River & Crown
River’s been running. From heartbreak, from guilt, from the kind of pain that leaves scars no one can see. Just when she thinks she’s found the perfect remedy, Crown tears through her life like a storm… and somehow stays. Caught between the weight of her past and the ache of her present, River is forced to face the ghosts that refuse to stay buried.
Crown’s the kind of man love doesn’t come easy to. Hardened by violence, loyalty, and everything he’s had to become to survive, he never expected to fall for someone like River. She’s daring, complicated, and drowning in wounds he can’t fix.
Grief still lingers. Secrets still fester. And love, no matter how deep, doesn’t promise survival.
In a world where loyalty can kill and healing often comes too late, River and Crown must decide if love is something they can build from ruins or just another war they’re destined to lose.

This thang was fire🔥! I would give it 20 stars if I could! Whew!! I already loved Crown from the last read, but this one really solidified it for me! This man loves hard! A little delusional, and over the top yes, but he has a beautiful heart. I wondered if Crown would ever get tired of chasing River "Four". They were so good together but could never seem to be on the same page at the same time! However, Crown's love nor his quest for her ever wavered. Until...
River, you tap danced, and two-stepped, all over my damn nerve's girl damn! 👀😤 Love him or leave him alone! River's heart and mind stayed conflicted about her feelings for Crown. Just when the two of them were getting on proper footing, ish hit the fan; and continued to roll downhill! 🤬 I wondered what would happen once all the secrets were revealed, and whew lawd... The actions, and words spoken out of anger raised my blood pressure and broke my heart! 💔🥹 This can't be it right?
The drama, chaos, and violence with the supporting characters was off the charts. I loved the flashbacks, as they gave us understanding of how everything came to be, as ugly as it was! 😔 That ending gave me a glimmer of hope that all will be right again! 🥰 Now Honor! What is up with you sir? Seems that there is much truth to what Lucian said about you! Please let him be wrong! 😤 Anxiously waiting for Honor's read, as I am certain it will open our eyes to all that is the Graveheart men! Great read! 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Book 2 from the Graveheart Grove series.....and my blood pressure is HIGH!!! All I can tell you is that River aka FOUR worked every single nerve that I have and Crown is the most delusional, unhinged, confusing MMC in the history of MMC's. I don't even have words for how stressed out I was reading this. However I still enjoyed every single page of this book. I rated this a 4.5⭐️ Trust me....just read it. That is all I have right now....my nerves are shot. 😩

Omg
Whew the backstory with the secrets. I was not ready for that. River and Crown went thru so much. Everybody needs to go see the lady and sit on the couch.

Bravo! 👏🏾 Well done! 👌🏾 This is an easy 5-star review. I haven't got anything bad to say. I enjoyed every second of this 2nd book in the Graveheart Grove series. I'm meant to be sleeping but I had to stay up to finish reading this book. That's how good it was.
I loved the angst in River and Crown's relationship. It was unhinged and filled with trauma but it flowed. Everything was seamlessly woven together. I'm excited to read Honour's story next. He's been mysterious since book 1. I'm curious to see how everything comes together regarding their brotherhood. Because there are so many secrets😩.
I love the numerous characters and multiple POV's in this series. And usually I find it confusing but it was easy to keep up as things were explained properly. And like I mentioned previously it's well-written so everything flowed, every perspective added to solving the jigsaw piece.
I liked that the passionate and steamy scenes didn't overpower the storyline. Some authors get carried away with the spice and forget the other elements of an impactful story. So that was refreshing. It was just emotionally intense which I loved!
I could go on and on but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Highly recommended!!!! Read it!!!

River was absolutely infuriating to me for the majority of this book because of the unnatural allegiance to her dead boyfriend. I feel like if sis just went to therapy this book could have been 300 pages shorter. I get grief is tricky but her self sabotage was astounding. I loved Crown because he loves hard and is unhinged in the best ways…both rooted in deep trauma and he definitely needed to see the lady too. He and River really had to fight tooth & nail to get to their happily ever after. There are a lot of story lines to keep track of, and multiple POVs but it all ties in for an incredibly intense and layered story. This book had a healthy dose of flawed characters, found family/family dysfunction, a dash of toxicity, humor, secrets, betrayals, and some street shenanigans. Also super petty but I hate that River isn’t wearing glasses on the cover🙄

River & Crown… 🤦🏾♀️ I don’t know what took me so long to read this, but once I started, I was locked in. I’m not even going to lie, I love me some Crown. He’s not soft at all, but the way he shows up and stays had me.
This is pain, passion, and the kind of love that’s messy, emotional, and full of wounds that don’t just disappear overnight. The kind of story where love feels like a risk, not a promise, and you feel every bit of it while reading.

