My Thoughts:
Killer Personality is an electrifying psychological thriller about seduction and danger that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Through Kevin's and Olivia's compelling performances as prey and predator, Steven Fisher provides readers with a dark but entertaining depiction of themes like self-identity, trauma, and the thin line that separates adaptive behavior from pathological behavior. The pacing and narrative buildup amplify the psychological suspense woven throughout the chapters. Olivia’s shocking inner monologues are nicely paired against Kevin’s gradual realization about the woman he fell in love with. Ultimately, this is a character-driven tale that raises some fascinating questions about the cause of personality disorders and violent inclinations in persons who exhibit these traits. It is both an in-depth exploration of the human psyche and a chilling journey. Psychological thriller fans are guaranteed to enjoy this exhilarating novel.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced thriller that delves deep into the mind of a serial killer, look no further — Killer Personality by Steven Fisher has just that! When Kevin goes on a date with Olivia, he thinks he’s met the girl of his dreams — until he discovers he’s dead wrong. As more of Olivia’s past comes to light and the bodies keep piling up, Kevin wrestles with his feelings for her and becomes increasingly determined to uncover who she really is — and why her personality is so killer.

This book sank its claws into me from the very first pages. I enjoyed the multiple POVs, alternating between Olivia and Kevin, as well as some of the later-introduced characters. While a few parts were a bit predictable, overall I stayed engaged and didn’t see the ending coming!

To begin with, the author is a company boss and sort of demanded that his employees buy the book. Of course, with proceeds going to a charity or a tax write-off or whatever. So there's that.

Out of curiosity alone, I read this poor excuse of a novel.

I found the story line predictable and tedious.

Very little character development, and I was often confused by the multitude of plot holes. I hope to never again encounter Olivia and Kevin.

Dull Personality would have been a more appropriate title.

I hope the author sees the light, and sticks to the day job.

For Steven Fisher’s first book I was very impressed. I liked that there were several characters and they told their own story. I’m giving this a 4.5 only because the beginning was a little slow but quickly turned into a fast paced read!
