“They control the narrative, they always have, and that’s where their power lies for now.”

Maris Sylvara came to Kharidia to report the truth. When an attack creates distance between them, Maris is forced to flee, sprinting right into the path of the rebellion's most feared a lethal, golden-eyed magic user cloaked in mystery.

His power is undeniable. His presence, magnetic. And despite everything she’s been told, Maris can’t bring herself to run from him.

While helping Kharidian civilians escape the destruction, Maris begins to see the war—and her own heart—in a new light. But as her choices grow darker and her hands far from clean, one question

This is my new favorite in the Prince of Hell series (I know, I know i say that after every book🤣). In all seriousness, though, the storyline in Syndicated is dark, emotional, and so important.

Maris is a phenomenal FMC. She is fierce and resilient and so brave. My favorite things about Maris though is seeing her journey and thought process shift throughout the book. In the beginning, Maris isn't extremely invested in the war. Sure, she thinks it's bad, but that's really where her thoughts stop. Once she is in the heart of the conflict however, and she sees the atrocities being committed with her own eyes her mindset shifts into one of pure anger and she is willing to do anything to try and help put an end to this war.

Sitri is our MMC, and just like all the other princes, he is incredible. What I love about Sitri is his openness with Maris. He doesn't keep her in the dark about who he is or what's going on. He is open with her from the very beginning. He also provides a beautiful "Did he hurt you?" moment that was 🔥.

Even though this is a spicy paranormal romance book, while reading, i felt myself thinking about the issues that are currently going on in the world and how devastating it is. It truly made me think more about what I could potentially do to help.

On a side note, Lennard was such a surprising side character in the sense that I felt an instant connection to his character and hope that he makes another appearance in a later book, because his character has so much potential.

Lastly, this is a dark book that deals with a lot of traumatic events that also happen in the real world, so please read the trigger warnings to know if this book os the right fit for you!

I can't wait to see what Aella writes next ❤️

I am in love with the series.
Sitri is the perfect example of ‘looks like he could unalive you, is a cinnamon roll’ but only for those he cares about. His relationship with Maris is so precious once he realizes who she is to him.
Rob is literal trash and gets what he deserves

This is the fourth book in the Prince of Hell series, and like the last one (Convalesced) I was left wondering how it connected with the others for most of the book.

As a standalone, it's a great story and an enjoyable read, and for that it's getting 4 stars (would be 5 stars with some more editing/cohesion). As part of the ongoing series, I was just SO confused at the beginning that I actually stopped and double checked the summary of the other books to make sure I was reading the series I thought I was reading, lol. They started talking about this place called Kharidia and Servilians and I was like.. huh? I dunno, maybe I should re-read the other 3 books again? Because I remember nothing about any of that.

This one does have some SA and violence triggers in it that people may find unreadable or disturbing, also it's set in a literal warzone, so please read with that in mind.

Maris is a good character, I actually like her. She's a survivor and doesn't annoy me. Sitri is, as always, the perfect gentlemen (err... gentledemon) and I'd love to have one of my own, lol.

As with the previous book, there are some annoying things left unexplained. Why did Rob suddenly go off the deep end in their relationship? Why, if the evil leaders of the world have ultimate control over pretty much everything, would they allow her story to propagate without just tossing it away as "fake news" and discredit her completely? Why would the bad guys be allowed to run governments that force the wholesale slaughter of humans in order to reap their souls for their army, but the good guys are not allowed to interfere even to the point of saving innocent lives without risking their own death for rule breaking? Makes no sense to me.

This book was GRIPPING!!!! Maris is such a badass, and Sitri is so grounding. This story was heartwrenching and very relavent to the current political climate.

Maris is an investigative journalist who gets sent to an active war zone to report on what she sees. After 2 incredibly traumatic experiences (mind the content warning), she is rescued by a masked magic user and learns the truth about what is actually happening in the area. The ending was everything I hoped for, and I am here to support women's wrongs.

I hope the next book is Caass because let me tell you, I almost rioted when I didn't know which direction his character was going to go.

"Did he hurt you?"

"I suppose it's just my luck that I happened to run into a demon, of all people."

The first book, Summoned, was my favorite from this series so far, but now this book is my new favorite!🤩 an intriguing concept and storyline, the story was laid out beautifully with great romance thrown in that didn't consume the storyline. the pacing was fine for me, this book is fast paced but not rushed and flows naturally. the growing love between Sitri and Maris was palpable I love their relationship from the time they met💖 I absolutely adore Sitri, He’s so sweet, caring, patient and kind🥰 a great support system for Maris after all that happened between her and her abusive ex. and Maris is such a brave journalist, she's not a whiny girl and shows her professionalism having to work in the war zone. I enjoyed this so much😆 and I'm so looking forward to read the next Prince of Hell's story (is it Caass? I can't wait to know!🤩)

If they knew that a secret war between demons and angels was curating tensions to farm souls for an endless war, would they do something to stop the violence?

What if all this time the Angels we know to spread goodness are the villains who lead humans astray, and the Demons are the good ones who try to save us? Maris, a journalist, has to reporting on the front lines of a foreign country's war, when she meets one of the Princes of Hell, Sitri. these new situations made her wonder, why a demon, want to help save so many lives in this war?

Okay. This one is my favourite - so far.
This instalment in the Prince of Hell Series is in the lead. Maris is a badass FMC and our Demon Prince Sitri is every girls dream. That winning combo keeps me hooked every time, but even s this story was ACTION PACKED!
I am so impressed at how each of these books is so unique, just like the characters, but are still able to knit together to create this gripping series.

Thank you Aella for the ARC I can’t wait to see which Demon Prince I get to fall in love with next!
