The second installment of the Wolf Queen Chronicles picks up where The Magicless Mage left off. Winter is out for revenge and determined to destroy those who've hurt her, but Westley needs her help this time around.
Please note, there are very dark and disturbing themes integrated. Check all trigger warnings to be sure this story is the right fit for you.
A crown to break. Higher stakes. Love twisted by fate.
The year is 2618. Winter has a plan: avenge her broken heart and fix Caldwell Archives. There’s one problem—she’s still in the future and her brothers are being extra protective. Using Kaden like a pawn, she navigates her way back to the past. Disposing of him when she’s done will be cathartic. The Witch Queen is next on her hit list, but first, the library will require her expertise. Vampires are attacking so books need reordering and flipping. There’s no time for distractions, especially a six-five white-haired huffing one. Winter has tomes and a heart to protect.
The year is 1918. Westley has lost all motivation. He drinks whiskey, completes a chore, and drinks some more. He is strong, not invincible. Winter, his true mate, was sucked up by fate. Mel hates him. Xavier … dead. To keep his new title—alpha of the Sterling and Hampden Packs—there will be a formal hierarchy battle. Xavier’s wolves are competing in rounds while he cracks open another bottle, waiting to fight. Will Westley win? Did it matter when Mel loathes him and Winter’s heart isn't his? Perhaps the Witch Queen, the nightmare that walks, will see to his death first.

Pre-read comments : I’ve been so delayed in reading my ARC due to my health fluctuating really badly 😭 but I’m slowly getting through it and I ALREADY LOVE IT SO SO SO MUCH!!! I hadn’t realized HOW MUCH I missed this world and its characters! It’s so unique & fresh & creative🥹🔥♥️!!!
-
HAPPY RELEASE DAY B. L. Lewis 🥹♥️
-
Can’t wait to devour this after how much I ADORED both book 1 *The Magicless Mage* and the prequel *Lies of the Wicked* 👹 If you haven’t read those two yet WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR YOU FOOLS??!
This continued right where we left off in The Magicless Mage and dove right into action. There really wasn’t time to get bored. Straight into the chaos we went!
Safe to say, though, every character pissed me off at one point or another, and not in a bad way 🤣 just in a “I want to slap the back of their head” way. A “sort out your feelings” way.
I LOVE how dominant Winter is. In AND out of the bedroom 😮💨 She’s so hot, jeeeeze I’m jealous of these men.
And then in walks another man ?! Like wow okay I see youuuuu LETS GOOOOOOOO
Also the end? I was angry. And then fanning myself. And then angry and then fanning myself. And now I’m angry again.
Stupid cliffhangers.
Thank you so much to B.L. and team for allowing me to read an advanced copy of The Wondrous Wolf !
Ever since reading the Magicless Mage, I have been following every breadcrumb, every post, and every timeline to make sure I got to read The Wolf Queen.
Winter had me wrapped around her sharp little pinky finger already but this book took it to another level. The depth of her character really went so much deeper in the book.
To say I felt things would be an understatement. Of course, the kink scenes and the liberal amount of spice in this book had me reacting in ways you can imagine but there are certain scenes, with no sex at all that had my heart racing, my skin burning, and my mind racing.
B.L. Lewis upped her game in this book and ramped up her talent with each word. The fairy tale and pop culture easter eggs were perfectly woven into the story, the puns were ridiculous and smooth, and the banter and flirting were exceptional.
As in The Mageless Mage, there were moments of "Something here does not seem right" and I was still so caught up in the story, she managed to surprise me anyway.
Made me think, even when we hold the leash, are we ever really in control?
