Madlove was 190 pages of chaos, carnage, tension and so much fun. Full of twists and turns, the atmosphere Ash created had me utterly absorbed. I absolutely loved every single second with these characters.
Aurora and Judas were so toxic, wild and unhinged, that put us readers through the ringer wondering what they would do next! I loved reading their story, I didn't want it to end!
That ending though 👀👀👀
If you want a fun, dark, chaotic read, with some serious Joker and Harley Quinn vibes this is definitely one to pick up next!

So I revived this as an ARC from Ashley & I just wanted to say thank you so much for the opportunity. I love your writing & you. You worked so hard on this story and I want you to receive the love you deserve.
⚠️Please check the trigger warnings for this book. It is one of the darkest books I’ve read. As much as I did like some parts there were some things that did trigger me. So as always take that seriously & remember your mental health is important⚠️
I thought that this was the perfect retelling of Harley & The Joker. Which just so happens to be my favourite. The twists you put into the story was perfect. This was action packed with absolutely debauchery, unhinged behaviour, toxicity, dark psychotic and the wildest romance I’ve read. I did like our FMC she was smart & string but also so weak when it came to our MMC. Our MMC was DARK DARK!! He’s an absolute psychopath on a mission.
With that being said even though I did like our characters & plot. I personally couldn’t get past a few things in the story for me to love it as much as I wanted to. This is not on the author at all she did a great job at listing everything very clearly. I have zero triggers & for some reason the 2 things I’ll list below caught me off guard, and then I couldn’t stop thinking about them.
Again Ashley deserves all the love & support for this release. She’s literally the sweetest person ever. So if you love a Dr. X Patient Harley & Joker retelling with a spin, and you want to take a wild ride into the toxic relationship of these two then this is your book.

Ooh she dark dark 🤭 I loved how unhinged this one was thou. So dark so delicious. It was so fun seeing the fmc let go and develop and change into who she was really meant to be and Judas good gosh man he is certifiably psycho and I am here for it. Wasn’t a huge fan of the animal stuff um just as someone who has fur babies but I knew what I was getting into and I do think it fit with the story and fit with the mmc and how crazy he truly is. I would have loved more of his background cause I thought the glimpses that we saw were so interesting that his story would have been so good especially seeing him darkness come out but I think this one was really focused on her corruption which was still really enjoyable. If you’re looking for that Harlequinn + Joker unhinged no fucks given choas and darkness then this one is perfect. That ending thou oh my.. I was not expecting that at all. That cliffhanger… INSANE. In terms of spice, it was dark and descriptive but not super super frequent, a lot happens in the background as opposed to being the heart of the story. It’s probably about a 3/5 for spice. Overall, I really enjoyed it. The chaos, the darkness, the unhinged plot and characters. Fantastic. I’m always the one screaming for the fmcs to get corrupted by the mmcs in like mafia romances and such and this one THIS ONE ! DELIVERS !! It’s a 4.5/5 for me and I would definitely recommend it to any who love the dark and unhinged romances.

That ending! What?! 😳 I also don't think I'll ever look at helium the same way ever again.
I've always craved a deeper insight into the Joker and Harley Quinn. And Ashley Dark has delivered! The references and details were well thought out and executed beautifully.
Whilst in keeping with our expectations of a Joker and Harley retelling, Ashley's creativity shone through, thus providing a good, enjoyable story.
Judas Madlove has been leading his team of misfits, whilst terrorising Aldem City. That is until he's incarcerated in the local asylum, where he meets aurora.
Aurora has been tasked with analysing Judas - only Judas .. but what begins as strictly work, fast develops into a wild, unhinged experience with a twist (or two) you won't see coming - I certainly didn't.
Ashley delivers a well-balanced plot meets spice - and the spice was perfection 👌🏼 especially chapter 15 😏. I particularly enjoyed the accurate cross references of character traits we know and love.
"Oh, my sweet Peaches, you're just as unstable as me,"
If you're a Joker and harley fan, i promise this is a book that will scratch that itch.
I would recommend going in as blind as you can and be prepared for a jaw-dropping ending.

