindfold she makes Ambrose wears making everything hotter. I loved seeing him lose it and take control, being rough and dominant. The Pheromones were used to burn everything hotter, with some light bondage and spanking mixed in. The spice was great, I would’ve loved to see more of their sessions together but I loved getting to see domestic scenes as well. Overall, I liked it!

“Therapy, but make it demonic.”

Therapist to my Demon Boss by Elena H. Covens was honestly such a wild ride, and I mean that in the best way. I picked this up as ARC not fully knowing what I was getting into and ended up bingeing it way faster than I expected.

This book has all the chaotic elements I love: a morally questionable, ridiculously hot demon boss who absolutely needs therapy (lol), a heroine who’s done taking anyone’s crap, and that addictive push-pull tension.

I really enjoyed the banter and the therapist angle it gave their relationship a fun twist instead of being just another boss/employee romance. The spicy moments? Definitely delivered. The tension, and the unhinged demon energy.

If you like morally grey supernatural love interests, snarky heroines, and books that don’t take themselves too seriously, give this one a shot. I’ll definitely be reading more from Elena H. Covens!

I really fell in love with Harper from the start. She’s a sweet lovable character who fell in love with the wrong man. But that leads her to the right one, the perfect one actually. Ambrose on the other hand is more brooding type but the very cliché CEO rough around the edges, but SOOO insanely hot. Both of them make a wonderful mix together. It’s a very fun spicy romance. The chemistry the two have is absolutely wonderful and the scenes are so fun. There’s also the whole story underneath that they shouldn’t be together, but they like each other but blah blah blah very cliché but I really like that about it. I think it’s a good short summer read if you’re just looking for a good time I really do suggest it. It’s not super long so why not give it a try

Cozy monster romance where the monster is a broken dude fighting for his sanity and falls in love with his assistant? Say no more this is for you. Right off the bat this is a very fast read. It’s just a little Novella and you can read it in just a day while relaxing. I’d consider this to be an excellent palate cleanser if you’ve been reading a lot of heavy fantasy or dark romance. I don’t usually talk too much about plot in my reviews, but what I will say is it’s very cute. It’s very cozy. the spice hits and it’s definitely not the type of monster romance that some might consider “too much”

It’s genuine cute and quick and a great little read to escape from reality.

Highly recommend to be read with a glass of wine

I absolutely loved this novella. This is such a short, quick and easy read. It is a take on a billionaire romance but he’s a demon and she’s human. He has a split serpentine tongue and has to be blindfolded every time they meet for one of their “dates”

Ambrose our billionaire demon, a businessman that doesn’t believe love is for him.

Harper our hopeless romantic, hurt by her cheating ex trying to find her way again.

This novella is cute and spicy in all the right ways. I love how Elena put a spin on a “modern day dating app” and turned it into this spicy romance novella.

I absolutely recommend adding this to your TBR

Honestly, I could not put this book down! The banter; the character growth; the spice 👀🔥 the "secrets" the MCs kept from each other create more tension than just sexual!

MMC big boss demon downloading an app just to release some of that pent-up..."energy" and finds his Flower, what will he do to keep his biggest secret? And will it cost him everything??

FMC loves the idea of love and movies. That's where she gets her biggest fantasies... come find out what -grand gesture- is her go-to in movies!

It's a cute shorter read and it's definitely worth the download!

Hopeless romantic x guy that feels like he doesn’t deserve it, what could possibly go wrong??

Elena Covens just keeps on eating with these monster romance novellas. I have absolutely loved all of her writing and this was no exception.

Full of spice and exquisite tension with characters that tried their best to hide their feelings, I loved this one sitting read, with characters that were so entertaining.

Imma need an Ambrose in my life 🤭

I genuinely wish this book was longer! The plot was written so well and it kept my attention. I loved the banter between the two main characters. The ending was SO GOOD!

This was such a fun quick read. I read it in one sitting at only 100 pages long but I genuinely had a blast reading it.
It’s so hard to rate novellas but I had an overall good time and it kept me engaged the whole time. I didn’t expect to like a demon as much as I did but what can I say 😅

I have to say for something 104 pages it peeked my interest and I read it in half an hour I’ve always love every book she’s wrote and now I get to add this one to the list.

How could you not love a demon and his therapist human.

The “therapy” sessions were quite amazing from the start.
