A brief collection of biographical sketches of Hugh Latimer, Katherine Willoughby, William Bridge, Hercules Collins, and John Milton, along with interactions with some of their key works and thought. This little work serves as a great introduction to key aspects of the downstream effects of the English Reformation, including the Puritan movement and early English Baptists.

In this brief book, Haykin gives four biographic sketches from the English Reformation and Puritans with a unique contribution that each figure’s life and ministry highlights. The result is a well crafted, informative, and edifying work.