River & Crown wore me out the whole book; they deserved each other for all the stress they caused me! 🤣I did like their banter and the way Crown was stepping behind River - she was his whether she wanted to or not. At times it felt like their toxic behavior overshadowed the romance and I didn’t feel like there was enough of them as a couple on page. But I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to what’s next for this group.

This book irritated me. River was definitely a domestic violence victim at the hand of crown throughout the book and not just physical. But she seen it as love. He was controlling, manipulative, and unpredictable but she seen all that as love. and he treated her just like her ex the only difference is that crown has money so he was able to spend more time n buy her ish. but crown and her ex definitely were the same
It pissed me off how River allowed Crown to treat Rook.... someone she seen as a father figure. She just brushed it of as "my man doesn't play about me". She ain't tell crown to apologize or nothing. She just let crown to continue to threaten rook and treat is like ish.
And how crown and river was so in love n always together but never talked about their exes. He told her about Emily n she was cool with it...like a dummy saying oh it would never be me.
He mad at honor for having lynx followed (wait why we never circled back to honey) when that is what he should've fone too. Honor didn't know Lynx was plotting until after everything happened.
All of this could have been solved beforehand had four spoken up about being followed. Like who ignores being followed. In the first book the author wrote Four has a smart headstrong women who is somewhat street smart and aware. But in this book she was naive, never knew what was going on, couldn't pick up on nothing, math was never mathing, and just a plane airhead.
I don't like how the Author wrote Honor in this book but whatever
And I didn't like the twins
And how he shows up 2 months later after choking her, throwing her around, love bombing her, a wk of pointing guns at her n she just marries him that day. Like wtf no conversation was had just her pleading n begging like she was doing before he left.

torn…
This one didn’t quite hit like the first , though it was still good. It was funny but gut wrenching and packed with drama. However unlike the first one, this one felt rushed on the good parts and the other parts dragged out for no reason. This book though river and crown is in it, it intertwined way more characters than in the first book. All couples were on the forefront and that’s good but I almost wanted less of the others and more River and crown. I skimmed a lot especially during the flashbacks and even in skimming I got the whole plot of the book. Like the first some of the characters like Choyce, Kage and a few others felt unnecessary and took up too much unnecessary space in the book. I loved the push and pull between river and crown but again we didn’t get enough of them. The ending was very rushed and left too many loop holes. I wanted more of them especially being that this book is supposed to be focused on them. I wanted to read more into river being pregnant, crown become a dad. I wanted to brothers to make up, we never got chosyn and choyces sit down, honey just disappeared, I enjoyed the twins but again I think they deserve their book. The ending just fell flat, it’s wierd how for the entire book river is annoyingly delusional and “broken” but suddenly she’s healed and has it all together? But now he’s broken and angry and his world is falling apart so he suddenly disappears and then randomly shows back up and all is well?? They didn’t work anything out but all is well?? I think a lot of that could have been showcased more instead of all the other characters who didn’t necessarily add to the plot of River and Crown.

