Because justice should be served—with a side of fries A Note from the Meet my sweet cats! (Yes, the real Fish and Chip are on the COVER!) We can't wait for you to join us on our mew adventure! I adopted Fish and Chip from the local shelter when they were just furry little kittens and I just love them to bits. I hope you will too! From New York Times, USA TODAY, & Wall Street Journal bestseller Addison Moore!

Cosmopolitan Magazine calls Addison’s books, "...easy, frothy fun!" Humor with a side of homicide. Includes RECIPE!

You’d think hosting a fall baking symposium would be all cinnamon swirls and Instagrammable pies. But no—someone just had to go and die in a coffin cake. After ditching my cheating ex-husband and accidentally becoming the proud owner of Huckleberry Hollow Wonderland (long story involving cats, murder, and a dollar bill), I figured I’d finally hit my stride. The rides are mostly functional, my feline mascots Fish and Chip are Instagram famous, and Detective Dexter Drake has been making my heart do loop-de-loops that put our roller coaster to shame.

This week I’m rolling out the red carpet—well, the pumpkin-spice welcome mats—for the Sweet Season Spooky Symposium, a weeklong baking event run by viral grandmas turned baking tyrants, Sugar & Sass. In exchange, they’re helping me launch our Fright & Frost Halloween merch line. Ghost-shaped mugs, glow-in-the-dark hoodies, skeleton spatulas—you name it, it’s got a price tag and probably glitter.

But when one half of Sugar & Sass turns up dead—face-first in a black velvet coffin cake—I’ve got a dead diva, a killer on the loose, and a snarky socialite trying to get me arrested. And did I mention the murder weapon came from our exclusive merch table?

Plot twist of the century? The prime suspect is Detective Dexter Drake’s ice-queen mother, who already thinks I’m about as classy as a gas station hot dog. Now she might be a murderer, which really complicates my winning over the future in-laws strategy. Nothing says family dinner awkwardness like discussing alibis over appetizers. Okay, fine so the hot detective and I are still in the shallow end of the relationship dating pool but a girl can dream. Nevertheless, his mother isn’t my biggest fan.

With a suspiciously flirty baker, a steaming pile of secrets, and a whole lot of frosting flying, I’ll need to figure out who’s behind the murder before someone ices me next.

And have I mentioned that I can read the minds of animals? Yeah, that too.

Let’s be honest—Josie’s not cracking a single case without us. We’re the brains. She’s just the opposable thumbs and the panic attacks.

And the snack dispenser. Don’t forget snacks. Speaking of which—this murder? It happens in a cake! A Coffin Cake, Fish! This is the best crime scene since the tuna truck crash of 2022.

I say we arrest the one with the pearls.

Superstar mascots, Fish and Chip, find themselves up to their furry ears in danger when another dead body turns up at the Huckleberry Hollow Theme Park. The Sweet Season Spooky Symposium has barely kicked off when Josie stumbles over a body face down in a prize winning cake. Standing over the victim, and wielding a marble rolling pin, is the uptight event coordinator with a connection to Josie’s crush, Detective Dreamboat/Drake. Plenty of people had reason to take Dilly out of commission and Josie is determined to find the culprit before they sour another sweet event. With her feline companions as backup, how can Josie fail?

Another fast paced and fun cozy mystery from Addison Moore. A crossover series with the Country Cottage mysteries, Ms. Moore expands her extensive cast of characters with some new faces. Josie, Dexter, Ree, and Georgie return with cameos from Bizzy and Jasper Wild. In addition we meet the younger generation with Josie & Dexter’s college aged children showing off their business and marketing skills. I love how Josie’s daughters defended her against their father’s petty remarks. And speaking of protective males, there’s some lovely scenes with Dexter sticking up for Josie, and Chip defending pampered poodle, Cupcake, from the feral cats. The scenes from Chip’s point of view are definitely my favorite in the book and I’m here for the interspecies romance. I’m also looking forward to the inclusion of suspect turned employee in future books. It looks like Josie’s got a new partner in crime solving.

Welcome back to Huckleberry Hollow theme park, where there are cat mascots, Fish & Chip, lots of ideas on how to improve the theme park, and of course what’s a theme park without a dead body?! Josie, the owner of Huckleberry Hollow theme park, is hosting a fall baking symposium known as the Sweet Season Spooky Symposium. Sounds like yummy fall fun – right? Well, it’s all fun and games until someone is murder with a marble rolling pin and lands in the appropriately named Peaches coffin cake.

There are three main suspects and the author keeps you guessing as to who killed the victim throughout the book, and one of those suspects is Detective Dexter Drake’s (also known as Detective Dreamboat) mom. And might I add, she’s no peach. She could freeze an already frozen ice cube. Add in Josie’s daughters, Detective Dreamboat’s daughter and son, and of course Georgia, Ree, and Fish & Chip and you have quite the adventure. Can’t forget an appearance by Josie’s ex-husband Clyde.

The commentary between Fish & Chip and the shenanigans amongst the gang just keep you laughing throughout the book.

If you love cats, cozy mysteries, and lots of laughs, this book is a must read for you. I can’t wait for Fish and Chip’s next adventure! The author is so creative when it comes to the dialogue for Fish and Chip. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!.

