Wow, what an adventure of a read. This story is full of twists and turns and kept me guessing right til the end.
James knows how to set the scene with his descriptive prose and there was also plenty of action, drama and romance. On the surface you are in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, but look a little closer and there is a whole world of magic around you.
This is definitely a book I will come back to and reread, and I’ll be keeping an eye out for his future work.