Cortez “Crown” Graveheart
So it took me a few months to get to this book. To be honest I didn’t like River just based off of book 1 so I knew she would irritate me in her and Crown’s book. Let’s just say she exceeded my expectations. LOL
I’ll be honest this was a good book. Even though I do think that it was a bit long and for the ending to be rushed the way it was did kind of blow me. Because if we removed some of the pointless side characters POVs the author could have fleshed out their ending a little better. IMO
*River- This woman was so delusional to the point that I questioned her intelligence. I get that grief can come in all forms and often times unexpectedly but she literally chose to live in misery. And it was over a trash person. Every flashback I seen nothing redeeming about Sincere. But when it was pointed out that was older and that she was underaged. It made so much sense as to how Sincere was able to embed himself into her psyche. She created this lie of a relationship so that it would that this ma was perfect. I’m sorry but she didn’t deserve Crown. Everyone told her if she didn’t get her get together that she would lose him. She would acknowledge it but not take it seriously. But when he finally stood on business I loved it. Had this ma who was showing HER LOVE competing with a ghost who was trash any way.Idk I didn’t care for how she was playing with Crown and I honestly hoped once he got of therapy tha he chose to move on. Crown did all the work while all River was taking. And that box of trinkets was his breaking point. Cuz no you ain’t waking up at 5 am and then sitting in that closet reminiscing over this man while Crown is laid up in your bed. Yeah no I don’t like River.
*Crown- I loved me some Mr.Graveheart. Was he unhinged yes but his love was genuine. And he was willing to do the work to fix what his trauma caused him to become. He didn’t like certain actions and seen that those actions could grown into something bigger and decided to correct them. His love was genuine and honest. And all he wanted was the same love returned to him. He literally gave River the playbook but it’s like she just didn’t get it. It was frustrating to read and I honestly wanted better for Crown. Everybody’s flawed but it came to a point that it felt like River didn’t care how the things she were doing was hurting Crown. All she could say was no one understood. I will say I didn’t like him choking her. And I also didn’t like her slapping him. I don’t like the either party getting handsy. Let’s keep our hands to overselves. Anyway Crown made this book for me. He was so dang funny and it was even worse because he was serious with everything he said/did. Lol
Overall this was a good read. I give a solid 3.5 stars. I would definitely recommend and am looking forward to Killian/Kysre’s story. Also one more thing I don’t like how the author had Crown go to therapy but didn’t think it was a good idea for River to do the same. River was probably more screwed up than him. It’s like allowing ppl to treat her like crap was a sport. Therapy could have been of the things she did to show Crown that she loved him and was willing to do the work to hold onto him. But that’s just me.

Whew, this was a wild ride for me. I'm in deep with this universe. I'm in deep where even though I did not enjoy the romance, I devoured the book because the overall story is still well layered and written. Kellz Kimberly is a strong writer, and it shines through on the page. Even though this one didn't personally fill me up the way Book 1 did, I still laughed. The laughter didn't stop the frustration, but I couldn't get too mad because I felt that was the point.
My issues:
🔐 unlike Wolfe & Chosyn, where I felt their love crescendo to overflowing and we watched their love affirm them and grow them, the romance for River & Crown just crescendo with toxicity. They had to be separated at certain points so the energy could go back down.
🔐 River is a 👏🏾👏🏾 well-done character. I didn't care for how she moved with Crown. I was over her dead 🥷🏾 in Book 1, so having him featured so heavily in thought here for so much of the book was a true I'm over it moment but but but...that was her character. That was the point and purpose in her character arc. I'm sure we'll see her and Crown have a satisfying HEA in Book 3. But here I was, really over her.
🔐 River should have groveled more and done a bigger declaration of love. I truly did like the tidbits we got about how we don't think men deserve soft moments or to see them get chosen. I got that. I got what the author was throwing down. And I truly wanted to see River pull a full-blown Crown level crash out over him and just muck some ish up as her grovel. But we never really got that. She was still pissy over silly drama and acting like a brat up until close to the end.
🔐this book relies a lot on the miscommunication trope. I was vibing hard until around 68% when it became abundantly clear that we were never going to see a true sit-down pour my heart out after explaining my past to the love of my life moment from River. Like mystery pieces kept dropping, and Crown kept picking them up and responding terribly every step of the way, but yeah, I wish I saw better communication with them.
Highlights
👑 What worked and why I kept reading is because the story was full of angst, dramatics, betrayals, violence, and Mafia politics, and I rolled with it. Again, the author is really talented. Even though the romance didn't fill me up, the pages were a breeze. I wanted to see how our found family would move and how they would use this to grow and shift.
👑 the sweeping moments of talking about what love feels like and moves like. Those passages were just bars. Seeing the building conflict with Crown was a way to guide us through him leveling up emotionally.
Quotes:
💬Crown had become the answer to my prayers. The ones I mumbled when sitting in my closet, broken and trying to piece myself back together.
💬"I thought I wanted love to complete me, the other half to my whole. Looking at you, sitting here crying with you, I can say you don't come close to being my other half, Four, you are me."
💬"You're not just mine, and I get that now. You're my other half, the resonance of my soul."

