Rate this book
Garrett Richmond always had everything he ever wanted, including his idea of the perfect boyfriend- Ian Bennett. But when the unexpected happens and he has to leave the country, he knows he can’t take Ian with him. Even though it’s best for them both, he isn’t sure he can go through with it. Leaving Ian behind is the hardest thing he’s ever had to do.

Ian Bennett has a good life. He’s been dating the charismatic Garrett Richmond for three years now. Their life has few worries: They live in a great apartment in New York City, Garrett’s wealthy parents always funnel money their way, and they both have fulfilling jobs they are passionate about. Everything is great, until Garrett suddenly takes off for Italy and apparently doesn’t know when he’ll be back. Ian is left heartbroken and dumped on an unsuspecting individual- Garrett’s best friend, Brendan.

Brendan James has been Garrett’s best friend since their early years of high school. Garrett lures him to New York City with a great job offer, but leaves out one important detail: He has to be there for Ian to lean on when Garrett takes an unexpected trip out of the country.

When things take a turn, the boys have to figure out how to deal with the new feelings that arise….and not everyone will be overjoyed with the decisions that are eventually made.

This book had me hooked from the first page. Full of mystery, love, angst and feeling. It is well written and leaves the reader wanting more titles by this author. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to read a good love story.

Page turner from start to finish. Nice mix of romance, angst, and suspense. I would love a sequel or future titles from this author. If you enjoy male/male romance without a bunch of smut; this is an excellent choice. The characters are well drawn and not just one-dimensional. Highly recommended.
