I am a big fan of Ella Mills and her cooking style. She has changed a lot over the years as her life and needs of cooking change. I have cooked every recipe in most of her cookbooks as a fun project to learn and see new methods of cooking. I guess you could say I've done Ella's cooking school :) This newest cookbook features lots of different ways to make plants taste great it is all about getting diversity into your diet with plant points. The goal being 30 each week. It includes meal plans to help make life that much easier. What I really like in this book that is very different is the batch cook meals into a different variation of the recipe so you aren't eating just a leftover but a new dish made with part of your leftovers...interesting! As always she gives tons of tips and swap ideas for different ways to make the recipe which really helps you learn how to use the recipe as a start and helps you learn to cook and see ingredients better for yourself. I can't wait to cook the entire thing, check back in a few years to see if I've finished it :D
Excellent new book by Ella , yes it's very similar to her others but I like the way one recipe then is given a new idea for eating up the new day. Plus I always find her food easy , on a day when I can't be bothered to Ottolenghi complicated with loads of washing up.
Easy, plant based recipes from Ella Mills. Very few sweet treats. It's intended as a guide to help with quick, weekly meal planning. Some good recipes, though a few seem a bit repetitive. Handy meal planner and QR codes at the back so you can prep shopping lists. Her last book had a QR code linking it to the Deliciously Ella app so you could access recipes there. Unfortunately not available for this book.