Whew...I was not fully prepared for what River and Crown's story was about to put me through. After meeting them in Book 1, I knew they both had some things they needed to work through, but I wasn't expecting their journey to hit me the way it did. Both of them were living in trauma, whether they wanted to admit it or not. We, as the readers, could clearly see it, even when they couldn't. River was trapped in a revolving door of grief that never really gave her the chance to move forward, while Crown spent his life questioning whether the people who claimed to love him could actually be trusted.
Now let's talk about Crown for a second...
Baby, my man was a certified crash out. 😂 But everything he did came from a place of wanting to love River the only way he knew how. He wasn't the type to love quietly. He loved BIG. Loud. Intentionally. Almost like he felt he had to constantly prove that his love was real enough to be accepted. There were so many moments where I just wanted to tell him, "Sir...take a deep breath." But at the same time, I completely understood why he loved the way he did.
One of my favorite things about this book was how Kellz Kimberly wove the past and the present together. Watching their stories unfold and seeing just how often their paths had crossed made me feel like maybe they were always supposed to find each other. Every flashback added another layer to their relationship, and instead of feeling repetitive, it made everything they were experiencing in the present hit even harder.
The entire time I was reading, I felt like I was holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. Just when I thought things were finally settling down, Kellz would throw something else into the mix that had my emotions all over the place. Then came the moments where River and Crown finally let their guards down and showed each other how deeply they loved one another. Whew...those scenes got me. After everything they had endured individually and together, seeing them finally become vulnerable with each other felt earned.
I said after finishing Wolfe & Chosyn that I couldn't wait to get to River and Crown's story, and I'm so glad I did. This book gave me everything I needed to fully understand them as individuals before bringing them together as a couple. Their story wasn't rushed, it wasn't surface level, and it wasn't just about romance. It was about healing, trust, grief, and learning that sometimes love isn't about finding someone to complete you, it's about finding someone who is willing to stand beside you while you learn to heal.
Kellz Kimberly has completely pulled me into the world of the Gravehearts, and at this point, I'm invested in every single one of them. Im so scared to jump into Honor's books...I'm already emotionally preparing myself because I know Kellz is about to take me through it all over again. 📚💜
There were so many moments where I just wanted to tell him, "Sir...take a deep breath." But at the same time, I completely understood why he loved the way he did.

river is annoying.
this book was good … really good but GOT DAMN river annoyed tf out of me. like literally 98% of the book i was pissed off with her. don’t get me wrong … i liked her character. i liked her as a friend, i liked her personality, she was funny & cute but as a lover i absolutely hated her. she was draining af. she made me feel like i needed a cigarette and i don’t even smoke.
everybody told her that crown chased her, fought for her, & showed her how much he loved and wanted her & that she needed to do that same & she literally never did. like why did she ask him so many time what did he want her to do to show that she loved him?????? that irritated me bc he never had to ask her that … he just did it. you was willing to cut your hair off for him but not once did she ever really try and put forth any effort fr. idk man. she didn’t deserve him. like even in the end. she still didn’t fight for him. he went and got help for him & for her too but she never did anything for their love.
good book tho but she really let sincere mess her up. he groomed her and was a horrible boyfriend and she refused to see that. tbh i continued to read the book for everyone BUT her and that should say a lot since she’s the FMC.
& i really don’t like what honor said to crown at the end. that didn’t seem like honor at all. i get that it’s getting us prepared for his book but i just feel like that’s something he would never say. he loves them so much. i couldn’t imagine him really feeling that way. i hate that for them. he needs therapy. bad! & navy girl please leave his ass. you love him but the man he is she’ll never accept and he loves her but will never love her how she needs to be loved. just split up already. shit he wants to die more than he wants anything. she deserves more. i feel like he gone end up with choyce.
THEN river screaming leah name after crown killed her !!!!!! like girl are you oh effin kay????? it literally just came out that this girl was setting you up and all this other stuff. please bffr.
& chosyn was annoying to me as well. she did toooo much at some times. like when she found out that crown joked about the “real mrs gravehart” thing… like it really just gets to a point with her. i hated how she kinda just expected crown to deal with anything that river did and like get over it in a sense. like nah!
anyways im more interested in kysre & killian than any of these characters at this point.

