A decent read. I really related a lot to this book, it felt raw and deeply personal. But the overuse of em dashes got distracting at times, almost like AI writing!

Was I Ever Enough? by Yash Ranjith Jain is an emotional and deeply relatable story that captures the raw pain of heartbreak, self-discovery, and healing. It beautifully portrays the journey of love—how it can lift us, break us, and ultimately teach us to find strength within ourselves.

The novel follows a protagonist who pours their heart into a relationship, only to question their worth when love begins to fade. Through simple yet powerful writing, Yash Ranjith Jain explores themes of vulnerability, loss, and the struggle to move on while rediscovering self-love.

What makes this book stand out is its honesty. The emotions feel real, the heartbreak feels personal, and the lessons resonate deeply with anyone who has ever loved and lost. The narrative flows gently but leaves a lasting impact, reminding readers that healing takes time—and that sometimes, closure comes from within.

Was I Ever Enough? is a tender, soul-stirring read that will touch your heart and make you reflect on love, pain, and self-worth. A must-read for anyone who has ever questioned their place in someone else’s story.

this was a very poetic approach to answering the question „was i ever enough?“
it gives you two sides of the same coin: sometimes you are enough for one person while they arent for you, sometimes you arent enough for one person although they are to you. its heartbreak from two sides, its love from two perspectives, its karma reversed as it is doing the same thing to someone they once did to you and realizing its not always personal - sometimes their love cant save you from hating whats actually good for you.
it highlights the challenges of modern and digital dating, it shows you how opening up to people back then was a good way to initiate small talk eventually leading to a full on relationship, while nowadays its opening the casket of your own vulnerability. its scary and terrifying and heartbreaking; conversations that would have meant a soul connection back then are now deemed as casual, we‘re so overflowed with deep talk that we dont recognize the courage it takes to actually open up. i was mad at the vivaan, advika, their past and i felt so incredible sorry for them. their pain was seeping through the pages, i wish it wasnt the story of so many people just trying to find love.

Was I Ever Enough? by Yash Ranjit Jain is a heartfelt and emotional read about love, pain, and finding yourself again. The story talks about how heartbreak changes a person and how healing takes time but is always possible.

I really liked how honest and raw the writing feels. It’s simple, real, and makes you stop and think about your own emotions. Some parts hit deep, especially if you’ve ever felt like you gave your all and still lost.

If you’ve ever gone through heartbreak or felt lost in love, this book will make you feel seen and understood.

I just completed reading this book today. This book is a pure emotion. I could totally relate to his story. Love is not always there to complete you, sometimes it breaks you to teach yourself to stand up again for yourself. It prioritizes over self love before giving love to others.
I want to thank the writer for sharing his story. It takes a lot of courage to do that.

It this book in the chapter 12 the heading was some pages stay with you after the story ends especially when they feel your own that’s exactly what I felt while reading with book I think every one can relate to this story if they faced any heart breaks or been with some one who’s heart was broken and the ending didn’t satisfy me. Hoping for a sequel to this and I’m stuck with the Vivaan Advika
