Four years after the end of the Minotaur War and Berek's sacrifice, the friends have moved on with their lives. Each has faced new challenges, but nothing can prepare them for what's to come.

Solaria fought against the Gods of Pyrain for dominance in an age long forgotten by most. Defeated, he was imprisoned within the bones of the world for eternity.

The coming of the Phoenix allowed The Fallen God Solaria to escape from his prison. Promising revenge on those that wronged him, Solaria seeks out those with anger in their hearts to champion his cause while he gathers his strength.

Will the prophesized Lightwalker rise before the world is destroyed by a ancient conflict?

Amazing, again!
Bialois amazes me; his ability to build worlds and shape characters is deft and stunning. The Light Walker, is yet another in a fine series. He sends heroes to die, ghosts to shape events, and introduces new protagonists and antagonists who lend themselves perfectly to the plots in his books. In one line of text, I am rooting for a protagonist, and in the next, that protagonist is suddenly a well-shrouded antagonist. His ability to hide the evil, or good, of his characters until the proper moment astounds me. He managed not to kill off my favorite character, the halfling, Janessa, in this book. Why, he even managed to set up a love interest for her. That should be an interesting read, because I know how much trouble the little thief can cause. Heroes, villains, magic users, strong protagonists, both male and female abound in this series. If you enjoy a good fantasy-adventure, this book fits the bill. It is easy to rate this five-star and recommend it to audiences of all ages.
Although this is a stand-alone book, I strongly suggest reading “The Sword And The Flame: The Forging” before reading this book. You wouldn’t want to overlook the adventures of the heroes and villains that came before those in this book!

I am really enjoying this series of books. Always full of vibrant characters and plenty of fantastical adventures, and always unpredictable. I am looking forward to reading the next one.