Tough
I’ll start by saying Crown is a mess and I love him for it. Four is team too much.
Grief is stronghold so it takes some longer than others to shed so I’m not on four for that. But the delusion she was trapped in and playing in crowns face with that whole closet shrine is foul. Once you make it official then you move accordingly and that’s not what happened.
The problem I had with this is it was this super long drawn out back and forth. I kept reading hoping it would be over soon. Maybe it wasn’t felt as much in book one because we get all these characters and we’re new to it. The new characters here add nothing to the mains Graveheart brothers, Choysen and River. I don’t care for anyone else navy included.

Goodness….River stressed me out from beginning to end pining after that corpse and Cortez Crown Gravehart is so unhinged! I throughly enjoyed him. I didn’t expect them to be so connected but baby six degrees of separation was definitely River & Crown.
Now I need to go read Honor and hope that the family gets back together 💔

Love through death
Crown and River took me through it but I’m so glad their trauma didn’t ruin their love. Even though it seems like they are still trauma bonded they deserve to be bonded together.

River and Crown
This book was just as good as the first. One of the themes in the book was that you can’t truly love someone until you heal yourself. Crown and River led toxic, traumatic lives and didn’t know how to handle each other properly. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the book ended with so many unanswered questions. I would have loved to see what happened to Lucian and if Choyce and Chosyn reunited.
I hated how Honor betrayed the brotherhood's trust. I guess it will all come down to Honor.

I enjoyed the story however at times the story line just seemed too unrealistic . It’s also starting to drag on. I love the writing and I do plan to finish the series however, it was just ok.

River & Crown… baybee, where do I even begin? From the moment I met Crown in Chosyn and Wolfe’s book, I knew he was gon’ be my fave. That man is hilarious, but it broke my heart seeing all he had to endure growing up and how it followed him into adulthood.
Now River? Whew… I liked her, but sis had me rolling my eyes with that dead ex, Sincere. Like girl, let that man go already! Still, the way their pasts and all the chaos lined up to bring her and Crown together? Crazy. I honestly didn’t know which way it was gon’ turn.
✨ River Ashland: scarred but strong. She don’t open up easy, but when Crown came crashing in, she had no choice but to face her demons and learn that love don’t erase the pain — it helps you rise through it.
✨ Crown Gravehart: that man been through hell and carries it like armor. Cold at first, ‘cause life taught him not to trust, but his loyalty runs deep. And when he loves? It’s hard, it’s messy, it’s raw — but it’s real. River shook him to his core, and through her he learned strength ain’t just surviving — it’s letting somebody see the soft parts too.
And listen… Crown stealing Four’s contacts had me weak 😂. Then this man really dug up her ex and brought his bones to dinner? Very unhinged behavior but I was here for every second.
The only thing that hurt me was him and Honor falling out. Honor was wrong, no doubt, but I hope they fix it.
Now I’m just waiting on Honor’s book… and something tells me it ain’t Navy he gon’ end up with….im thinking it’s Choyce 👀.

Processing
There’s so much to unpack between these two characters. I found myself being aggravated with both of them. River more than Crown because girl open your damn eyes.
Overall, they weren’t effective with communicating with each other. The love kinda felt toxic at some points but it was understandable. They both had traumas they had to deal with. Proud of Crown for seeking help. I wish River did the same.
I honestly didn’t like how the book ended because I feel like their story wasn’t done. I’m still curious about a lot of things and I look forward to the next installment.

Emotions!
I was looking forward to this couple’s story because there was such a heavy love between them and whew didn’t this read make it even heavier! Their love was so strong but Crown & River were both dealing with grief and so heavy, not to mention both were stubborn. Although they got their HEA I would have loved to see this happen sooner in the story to be able to see them love one another in a healthy manner & grow together. Lets not mention Crown & Honor’s relationship but I definitely hope they can rebuild their brotherhood! I so love this chosen family

I liked it but honestly, they both got on my nerves. River was loyal to a fault and mostly with the wrong people such as Leah and Sincere. Crown was intense but abusive, I don't feel like that was addressed. I know he loved her, and he snapped but no apology, no one really holding him accountable was an issue for me. I'm also hoping they let the friends know in the next book that Honey was not a snake and was working with Honor...I also need Honor to come to the front of the congregation, we need answers!! I'll be reading Book 3.

had potential.
This book took me a while to get into, like the first one. Then when I do and it picks up it’s like it starts to rush in the end. Also I don’t care for too many view points, honor & navy are so blah to me. Choyce I can also do without. And I felt like for this to be a book with a decent length, why did she rush the ending with river and crown ? Like he goes to therapy comes back and bam the end. Like I would have liked to see some closure.