Flying straight on in Winter's story with no break, you are met with an even fiery, sassy version of Winter. She is done being manipulated, used and controlled. This time, she is in the game but not only that - she controls it. Determined to continue protecting the Caldwell Archives and paving the way to her revenge, she is determined to find her way back in time. Back to her West, her wolf. Denying all the feelings and the pull while coming to terms with her new reality, she remains as focused as ever. Finally achieving and masterminding the plan that thrusts her back in time - she is met with a different, broken West. She was unaware of the extent and damage done to his heart that fateful night and her returning to her time was the final blow - knocking him to his knees and weak, lifeless but alive. With a plan to throw off the looting of the library, and manage to bring West back from his downward spiral, Winter is more than ready to end the cruelty and reign of the Queen. Unable to operate without her team, she uses her friendships to aid in her plan when she hears that the packs are at a standstill and a champion must be crowned again. West in no state to fight, Winter weasels her way back into his life, commanding as ever yet gebtle and uproots it, throwing him to his ass with a cold splash of reality. Bringing him back and realizing there's no more denying their chemistry, their destiny - she does what she has always done. Wall off her heart. Despite the readiness that West exudes, nothing prepared Winter for the snake lingering in her path, one hidden well. Forced to kneel and give in at the hands of the Queen, a bargain is struck but Winter has her own plan in mind - she's not going down without a fight and is more determined than ever to win. As a series of events unfold, thwarting Winters plan, she is forced to improvise putting more on the line than she bargained for - almost losing everything. Almost. Accepting what the winds have spoken to her and the need to protect her own testing her heart and restraint; she becomes fire and ice, danger and lethality with precision. Landing the final blow. Leaving a mess to clean up and despite the steps in her plan being thrown into chaos and out of order - she reigns stronger and more resilient.. this time at the mercy and help of her fate and her mate. But just as things begin to regain normalcy another rock is thrown in her path, one too big to ignore and one that can't be overlooked. The newest revelations have her seething and feeling trapped. What will Winter do? She is finally learning to accept who she is but how can she continue that path when this blow lands harder than expected and a follow up even more unexpected, something she isn't ready for lands in her lap - now she has more choices, more to lose but could it be more to gain? The line is blurred and she isn't able to see past the new challenges that lay ahead - is the bigger picture worth the cost? Is she ready to take on more than the simplicity of being a mage/wolf? Can she rise to the expectations and duty laid before her?
MASSIVE thanks to B.L Lewis for once again bringing such joy in this series and allowing me to read the continuation of The Wolf Queen Chronicles!
I read this in a manner of hours!! That’s how badly I couldn’t put this book down. I had to know what was going to happen next.
Winter and Westley’s relationship goes deeper and explores all the emotions and trauma that they have both been through. I love that we get to see a bit more of Winter’s wicked and dark side. She is definitely a dom and I love seeing her use her Alpha voice.
Westley shows his softer side and we can see he’s grown a lot emotionally. He recognizes the hurt he has caused and is trying to change. He is so in love with Winter that I can feel the intensity through the pages!! Lucky girl haha.
Also can we talk about the new characters introduced?! Let’s start with Dahlia! She seems to have the same fire as our girl Winter. I can’t wait to learn more about Dahlia and what her decision will be in the next book.
Everett!! Ok I need some fan art of this man, because the way he was described had me blushing. I love his banter with Winter. It feels easy and seamless. Even if he gets under her skin a bit. But we all know she secretly likes it haha.
This book was fast paced and made me feel all the emotions. I went from being confused, to excited, to mad, to happy, to sad, and more!! I can’t wait for the next one and will definitely be reading it as soon as I can!
4.5 stars !!!! Loved jumping right back in to winters story were we left off and I appreciate the little recap we got in the beginning. The plot takes a crazy turn in the best way. I’m obsessed with winter and I can’t tell if I want to be her or be with her 🥵🥵 I need more immediately and CANNOT wait for the 3rd book 😩😩
If you need a new unhinged series to obsess over, I have the books for you!
In book two of The Wolf Queen Chronicles, B. L. Lewis turns up the heat with higher stakes, deeper romance, and beautiful character growth.
Winter’s a woman who has been lied to, manipulated, and hurt so deeply she see’s red. She’s brave, bold, and hungry for revenge.
B.L. took a big bottle of yearning and poured it into the hearts of our main characters. You’re going to feel every emotion while reading bestie, so buckle up!
You couldn’t pry this book from my hands while reading! The Wondrous Wolf was the perfect continuation of Winter and West's story. I am going to be impatiently waiting for book 3.
