Savannah Brannon, a recent graduate of Tulane Law School, reluctantly returns home to Acadianville, Louisiana. Her ego-centered father, Robert Brannon, a wealthy attorney for the most prominent oil tycoons, has expectations Savannah will never meet. Grieving the recent loss of her mother coupled with accepting Charlee, her new stepmother, Savannah, struggles to find her way. Savannah’s best friend and attorney, Bennett Carlisle, is eager to work at Robert’s firm, encouraging Savannah to embrace being back home and work alongside him. But, his focus is quickly derailed by the flirtatious Adaleigh Shepherd, his long-time crush, who uses his friendship to her advantage.
Savannah’s melancholy demeanor is lifted when she meets the handsome yet reserved Dallas Redding, a transplant to south Louisiana and supervisor on the Golden Meadow Oil rig. Their relationship ebbs and flows as Dallas’ past and Savannah’s father drive a wedge between them. Driven by his selfish nature, Robert’s primary concern is saving his reputation. Dallas’ unrelenting attraction to Savannah and threats from Robert drive him to reveal secrets from his past to save their relationship.
Knox Bailey, a roughneck on the oil rig, becomes infatuated with Adaleigh. Trouble follows Knox as his temper begins to rear its ugly face. Adaleigh is drawn to Knox’s bad-boy demeanor and falls for him, soon entrapped by his jealous and controlling ways. Bennett shifts his focus between comforting Adaleigh as her relationship with Knox becomes more toxic and searching for a way to help Savannah cope with her father's wrath.
Time is running out.
Can Bennett salvage Savannah's happiness and save his only love, Adaleigh, from a man who might destroy her?
Relentless is a spicy, romantic suspense novel with small southern Louisiana drama. Trigger warnings include sexual content, mentions of physical and mental abuse and cursing.
4.5 ⭐️I was graciously gifted this ARC from Tracy. She is a self published author - and this is her very first book.
This is a romantic suspense novel, and with a new author I like to give readers comparisons to other things they may recognize - so they know who this book is for. So if you love romantic suspense, this would have a similar feel to authors like Catherine cowles, or Devny Perry who are popular in this space.
This is set in a small town in Louisiana on the Bayou, but the whole time I was imagining the small town in outer banks 😂. It had similar themes - like the main female character coming from a wealthy family, and having a morally gray // awful dad.
The book centers a lot around 2 different romantic relationships but there’s a thread of suspense through out…
This had a lot of interconnected relationships, and really gave that small town feel.
Then… the ending. It really pops off in the last 50 pages. The twists kept twisting until the very last page.
This was a really fun ride, and I was super impressed that this was this authors first book. This comes out in just a few days and I think you will really enjoy this one!
This book was so good that I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about it. It is filled with all kinds of different characters, some I liked some I have a strong dislike for. They all come together, though, to make an amazing, on the edge of your seat, can't put it down read. The main FMC is Savannah (who is my favorite), and she has just returned home after graduating college. She has returned to a place she doesn't want to be and a father she can't stand. She is too start working with her best friend Bennett at her father's law firm, but that is the last thing she wants. So she puts her father off by doing other things, and it's on one of her outings to a flea market that she runs into Dallas and there is an instant connection between them. Dallas is the man every woman dreams of. As their relationship goes back and forth, the story gets more and more interesting. Into the picture comes Knox, a very detestable person that starts dating Adaleigh, and that is all I can say without giving the book away. I will say if you love romance, mystery, what the crude shocker endings, you will love this book. This book made me laugh. It made me cry, and it made me want to yell at some of the characters. It is definitely in my top 10 for the year so far. A five-star read every mystery/romance lover should read.
I had so many mixed emotions while reading Relentless. I wanted to ask Savanah did you really come back for this? To just leave, to well you have to stay now. You have quite the journey following along while she tries to find her true self in an old world she came back to. Then, throw in her dad (Robert), I know we are supposed to hate him, but I think I actually love him. And you can't forget the guy best friend, a bi***, and the bad boy. So many stories are going on by themselves, yet they all connect with each other. I didn't know which way to go. I thought it was going to be one way but ended up another. And that was what I loved about this book. Tracy Daigrepont wrote a spicy, suspenseful, dramatic romance that will keep you guessing to the end. That will make you feel you are right there in Louisiana with them. Relentless is definitely a recommended read for me.
I do not give spoilers in reviews so I’ll keep this short and sweet.
READ THE BOOK!
If you love small town southern drama, this book is for you! If you love romance, this book is for you! If you get all the feels and connection reading domestic violence, this book is for you. If you need happily ever afters with the villain getting what they deserve, this book is for you! If you like the shock at the end, this book is for you!
