About the author

Mark has written both fictional short stories and novels in many genres. Starting with his first laptop and progressing later through college, he continued to write stories while keeping a pocket notebook to jot down ideas for future stories.

He has found inspiration in creating for his readers, unique characters, challenging adventures, and places of exploration. Drawing from some of his own varied experiences and by adding imagination, he likes to create an immersive world for his readers.

When he is not absorbed in a novel or working on his next story he enjoys nature walks with his rescue dog, Tanner.

I want to thank the Author Mark Enlow and the publisher Book Opener Publishing for a free Amazon copy of Stand Proud and Bark: Sirius's Story from Puppy to Police K-9.

This book is great. It shows not only the Sirius's perspective of everything going on around him, but what it means when a dog is fully trained. This book shows a partial of what a dog has to do to become a police K-9 and the guts it takes.

From the time he was a puppy he had the sense to want to save people and then he saved his mother from the bear and then later on used that experience to save his new family.

This book is worth the read and it will pull at your heart strings! But it has a happy ending.

Easy read.

I enjoyed this read. It was fun seeing things through Sirius' eyes, ears & nose. I do feel this book is more of a young adult read.