What. A. Time! And what a follow-up to The Magicless Mage. If you thought things couldn’t get more chaotic and unhinged in book two, you were heckin wrong. Winter has a plan to fix the archives and kill the queen. She’s got no time for nonsense and she’s NOT messing around. Especially not with him. Westley has to fight for his title, but following the aftermath of book one, he’s distraught and turns to his dear old friend whiskey to heal his soul.
Although I didn’t feel as strong about the plot of this book, it felt so familiar and like I was greeting an old friend. Winter was her usual, sassy self and West…broody as could be. It was super hard to witness his character arc because the journey wasn’t always a simple one, but he did a LOT of growth throughout the book imo. One way I can tell a book is going to be good is if I have visceral reactions about characters or if I can vividly picture what’s happening. B.L.Lewis does these things so well because BOTH happened. Another thing I loved were the fun references sprinkled throughout. I caught Twilight, TTPD (but maybe I’m just as unhinged as this book - complimentary), ET, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty to name a few.
I definitely recommend this book if you liked the first one. It’s a little different in some ways, but still as insane. Definitely check the trigger warnings for this one bc there is some subject matter that some might find dark or uncomfortable.
I’d like to say thank you to B.L. Lewis for an e-ARC and physical ARC of this book! All opinions and thoughts are my own!
This book grabbed me in a chokehold and wrapped its chaos around my heart and gave me a 5 star plus crazy good time! Putting this book down to sleep was actual torture because the way I needed to inhale every single world was like nothing else.
Westley is everything I want and need in an alpha daddy. He is tortured and broken, deep in his pity party thinking he will never see Winter again and PURE ANIMAL. Meanwhile Winter is living her best revenge arc life with Kaden and the Queen firmly in her sights. Don't worry she has another plan stepped out and phase 6 is my favourite !
This sequel to The Magicless Mage is equally as unhinged, and the plot is progressed artfully. The pacing for me was perfect and action packed. Something funny or shocking or important to character development was always happening. Winter is still delulu but in a way that I related to on such a personal level. She is me in my 20s thinking I could do anything on a wild night out and there wouldn't be consequences. Mags (Magdalene) was a standout side character, still maintaining the library but providing some snark towards Winter that had me bursting out laughing.
For the avid B.L. Lewis fan, she rewards us with many hidden easter eggs, odes to the previous books. A favourite of mine was "One Spicy Dream for the birthday girl" because we know she is always dreaming of Westley.
The spice is this book is delicious and so well done. Winter is Alpha mommy with her soft Femdom side coming out and the men in her life absolutely cannot resist! The Wind is still bringing the whispers of fate, spelling out messages in alphabet soup. We are also rewarded with Everett, who has god tier flirting and banter with Winter and is Westley's omega. Everett is such a tease and you will absolutely be dying from the anticipation!! He's the icing on the omegaverse cake. Fans of West and Winter are also rewarded with Winter's tumbling skills and an epic that we have desperately been waiting for.
What I love about this series is all the references to Disney characters. There was an Ariel moment where Winter finds her Alpha voice against the villain of this book, Fang, who is pretty much actually Scar from the Lion King reimagined as a werewolf. I was all there for the unhinged super villain vibes.
If you loved Book 1 in the Wolf Queen Chronicles, you will be in heaven reading this sequel. It ticked every box for me and I have to say I am even more obsessed with Winter and Westley and the way I now need Book 3 is criminal!
They just so happened to be two very broken pieces that fit perfectly together. When her jagged heart beat alongside his, they became one".
O.M.F.G. AND I thought the first one was the best thing EVER. This one was everything and more. Winter, the fmc, has the best snarky attitude and blows all other FMCs out of the water for likability. I LOVE her. I realllllly flippin' love Westley. And Everett. Why was this so gooood? I literally can't go on with my life right now. I need more. B.L. Lewis is a clever genius and her storytelling AND writing is absolutely perfection. I lived and breathed inside these pages. The flow and pacing had me moving through it as fast as my eyes could dart down the pages, as fast as my fingers could flip to new pages. I devoured it. I didn't want it to end, but I am so satisfied with how it ended and everything this book gave me. Seriously, one of the best authors of our time. Obsessed is putting it delicately, because I am in love with these books. (And thoroughly obsessed)
This has the same unhinged wickedness of the first with even more emotional turmoil and angst. I thought the blossoming why choose was fire. I can't even wait to see where this goes.