Tracy's latest novel is an exceptional achievement, delivering a narrative brimming with dynamic characters and relentless drama from its opening pages. The intricate plot keeps readers in constant suspense, eagerly anticipating each twist and turn. Her signature portrayal of affluent Southern society—replete with its complex entanglements—is elevated to unprecedented levels in this work, surpassing even the intensity of her acclaimed Sedipar trilogy. A recurring strength in Tracy's storytelling, powerfully evident here, is her profound exploration of how wealth does not equate to contentment, revealing the often-hidden struggles of the privileged. This particular novel also introduces a compelling element of romantic intrigue, a notable addition absent in her previous works, yet seamlessly integrated without detracting from the core narrative. While her earlier books are commendable, this one stands out as a new personal favorite, captivating me from start to finish. The narrative's masterful construction includes not merely one, but a succession of ingenious plot twists that redefine expectations even as the story appears to conclude. This book is an absolute must-read.

Savannah has just graduated Law school and is back in Acadianville, Louisiana and under the watchful eye of her high powered Attorney father, Robert Brannon. He runs the town and nearly everyone in it, it’s simply his way or no way. In a town where everyone has a secret, danger is always near.
Tracy Daigrepont delivered a page turning romantic suspense that kept me guessing until the last page. Relentless is a story is grief and loss, healing and forgiveness, and ultimately learning to start new. As a Louisianan, I absolutely adores this book and the Louisiana feel you experience as a reader. The characters and character development is executed perfectly. The twists and turns kept on coming and I could not put Relentless down, it was a phenomenal read and I can’t recommend it enough.

Tracy Daigrepont has written a heartwarming book that makes you feel all emotions.
Savannah grew up in a home with two parents but only one provided the love she needed. Once her mom passed she made the decision that she would lead a worthwhile life.
She met Dallas and her world forever changed. He’s a hard-working man with a past that he doesn’t wish to share. Unfortunately, her father doesn’t think he is good enough for her but Savannah is an independent woman who makes her own decisions.
Savannah goes through many challenges as she discovers information that make her rethink her path to love.
This book is beautifully written and the character development is amazing. Lots of excitement and a bit of spice.
Savanah wants to get away from her father. He is a terrible man and she doesn’t even know all of it. She just knows she doesn’t want to work for his law firm and live under his roof. Her father has controlled everything about her life. Her best friend Bennett works at her father’s law firm. He has recently become very close to Savanah’s step mom. Savanah’s step mom is her mother’s best friend. Bennett finds out that the only reason charlee married Savanah’s dad is because she promised she would watch out for Savanah after her mom died. Now Bennett is trying to take down Savanah’s dad. The ending of this book is just mind blowing and I didn’t see it coming. I always enjoy Tracy’s books and I am so glad I get to read them.
Love, lies, and southern heat—where passion collides with danger.
This is 5-star storytelling at its finest. The author’s gift for weaving romance, suspense, and small-town drama is nothing short of masterful, painting every scene so vividly you can almost feel the Louisiana humidity and hear the whispers of scandal. The pacing is flawless, the emotions are raw, and the characters are crafted with such depth that they linger in your mind long after you’ve turned the last page. This is an irresistible read from an author who knows exactly how to keep you hooked. Bravo! I can't wait to dive into another of her amazing books.
This book was so good. If you like small town vibes, suspense, mystery, intense moments, angst, and mystery…. Then this is the book for you. I loooved all of the New Orleans culture. It brought back so many memories from my hometown. The author’s writing was beautiful and perfectly depicted the perfect combination of Louisiana culture, suspense and romance. At first, you meet several characters and have no idea how they will connect. But, boy does it come together. I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait to read more of this author’s books!
The cover drew me to the story and the characters made me continue reading. Savannah hasn’t been happy since her Mom passed away. Her Dad Robert is a head strong, not so nice, everything has to go my way guy and Savannah is tired of it. Her Dad is always trying to do something to rule over her life like he’s the king of Louisiana. No spoilers here. Read the book and let us know what you think.
This book was phenomenal! The setting was so beautiful and depicted so well! The characters were SO REAL! I even messaged the author because of how REAL it felt! It was breathtaking and so full of every emotion possible! I was happy, sad, angry, and even PACING because of the suspense! And then- holy smokes the plot twist! This is definitely a must read!
This book is amazing. The way the author intertwines the storylines is a complete masterpiece. There are so many twists and turns. I was completely invested in these characters that I was talking to them like real people. I loved some characters and others get what they deserve. One about Tracey is she’s going to give you ALL the small town drama! Five stars! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
