Living life one day at a time with no roots holding her down, Kerry Winter isn't too put out when she loses her security job. Shrugging it off, she hunts for a new place of employment. Landing an interview for a bouncer position at a roadhouse called Rogue, Kerry packs up her life and makes the long journey to the other side of the province. Kerry's low spirits perk up the moment she meets her potential new boss, Dylan. Blue eyes as deep as Lake Superior and full of promises, Kerry senses a kinship in the rugged woman and suddenly, a brighter horizon puts hope in her lost and lonely heart.
A rural lesbian erotica that promises fiery heat encompassed in the aspects of life we all yearn for--acceptance, love, and a place to call home.
The Kitten series will always remain my shining star. Rae and her family is what got me into writing and what's kept me going. As I venture off towards new characters and storylines, one thing that will stay the same is the butch/femme dynamic. I have even dabbled with butch/soft butch non-binary characters. I love masculine women and everything about them, from their charm, chivalry, style and everything else in between.
This past spring I happily signed a contract with Painted Hearts Publishing for my new book, A Jade's Diamond, that will be released in the new year. I hope to continue working with the lgbtq publisher for more great stories I write.
I look forward to hearing your opinion toward my older books and my newer books that will be published in the near future.
Up front, I'm a femme lesbian. I love butches, always have. But I also love Char, I've read everything she's written to this point, and so when she had a new book coming out of course I had to buy it. I was a little nervous about it being two butches instead of a butch and a femme, but I remembered what a friend told me about the reason that she likes to watch adult films with two men in them. She's straight, and she said that she likes those better because there's nothing in it she doesn't like. She doesn't have to picture herself in it to enjoy it. I think Char has now converted me to this sort of romance. There is so much beauty and love and joy and home in these words, it feels like a big hug. It's also hot as hell. If you love butches, or if you are one and want to see yourself with someone like you, this is definitely your book. My only problem is that it's over.
This is a beautiful story of pain/ love and kindness read it because if you don't then you will truly miss out. Bar security Kerry is over the moon when she takes the job at Rogue a bar on the outside of town plus her new boss is more than welcoming ,Dylan draws her into her home and life enjoy!!!
No surprise Char knocked it out of the park again with this book. She writes in a way that seriously makes you feel like you’re in the book and are one or both of her characters. Hands down a favorite. Amazing story and of course the spice be spicing 🌶️
My god, have you ever read something so gay and lovely? Butch for butch, this book warms my soul. This was exactly what I wanted to read right now. I recommend this for syrup and the gayest of lesbians.
It's very rare to find a butch loving butch romance where one of the MC doesn't deny their attractions to the other. I love the storyline, the spicy scenes, and the happy ending.