The addiction rep was also another fabulously done trope and moved me in ways I can't even explain. The emotions HIT all around in this novel.
I can't even tell you my favorite scene, but it does lend into a who did this to you. Gahhhhh!!!
What have you done to me, B.L Lewis?? I'm wrecked in the best way.
I'm not necessarily a spice reader, but the buildup and tension had me. The dynamics between Winter and Westley were truly everything. I can't recommend this series enough. It will shatter your soul and you'll be 1000% in for it. It was a ride.
Wondrous Wolf by B.L. Lewis The Wolf Queen Chronicles book 2 Releases 12/3!
Thank you to B.L. Lewis for entrusting me with an early copy!
Dedication: To every reader who's required claws to get their point across. Keep them sharp.
Dark romantasy Multiple POV, dark and unhinged, magical library with kick*ss librarian FMC (who is also an alpha😉), grumpy alpha MMC, we meet the intriguing blood bonded second of the MMC, flawed (and morally grey) characters, banter, slow burn, feminine rage, enemies to lovers, blossoming why choose, 🐝dsm elements, humans/werewolves/mages/vampires, time travel, betrayal, super cute werewolf pups, seriously evil mage queen, he falls first, fated mates, revenge, yearning, queer normative, mystery lineage, explicit spice This book is darker than the first - please, please take note of the content warnings!
This book picks up shortly after book 1. Winter has a revenge plan and is working on it, though her protective brothers are obstacles. Westley is drowning his sorrows essentially waiting for the challenge for his leadership that will likely take his life. While Winter isn't convinced she can love again, she can't have that happen. Because the Library needs the wolves protection. Not because she can't live without him… right?
Woah. I finished book one (release date 10/3) and was feeling SO LUCKY that I had book 2 already to jump into… but now I need book 3! There are so many things up in the air that I need answers to! I'm not sad about the hints of a why choose to come, and am excited to see more of Everett next book! Also really enjoyed Winter's brothers! We don't get to see much of them, but I'm hoping for more time with them later! I enjoyed watching Winter and Westley working through so much and being scared but finally making the leap! I can't wait see them again in book 3!
The Wondrous Wolf took the story from book one, raised the stakes, cranked up the heat, and tied together the slow burn romance we’ve been waiting for. This book had a lot of surprises, and literal jaw dropping scenes that had be glued to my kindle. On top of that - this book was much spicier than the first one.
I was so happy to see a “to be continued” written at the end, because there is obviously so much story left untold. I need to know what happens/ed to Dahlia, because I found her storyline new and very intriguing. Also the cliffhanger at the end signaled there may be so much more to this series that I can’t wait for!
Also - I know she’s the villain, but I love the queen in both this book and the first one. Her character is so awful that you hate her but at the same time every time I picked up a chapter she was written in I knew I wouldn’t be able to look away!
I would recommend this series so far to any romantasy readers looking for the next series they can’t walk away from. The whole wolf/wizard thing is actually so out of my normal realm of reading but I was quickly turned into a huge fan.
It took me a minute to get into book one of this series, but I was immediately hooked with the sequel. I flew through it! Of course with any sequel, there is not as much world building to get through and a lot more character development to explore! This made me truly care about the characters, connect with them, and be fully invested in their futures. Westley showed more of his sensitive side to Winter, while still maintaining his “who did this to you” energy. Winter grows leaps and bounds from book one and though confidence has never been her problem, she learns more about who she is, and that being vulnerable and honest is not always a weakness. I also loved how some of the tropes that began to develop in book one began to fully blossom and be explored; such as enemies becoming lovers, the true mate bond being explored, and of course much more yearning. I don’t want to say much about the plot because it directly stems from the events in book one. But I am very excited to read the next book when it comes out!
Favorite Quotes: “Winter had never slept in the same bed as a bear before. Plot twist: she liked it.”
