Brewer Family Collection: Part 2

Rate this book
Fall in love with the billionaire Brewer Family heroes in The Merger and The Situation.

The Crushes are harmless—unless they involve your best friend’s grumpy, off-limits brother.

Gannon Brewer is the epitome of my type. He’s at least ten years older than me, emotionally unavailable, and highly disagreeable—a walking red flag in a tailored suit. But do I listen to that? No. In fact, when his office plants start dying, I convince myself that I can ignore the pheromones and save the philodendron.

Now I’m in his office every week, dodging sinful smirks and heated stares, reminding myself to reach for the watering can—not him. But one “ivy incident” changes everything. Suddenly, we’re sneaking around, indulging in a steamy, forbidden fling that’s supposed to be nothing more than (a lot of) fun.

After all, he swears he’ll never fall in love. I assure him that I only want one thing, and it’s not his heart. But the closer we get, the more lines we blur, and the harder it becomes to keep our promises …

Especially when the secret I’m keeping threatens to shatter everything.

The
Someone should tell Tate Brewer that one-night stands aren’t supposed to come with a sequel.

I’ve learned the hard way—don’t be reckless with anything, least of all my heart. But after one too many vodka sodas, saying yes to a much younger, devastatingly smooth stranger for one wild night seems like the perfect way to forget my brutal divorce. I even gave him a fake name. What could go wrong?

You’d be surprised.

Because instead of being my spicy little secret, Tate is now the chief marketing officer at my new job. He’s determined to prove our night together was only the beginning—and he has the tools to do it.

Chiseled jaw. Washboard abs. Effortless charm. He’s as sinful as he is sweet and knows exactly how to get under my skin and melt my defenses.

I wanted a one-night stand. Instead, I got a “situation.”

Gannon’s book was probably one of my favorites! His books explained so much about him that everyone else assumed he was just broody when deep down he was a giant teddy bear and i love that he showed that mostly to Cary’s. I love how even though they have an age gap that when they talk about childhood/teenage memories Cary’s has ones with Tate and Gray and Gannon never knew about. He had the weight of the world on his shoulders and Reid was the worlds wort father besides Kent! I love how loving Carys’s mom is towards her and even though she would like her to work with her still. I love Gannon’s family especially after they get rid of Reid.

I feel like with Tates book it was just thrown together to give Aurora the HEA she deserves after all the heartbreak and that a lot of it was circling around the fake identity and one night stand part when it could have been a lot stronger and happier for longer had it focused on the HEA for them sooner. I feel like Tate was sort of ripped off in a rushed way for his book. I think aurora was perfect for him and he for her.

I listens to the audiobook and read the ebooks for both these books and i think they were book good. I feel like Gannon’s narration worked for his character because he kind of sounded grumpy or even like if a brooding Eeyore (cant spell) from Winnie the Pooh sounding voice which honestly worked for the character. I think I’d still give the books 5/5 each because they were good. The spice is good but i think I’d give it 4/5 for both books.

Enjoyable Read!

I enjoyed reading this book!
These emotional characters were filled with a great amount of depth, their background gave so much more to the development of the storyline which is solid and a consistent page turner. The story flowed easily throughout the pages. A must read!
