Death Reapers- Book of Lilyana by Maxamillion Moon

Death Reapers: The Book of Lilyana is the first volume in the Chronicles of Death Reapers. The book is gothic dark fantasy that will take you on an adventure, so I highly recommend you add it to your list. Get ready to follow Lilyana Morrigan an Archbishop and her elite execution team as they hunt different types of Vampires around the world to find clues on the whereabouts of the Cabal’s secret stronghold.
To start off there was quite a bit of information world building, which I love don’t get me wrong but if I’m being honest this book did take me a few chapters to get into but once I kept reading, I absolutely devoured the book. It was amazing! Well written and a great story line where I couldn’t even predict some of the things that would happen.
Vampires and vampire hunters… sign me up to be a death reaper because that sounds like my future calling!
Another thing I really liked for a change was the pictures Maxamillion added at the end of a chapter when a new character was introduced. When I read a book I normally imagine the characters in my head from the descriptions given but I quite liked this feature that was offered.
The descriptions and wording within this book had me quite captivated to see what Maxamillion Moon would write next. “The vampire danced in a rhythmic motion, with Ryan’s slimy and warm bowels wrapped around himself like an organic shawl, sliding across the pool of blood and entrails on the floor.”
I cannot wait to see what the sequel will bring us with the way this ended!

There was a lot of world building in the beginning and I was a little overwhelmed. But once I understood the world I enjoyed it a lot! There was a lot of content when it came to different types and variations of vampires. I loved how detailed you were and how you also had pictures showing what some of them looked liked. That was so helpful! I found that really helpful. This book was packed full of battles. You did a good job with all of the battle scenes. I was always wanting to know the outcome. I like Lily she is a strong woman and is the best of the best. I really liked the Death Reapers. It was very fast paced and so many twists were added in. If you are looking for an action packed vampire book I highly recommend this one! Can't wait to read the next book! Thank you so much @maxamillionmoon for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of the ARC Team!

This was a new-to-me author, and I absolutely loved this vampire book! From the very first line, the action takes off and doesn’t let up. Lilyana has to face her demons while we’re introduced to fascinating new creatures and characters. The world building is mind-blowing and completely drew me in. The Reapers especially were everything I was craving and more—I can’t wait to see what happens next with them. This is a must-read and this author has officially become a 1-click favorite for me!

Death Reapers: Book of Lilyana is Volume I of the new Chronicles of Death Reapers series. It is a gothic thriller meets paranormal meets dystopian meets dark fantasy with deadly battles. Our heroine Lilyana has psychological demons of her own.
Maxamillion Moon is a master at creating complex characters and an even more complex universe with a variety of undead monsters and vampire like creatures from every corner of the world. The character art throughout this book is incredible and brings the story to life. It greatly helped me to see the creatures described and compare them to the images in my mind. The characters themselves are amazing. Each death reaper we meet is just as amazing if not more than the last. The diversity is refreshing. So many ethnicities featured.
Overall this story captivated me from the first chapter jumping straight into the action. The non-linear approach added to the suspense. Bouncing from character to character built the overarching story piece by piece. Each plot point adding to the mystery and complexity of the Death Reapers world. I finished this book in three days because it was so difficult to put down. Never a dull moment. The ending had my jaw on the floor. I am excited to see what Maxamillion Moon does next.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves gothic thrillers, dark fantasy, the paranormal, and bad**s characters. Pick up this book and step into a world that will sink its teeth into you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! Maxamillion brings a strong sense of style to the vampire genre, blending global legends with dramatic storytelling.
The story moves quickly and kept me well engaged, and the way the Maxamillion describes scenes made it easy for me to visualize them.
Lilyana Morrigan is fierce, flawed, and fascinating, and watching her unravel was half the fun. The vampire myths from different countries were fun to read!
The character art is amazing. It feels like extra content in the story, making the whole experience even better.
Maxamillion was a new to me author and hope to read more in the future if there’s additions to this story!

This was the best vampire hunter book I have ever read there was so much plot with lots of twists great world and character building and the characters development was great i absolutely loved this book can’t wait to see other books in the future. So much action absolutely amazing great job 👏

This book is so detailed, on the characters what is happening it is a little overwhelming and I couldnt read it at my normal speed, that being said once you get use to the detail and the helpful images portraying each character I didnt want to stop reading!
The world created does not shine vampires in any light other then being monsters and there twisted minds prove that! Instead of romancing vampires the author has made them so twisted and evil your shocked at the lengths this book will go.
Being the first in the series it sets an incredible beginning you will not see it coming! This book will take you on a dark journey so why not dive in to the darkness and read it whose really on there side?