“Someone like him wasn’t allowed to waltz into her life, only to die. He wrapped him around her. “Yes.” It is.”
“No, no,” she purred, flicking her gaze between her legs. “Here.” She used her wand to point to her cl*t. His d*ck twitched as he narrowed in on her p*$$y. “Do you understand that this is a privilege you’ve not yet earned?” PERIOD QUEEN.
“Winter grabbed the queens throat and whispered. ‘Respectfully, he is mine,’then countered her threat with a hard kiss.”
My thoughts: Winter surprises me at every turn and I love it in the best way possible. I’m obsessed, and a little in love with her if I’m honest lol. Much like the Wicked Queen, Winter’s personality attracts me and makes me want to learn more about her every time we come in contact on page. I really enjoy the time travel in this book. I enjoyed that she spend a very good amount of time in the past and developed deep and genuine relationships while there. I felt like this really increased the depth of the conflict Winter felt and in turn I felt through the book. Honestly this is becoming one of my favorite series. I just feel like B. L. Lewis put little bit of something special in these pages. The depth of the conversations of main characters have is real, it’s painful, and it’s healing. This book reignited my love for werewolf books.
Loved this just as much if not more as the first! Could not put this down. The plot has thickened as well as the romance. It was fast paced and made me feel all the emotions. I love the two main characters, winter and west, and their growth and healing throughout the story. All the tension and build up and yearning made the slow burn worth the wait. The spice was perfect. I really enjoy the writing and all the humor mixed in is one of my favorite aspects of this book. The addiction rep was well done and appreciated. I can’t wait for the next book to see where the story goes and how this prophecy comes into play!
the fact that i devoured this 400+ page book in one day should be enough convincing to pick it up 😂
i absolutely love this world. winter and wesley are EVERYTHING and their story is so painful, yet so beautiful it’s hard to step away from it. everything they went through from book one to the end of book two was absolute chaos and it’s not even over yet. THE ENDING!? i need more. now.
i cannot wait for more from this series and more from this author in general. the writing is so easy to follow and the world building is done so well, it feels like you’re immersed in the story right alongside the characters.
thank you so much for the arc! i will be (im)patiently waiting for book 3!!😩🖤
I loved the FMC and MMC and their whole vibe and if this turns into a why-choose, I’m absolutely on board! But the depth just wasn’t there in my opinion. The plot moved way too fast, characters popped in with no build, and some twists came so out of left field I had whiplash.
Still, the emotional moments hit, and I can see the potential. Not a love, but definitely not a deal-breaker. I still love these character and I’ll keep going and just hope the next book slows down enough to really let the story shine.
**I received this eARC from the author B. L. Lewis. Thank you for this opportunity! All opinions are my own and I am leaving this review voluntarily. **
Thank you to B.L Lewis for a copy of this story! I was so excited to get into this. So much happened. Things were revealed. More fairytale elements! I love how Winter and West are each other’s anchors. They truly belong together. I love getting to know each of the characters better. Especially Winter. She has so much mystery about her. I recommend to people who like fantasy, spice, and danger. Excited for the next story!
-mysterious origins -dangerous battles -fantasy/fairytale elements (mirror, wizard of oz) -spice -blossoming why choose -prophecy -fated mates
This was such a delight to read! I swear I could not stop cackling my way through the pages. Just like book one, the banter and razor-sharp wit had me grinning nonstop. Humor in this genre isn’t always easy to pull off, but when it lands, it really lands!
Winter, you chaotic queen. Her sarcasm and one-liners had me laughing every chapter. She’s bold, outrageous, and impossible not to love—but what made her stand out here was finally seeing her walls come down. That mix of hilarity and raw vulnerability made her journey so relatable and so rewarding.
And then there’s West—our grumpy cinnamon roll with a heart of gold. Watching him rise from despair, owning his imperfections, and finding the strength to fight for the people he loves made me root for him even harder. He’s proof that resilience and tenderness can coexist beautifully.
Overall, this book was full of joy, heart, and laugh-out-loud moments balanced with just enough emotional depth. I can’t wait to see where book three takes us!
