She thought she was ordinary. She couldn’t have been more wrong.

When a letter arrives revealing her adoption, and a mysterious inheritance waiting in a distant town, Kara steps into the unknown. But behind the gates of an ancient manor lies a world she was never meant to one filled with hidden realms, powerful magic, and creatures that should only exist in myth.

Drawn into a life she doesn’t understand and a pull she can’t resist, Kara finds herself caught between secrets she was never told and a destiny she didn’t choose.

Among seductive vampires, watchful witches, werewolves and dangerous alliances, she holds a key that could unlock her past, or unleash something far darker.

Will unlocking the truth set her free… or awaken something far more dangerous?

Serife discovered she was dyslexic as an adult while studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
Just before turning 40, during a challenging period in her life, she stumbled into a newly opened Waterstones and picked up Fourth Wing a book that reignited her imagination and introduced her to the world of reading and BookTok.

What started as a much needed escape quickly became a passion. Encouraged by her husband’s simple question “If you were to write a book, what would it be about?” Serife began writing. With the support of speech to text tools and her sister-in-law’s editing help, she turned her ideas into a full manuscript.

Now an author, Serife hopes her story will inspire others with dyslexia to believe that writing is possible with the right tools, support, and a little courage, anyone can become a storyteller.

Pandora Awakening by Serife Falcon was truly an amazing read from beginning to end. From the very first page, the story pulls you into a world where magic hums beneath every heartbeat and destiny whispers through the shadows. As the plot unfolds, you’re drawn deeper and deeper into Pandora’s journey—a fierce, mysterious heroine caught between light and darkness, power and sacrifice. The world-building is breathtaking, the characters are beautifully layered, and the tension keeps rising until it explodes into that jaw-dropping ending. Just when you think you know where the story is going, everything shifts—and wow, what a twist! Serife Falcon’s writing is rich, lyrical, and utterly enchanting, weaving fantasy and emotion together in a way that lingers long after you close the book. If you love stories that shimmer with danger, passion, and destiny, Pandora Awakening will completely capture your heart.

This book has a lot going on, vampires, werewolves, magic, mystery and found family.

We start with Kara, finding out about her relatives house but there is something strange with it. There are eye shaped carvings throughout the house, in the wooden bits and elsewhere. What is that about? Kara wants to know more and looks into it.

Emily, her friend seems to know more about the carvings and opens up to Kara. I really like the way the story builds, from finding out the mystery of the house, to meeting Theo and Maximus.

A good book one to a series for character and world building.

I read this book last year and I can’t stop thinking about it! I devoured it in two sittings and it was out of this world. I was hooked from the start. It has everything a fantasy lover needs. If you are after a fast passed epic book this is the one for you. I cannot wait for the next book I need it in my life now! Her writing is beautiful and flows so easily. I can’t recommend that you read this book enough.

Check Trigger Warnings

I found this book quite slow at the beginning but I started to enjoy it once I read the first couple of chapters. If you're a fan of vampires, werewolves and witches then you will love this book. We follow our fmc Kara who discovers the truth about her family history after receiving an inheritance. There are three worlds that she learns about from the dashing vampire Theo and a rugged werewolf named Maximus. The Dark World, The In-between and The Land of the Light.
Book tropes: Fated Mates, Forbidden Romance, Love Triangle.

the story line is good but the writing reads like an audio description for blind people watching a show and is very off-putting.