This book, had me by the throat from the first few chapters. I was instantly gripped with Judas & Aurora, it was fast paced, spicey in all the right places. The tension was perfection….
Judas’ no fucks given attitude was a breath of fresh air and he had me howling. That man… YUM. Daddy status for sureee. 🧎🏻♀️Honestly, he had some of the best one liners. And the banter between them was just amazing.
“I’m going to murder this beautiful pussy of yours.”
Aurora, bloomed into her own, and what a pair they created together. Couple goals.
Judas Madlove is the most deranged and unhinged psychotic sociopath I have ever known. Yet I have fallen utterly and categorically into his orbit. ☁️

It was dark AF, unhinged to the max & did I have the absolute best time?! FUCK YES I did. I read the entire thing in about 24 hours, I couldn’t put it down. It was addictive & I had to keep going.

This book had me hooked from the very start. It was such an amazing unhinged read that sucked me into the world of Judas and Aurora.
Judas omg damn he is just 🥵🥵🥵. I absolutely loved his unhinged bad ass side of him. Judas is incredibly charismatic, but don't fall for his charm. It's lethal.

Literally speechless. I do not even know where to start.
This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning and would not let go! It absolutely gives off Harley Quinn and Joker vibes with a nice little twist to it and I loved it.
Judas is unstable. lol. But in the best way possible. It was so interesting to see the switch flip for the doctor and how everything changed.
The banter, the tension, the chaos, the adrenaline, the emotion, the unrealness of some of it was just perfection. I will definitely be checking out anything else this author releases!

You better buckle up and prepare for a wild ride! As a Joker and Harley Quinn inspired story, Madlove is dark, delicious and bat-$ht crazy.... you will all fall in love with Judas and Aurora like I did.
It's absolutely nuts in the best way, Judas will pick chaos and mayhem every time. His charisma will lure you in and you will fall utterly under his spell. His one liners always had me smiling and I know he's not a good man at all but I fully fell for him. Also, he has a purple Ferarri so... I'm into it.
Aurora starts off the meek and quiet Doctor until she meets her new patient. Then she blooms into the badass who can match Judas' brand of toxic obsession.
And the ending.... !!!!!!!
You get no rest this one... action packed, adrenaline fueled, chaos, banter and emotion... I 100% recommend reading the TWs but if you decide to give this a go you will have the best time! Also the playlist is "chef kiss"

Ashley Dark shoves us into the mind of Judas Madlove, a psychotic mafia boss, and the only person who could ever match his crazy, Dr. Aurora Bonesteele.
It was such a fun ride to watch Rory's descent into madness. Their craziness was addictive and I found myself giggling with them.
The plot twists caught me by surprise, I wasn't expecting this novella to be this unpredictable. The ending had me turning pages left and right to make sure I read that right!

This was deliciously dark and disturbed Joker and Harley Quinn retelling. Judas Madlove is arrested and sent to Cove Asylum. Dr. Aurora Bonesteele is his appointed psychiatrist who is told to discover everything she can about him. Their relationship starts out as professional, but soon, Madlove realises he wants Aurora and can use her to his advantage. Aurora is falling for Judas' charm and charisma. I loved the relationship dynamic between these two. I loved that Aurora embraced her dark and vindictive side. Theirs was an all-consuming love affair.

This was wild, messy, and absolutely addictive. Judas Madlove is every bit the unhinged, Joker-coded villain—obsessive, feral, and impossible to ignore. Aurora knows better, but the doctor/patient pull between them is magnetic and chaotic.
The relationship is toxic, bloody, and full of betrayal, but that’s exactly what made it work for me. The obsession, the mind games, and the way danger and desire are intertwined kept me turning pages late into the night.
If you’re into pitch-black romance where red flags double as foreplay, you’ll devour this.

This is a Joker & Harley Quinn retelling and it was so good! Judas is throwed off his rocker, a bit psychotic, unhinged, gives no “yucks”, but you so easily fall in love with him and watching Aurora unfold and bloom before us in this read was done so well!
This had me in a chokehold the entire time i was reading it. Plots there, flows nicely, very enjoyable.

I loved reading her debut novel, (Loyalties & Longings) so I couldn't wait for Ashley Dark to write another novel. This one ticked all the boxes again. This is my favourite novel.

I have no words for how unhinged and absolutely addictive this story is. A Harley Quinn x Joker retelling, I was hooked from the first line. With a morally black MMC and a fierce FMC, this dark AF romance has lived rent free in my head since the day I picked it up.