After reading “the Magicless Mage” I was HOPING I’d get to ARC read “the Wondrous Wolf”, and boy were my expectations lived up to! I loved the checklist at the beginning of what Winter needed to complete, it really made you watch and keep track of the plot and how things would happen— but of course things still came as surprises and with extra baggage! I read this book in about a day, I was always wanting to see what happened next. I am glad in this book we were able to see Winter and Wests relationship develop more, definitely a slow burn in that sense, but a big pay off. Glad to see other characters and their rolls continue, like Mellie and Mags. Super intrigued to see the ending and what things may have meant for Winters moms journal👀… definitely a book 3 moment… has to be!! Love this couple, love the action, slow of the book is great, writing style is superb, and the spice is delicious! Thank you B.L. Lewis!
5 stars ⭐️, 3 peppers 🌶️
Slow Burn… like slowwww Soft BDSM Touch her and 💀 Fated Mates Alpha Mommy x Alpha Daddy Slutty Yearning Biting/Claiming All the magic
The Wondrous Wolf is the sequel to the dark and twisted Wizard of Oz retelling, The Magicless Mage. After discovering her truth in the last book, Winter is sent back to her timeline in the future. She devises a plan to heal her heart and take down those who have wronged her and the one she cares about the most. Deceiving her ex-betrothed, she lands back in the past ready to take action to save the Archives and kill the Wicked Witch Queen. In order for this to work, Winter really needs West, who in the time she was gone has let grief consume him. Winter has the world on her shoulders and an unraveling prophecy playing with her fate.
Winter, the FMC, is still charismatic and easily relatable as she was in the beginning. She is wickedly cunning, and not to be underestimated. She truly shines with her knowledge and quick quips, easing tensions while playing right into politics. She has gained strength since book one and it really drives her ability to make an entertaining impact in this sequel.
Westley, the MMC, is still a grumpy cinnamon role alpha, but he is finally starting to melt, with Winter’s help. We see him battling grief and alcohol addiction, which Winter is determined to save him from.
Vengeance, magical library protection, a wolf hierarchy battle, the demise of an evil Witch Queen, and an unraveling prophecy are the main plot points. We see a fast, action packed storyline with spicy BDSM themes throughout (Hello, chapters 41 & 42, I’m panting over here)!
The Wondrous Wolf captivated me and had me staying up until 5am to finish. This is certainty one of those series that the books get better and better as the story progresses. I once again can’t wait to continue reading about Winter and West’s journey in the next book!
I loved the first book. And personally speaking, I love the author. It’s been such an honor to be a part of her street team and ARC readers. I cannot WAIT to see where the series continues from here! I just, didn’t love it more than the first.
I loved the FMC and MMC and their entire vibe. And hello, are we approaching a why choose situation? I’m on board.
The parts that fell flat for me was the depth. I felt like I was being talked to a lot and the lack of build up for the plot made it very difficult for me to track. There were characters introduced where I felt no connection with because there just wasn’t enough build up and there were plot points thrown in that completely came out of left field that made me whiplashed in understanding where the story was going.
Anyways - was it a deal breaker and a series ender for me? No. I definitely plan on reading the next installment. But I do hope the author continues to grow in her writing and confidence. Because I feel like there’s a TON of opportunity here.
Thank you so much to the author for providing me an ARC copy of this book. It was an honor to read.
This book was an absolute RIDE!!! Leaves off right where The Magicless Mage ended, we even get a little recap before the books starts but omg let me just say IM OBSESSED!! My girl absolutely crushed this book, she ate and left no crumbs. The growth Winter and West have is so good! 🥺There’s so much more communication, understanding, and emotions felt. Each chapter leaves you wanting to keep reading wanting to see how the story progresses. My jaw dropped about 5 times in this book. And the tension and stakes were SO HIGH. But i loved every minute of the story, the banter was SO FREAKIN GOOD. I was giggling and kicking my feet in so many chapters. I all about highlighted every page on my kindle. This book truly felt like I was watching a movie, I felt like I was in the story. 🤩Completely enraptured, because cmon, who doesn’t love witches, werewolves, prophecies, and omegaverse with no omega 🤭😏 So thrilled to have been an early reader on this book and the first one🫶Truly two of my favorite reads this year!
