Laughter and love filled Hannah Joy’s childhood. However, on her twenty-first birthday, her life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers family secrets that put her at risk. Seeking safety, Hannah flees to the anonymity of Crawdad Beach, where she hopes and prays to find the truth surrounding her past.
Cameron Doss enjoyed success, friendships, family, and a bright future until a devious relationship shattered his world. When his aunt offers him a job in Crawdad Beach, Cameron jumps at the opportunity to escape the lies and deceit that wrecked his life.
Hannah and Cameron must confront their past, but will they find healing and their faith strengthened, or will their discoveries destroy their future?
Readers may enjoy each book in the series as a standalone novel.
Lisa Buffaloe is a God-loving, Jesus following, multi-published author and happily-married mom. Her past experiences bless her with a backdrop to share about God’s unending love and that through Him we find healing, restoration, and renewal.
I am again delighted to have spent the day at Crawdad Beach. You'd think that the trips to this wonderful place would get monotonous after eleven visits, but that was not the case. While the locale is familiar and the characters play a part in one another's story, each book brings new characters with new experiences. Still, in each book readers are witnessing the goodness of our loving Father and the blessings of living a faith-filled life. I looking forward to my 12th visit to this amazing little town. Maybe I'll learn more about Hannah Joy's brother...
Another great read in the series. Loving the series and the characters. This one has great wisdom to impart on how to handle life when bad things happen. Gives you the 2 choices to either have peace or end in self pity. A great read, plus great wisdom. A real plus both ways!
