After serving 5 years in prison, Kamden “Killa” King has returned home. Although his best friend Zeke did everything to make his transition into the free world as smooth as possible, Killa’s family unit, as he knows it, has undergone the most unconventional changes.
Aside from wanting to discover who set up his arrest, he’s found himself in the middle of a bigger issue that may garner a new his father, Boston King.
When bonds are formed, family ties are broken. Secrets are uncovered, and both alpha males know the war won’t end well. Kamden is fully prepared to show his father who’s King, especially if he thinks it’s a game.
Babyyyyy, Boss is a grown boy trying to function in a world where men make decisions!!!… I was so happy that Kamden(King) stepped in leveled that chess board while his evil daddy was playing checkers!!!… But now I need to know if King made it from that barber shop!!!…Zeke is about to wreck some things about his boy!!!…H just had an emotional moment with him, so I know he’s riding on a high!!!… Ryleigh got her freedom and I can’t wait to see what she does!!!…I was glad she stood her grounds about giving into Boss ole raggedy ash!!!… The fact that he thought bringing other women to their marital home was going to make Ry want him is insane!!!… He should have just married Annalise with her ole delusional ash!!!…Now she running into her niece sucking up on the same man!!!… Boss is just nasty!!!… I hope Zeke and Brooke are a hoot and I can’t wait til they fully commit to each other!!!…
This book was intense, messy, and completely addictive.
Riley Cooper is forced into an unimaginable situation when her father’s debt leads her into a forced marriage with a powerful and dangerous man. The dynamic between Riley and Boss is uncomfortable yet compelling, making it impossible to look away.
What really elevated the story for me was Kamden “Killah” King. His return from prison and the tension between him and his father adds a strong layer of conflict and anticipation for what’s to come.
The writing keeps you engaged, and the storyline is filled with drama, power struggles, and emotional complexity.
I’m very invested in where this series is headed and will definitely be continuing with Book 2.
Think it's a game (think it's a game series book 1)
You left us hanging, what happened to King? Did he get shot and who was trying to kill him? How can a dad hate his own kids because his wife loved and spent more with them? Boss is crazy as all out doors. Somebody going to have to put him down because he's trying to kill his son over a woman that don't want anything to do with him. Why was Ry going to his house by herself?
I really enjoyed part one!!!! I just hope that Ryleigh doesn’t piss me off in book two! The thought of someone actually hating their children and wanted them to be taken out is completely wild to me!! However the way Boss moves is foul and he should definitely meet his demise soon… hopefully.
Let me just say I love me some kam/king/killa 🤤 it’s just everything about him screams BDE and I’m here for it.Boston is a jack can’t stand him I’m hoping he gets everything that he deserves,Tori too needs a good old 👊🏾👊🏾 Ry love her and Brooklyn ❤️ my boy Zeke better get it together. I can’t wait to see what happens .
Poor little Ryleigh Cooper was forced to marry Boston King to save her father's life. Being the kingpin that he was, he now thought he owned Ryleigh, body and soul. Her saving grace was meeting his children. His daughter Brooklynn, and son Kamden...
Oh, Killa King....Cam proved that he was the KING despite his daddy's petty behavior and foolishness. Ry just kept falling in the trap. Let's see where this cliffhanger takes us!