Picking up right after that jaw-dropping cliffhanger, The Wondrous Wolf dives back into Winter’s world with a vengeance. This book cranks up the heat—grab some popcorn, a drink, and settle in, because you will binge this in one sitting. The spice is real 🔥, with some steamy car wash and wave pool action that’ll have you begging for more (iykyk 😏). Beyond the romance, book two deepens the plot, offering satisfying “duh” moments that connect back to the first book. Side characters also get more depth, hinting at potential spin-offs I’m already dying for. But beware—another cliffhanger had me tossing my popcorn (don’t worry, my pup cleaned it up, no kernels wasted).
Why You’ll Love This Series If you’re into magic, witches, mages, vampires, wolves, libraries, and a slow-burn romance with a side of spice, this series is for you. There’s also some extra magic sprinkled in that I won’t spoil, but it’s chef’s kiss perfection.
I thought the first book was phenomenal but this one was way better in my opinion I felt like the world and everything within it was stronger and the emotions were stronger.
And west and winter ahhhh my Shayla’s they were everything in this book and more, honestly their chemistry is AHHHHHHH!!!
And the ending GIRLLL I CRIED NO JOKE THERE!!! The major plot twist and everything yeah I was done for and that is what you call GENIUS MARKETING THERE!!!!
I need the rest of the series asap like I need to know what happens next like this was everything and more so I’m so excited to see where else BL LEWIS takes us cause I’m either gonna cry or something cause ahhhh thank you for letting me be apart of this opportunity I love west and winter so much and I love your writing so thank you for everything!!!
My favorite part is that it left off where book one left off and I’m like YESSSSSSS!!!! I devoured this within a day cause once you read you’ll understand.
I was so excited to start the part two of The Wolf Queen Chronicles! I couldn’t wait to continue with West & Winters story. I was so fortunate to receive an ARC copy.
They had wonderful character development like I’d hoped for! I didn’t expect the sort of twist with West’s 2nd Everette but I also didn’t dislike it either. It was nice to see Winter come in to her feelings and accept the truth about her and West. I love that the wind can help guide.
I’m also thankful the Witch Queen is gone. She’s a character you love to hate. There were times I caught myself liking her character and immediately remembering why I also hated her. I’m not sad to see her go!
I liked Kaden coming back and revealing that in every time plane Winter and West still find each other. Not what he wanted obviously but still endearing nonetheless!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
It was so very lucky to get an early early copy of this book! I absolutely devoured the Magicless Mage and the Wondrous Wolf was no different! It’s currently 2 am as I’m writing this review as I just could not put this one down for literally anything!
This is book two of the Wolf Queen Chronicles and to say that my emotions were all over the place was and is an understatement! You will feel highs, lows, cry your eyes out, be shocked, get stuck giggling, and be pissed off all throughout this read! This one is divided into multiple parts and each part really has its own set tone!
Book two does touch on some very serious topics so I would check content warnings! This story will chew you up, spit you out, and try to help put the pieces of you back together! I absolutely need the next book in my hands ASAP!!
This is a perfect read for anyone who loves a good slow burn, shifter romance, with an amazing plot and cast of characters! Oh!! And time travel of course! This is a book with Soft BDSM, alpha mommy/daddy, found family (my favorite trope), revenge and betrayal, prophecies, and so much more!
Fall into this wonderfully twisted continuation of The Magicless Mage with twists and turns that will leave you breathless!
Well she did it again! I once again had the honor of getting a ARC of this book and holy moly!!!
I finished it AGAIN in under 24 hours! I only put it down to sleep and work…
The angsty build up from book one through book two YES PLEASE!! And the pay off was more than worth it!! West and Winn have my heart 100% then you throw in Everett and it makes it even more perfect!!
I love this story just as much if not more than the first book. It was beautifully written and the storytelling was so good that I honestly felt like I was right there with them!! I was screaming, crying, laughing, and on the edge on my seat (almost literally) this entire book!!