Book 2 of the Huckleberry Hollow Theme Park Cozy Mysteries series. For maximum enjoyment read the books in series order.

The characters remain as quirky as ever and fun and funny. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building continues to impress and fascinate. A great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

This is the second book in a new series. The setting is great! The main character, Josie, was able to purchase the Huckleberry Hollow Theme Park for one dollar from the previous owners who wanted to retire fast. The place was in dis-repair, but Josie is doing as much as she can to update all the rides and special attractions to make the park a desirable place to go for entertainment. There's also a special event going on, the Fall Baking symposium where bakers compete to be the winner. Unfortunately, there's a murder! It's up to Josie and friends Ree and Georgie, along with her cats, Fish and Chip, to solve the murder. And don't forget Detective Drake, the new man in her life. The question is, can she and her crew figure out who the murderer is before there's any other victims...

A fun second book in the Fish and Chip series. Another body dropped at Huckleberry Hollow—and of course Josie is the one to find it. This one had me suspecting several of the wrong people more than once!

Fish and Chip make the book pop, as usual, with their quips and furry humor… and continuous desire for anything food related. The new characters introduced for the festival each bring a different mix of delightful and frightful to the pages—from Savvy the southern belle and her dog, Cupcake, to Detective Drake’s frustratingly-cold mother.

The ending was satisfying and all the clues added up nicely. I can’t wait to read the next installment.

The Huckleberry Hollow Theme Park is hosting the Sweet Season Spooky Symposium ran by Sugar and Sass who is helping to launch the parks merch line. When one half of Sugar and Sass is murdered, it's up to Josie, Fish and Chip to find the killer. Out of the three main suspects, Detective Drake's mom is high on the list.
Along with the Brambleberry Bay series books, this is another that I can't put down but hate for them to end. I love the setting because it's different than most cozy mysteries. The cats are my favorite characters. How could they not be?
If you like cozies that have cats, not too easy to solve mysteries and great characters, this is the series for you.

Huckleberry Hollow Wonderland is bouncing with bakers all in competition for a cook book. Everyone expecting all the others for stealing recipes. Can you imagine a Coffin Cake? Well as a theme true to Halloween Everyone is there for the Sweet Season Spooky Symposium and Josie has her hands full, especially when one of the pairs of bakers is found dead, face first into a Coffin Cake. Now The main suspect is the Detective's mother. She doesn't like Josie to begin with and now Josie and her detective felines are out to find the murderer and save the detectives mother. Always a laugh, always something exciting on each page, you will find this a mystery you can not put down

While Josie Janglewood is keeping the Huckleberry Hollow Theme Park going and hosting a Fall Baking symposium, Fish and Chip are basking in the mascot love. That is until one half of a baking duo team ends up dead. Detective “Dreamboat” is on the case, with Josie heading up the real crime solving. Uncovering clues while running a theme park, and having her children run a spooktacular parade will take all of Josie’s time. Thankfully, she has her friends Ree and Georgie helping to find the clues along with Fish and Chip! Enjoy this the 2nd book in the Huckleberry Hollow Theme Park cozy mystery series.

I absolutely love that the author's cats are the cats on the front of the book. That said, this author is so good. I love her stories. This particular storyline hilarious - imagine the murdered person in a coffin cake! There is so much going on in this book that I went back and read it again, just to make sure I didn't miss anything. The twists and turns keep you coming back for more of the story. Such a unique background to this series, I can't wait for more in this series!.

The feline detective agency is back, and of course Josie is too, ready to solve another murder. If you enjoy cozy murder mysteries with wonderful characters, “talking” animals, plenty of banter and humor, a solid mystery, and just a hint of romance, then this book is definitely for you. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

Loving this series and I received an ARC of this one which is another mystery featuring Fish and Chip, who are so funny, as are the sleuth crew lol! There's the mother-in-law-to-be from hell for Josie to contend with as well as investigating a murder at the baking symposium. Lots of fun, laughs and the odd kiss or two - can't wait for the next.

Huckleberry Hollow's infamous theme park is hosting a fall baking symposium where old grievances are revealed. When a rolling pin is not used for its intended purpose a mystery must be solved, and Josie and furry friends are on the case. Unfortunately, the hunky detective's mother is top of her list as a suspect, leading to some awkwardness. Another charming cozy from Addison Moore.

There is never a complaint to be had when I read an A.M. book. This one is no different. The characters are enjoyable, the story is engaging, and the writing is flawless. I had a great time going on this adventure in Huckleberry Hollow with all the fantastically eccentric characters, and I look forward to reading whatever comes next.

Well done to the author!

Josie is killing it at the amusement park! Not literally…but financially! Fish and Chip are also making money left and right. I do enjoy seeing Clyde try to get Josie back and fail spectacularly, that never fails to put a smile on my face. This was a fun mystery to read!

Fish and Chip: Huckleberry Hollow Theme Park Cozy Mystery book 2

A TV baking show at the theme park, what could go wrong? Great characters and the animals are fantastic too. A murder, 3 suspects while dying to make the park successful.