Woooo
This was a highly anticipated book for me but I have mixed feelings. I enjoyed it but River really took me through it. River and Crown were definitely toxic but this is fiction so it’s okay. I felt like they took too long to get it together, though we saw parts of their relationship in book 1, I didn’t think it took 95% of the book for them to be truly happy. I’m still going to read the series but the ending of this book felt rushed.

.
Really wasn't needed. I hate how Honor keeps getting shitted on and you left this psycho motherfucker Lucian keep playing in his face. It be nice if him and Choyce got shot in the face and buried next to Sincere dusty ass. Choyce and Luican should of been dealt with in Wolfe and Choysen book. This one wasn't needed.

✨ Book Review ✨
4.7
Whew, this book had me hollering, sighing, and ready to throw hands—all within a few chapters. That’s how you know a series is good. I was fully entertained the entire time. I laughed out loud more than once and just as quickly wanted to strangle somebody. That’s balance.
Let’s start with the obvious: Crown has entered the chat and he is not playing with these men. We’ve already seen Wolfe act up, but Crown? Crown is the definition of a love-at-first-sight lover boy who means what he says and shows it every chance he gets. When he laid eyes on River, it was game over. Man locked in immediately and didn’t take his foot off the gas. And I was seated front row for every moment. Crown might just edge out Wolfe for top Gravehart brother (don’t tell Wolfe I said that).
Now… River. Girl. I gave you all the grace in the world because grief is heavy and healing isn’t linear—but you were getting on my nerves. We get it, you’re heartbroken. You’ve suffered a loss that flipped your world upside down, and that’s real. But how long you gon’ pine after a man that is not coming back? It was giving ghostwife. I wanted to shake her a few times and say, “BABY, there’s a man right in front of you who is ready to give you the world. But you too busy chasing the wind!” 😩 Crown was doing everything but tap dancing for her attention and she just couldn’t see it.
That said, I love the found family energy in this book. The whole crew is hilarious—Chosyn, Wolfe, the twins, even Honey with her wild self kept me entertained. The banter, the messiness, the drama? 10/10, no skips. And Kellz is the queen of a plot twist so just when you think it’s all jokes and love, BAM—something wild happens and you’re flipping pages like crazy.
🖤 Favorite Moments:
1. Anytime Crown made a joke about River’s glasses 😂
2. Chosyn clowning River for catching them hands & her not playing with Crown about that real Mrs. Gravehart comments 🤭
3. Crown showing up with that body at dinner like it was a takeout order 😭
4. Wolfe & Chosyn’s relationship—golden.
But it’s not all fun and games. There’s some deep tension brewing in the Gravehart family. I hate that the brothers are at odds, especially Crown and Honor. That sibling rift has me stressed. They need to fix it immediately.
And let me say this right now before we even get there—Honor better stand on business in his book! I’m not playing with him. Navy is his and he better act like it. Don’t fall for Choice’s manipulative mess. I’m rooting for Navy to remember who TF she is and stop shrinking herself. I need her to boss all the way up.
I got my eye on Honor. 👀 I know he’s about to take my number one spot when his book drops as long as he stands 10 toes down.

Four + Crown = Twins
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book 2 Review
Book two is done, and I’m about to start book three today!
Oh my God, River and Crown ’s story was an emotional experience. I won’t even call it a roller coaster—it felt like I got dropped off a cliff, strapped into a bungee jump, and then tossed out of a plane. That’s exactly how my emotions felt while reading their story.
One thing I can say is that I have so much respect for River’s mom. She kept it honest and real no matter what. I loved her honesty, her truthfulness, and the way she stood firm in who she was.
As for the friendship and brotherhood, I understand why there is hurt and anger. Those feelings are valid. But I also don’t think Honor knows any other way to protect the people he loves. He’s spent so much of his life carrying burdens and keeping things inside to shield others. That doesn’t necessarily make his choices right or wrong, but it does make me look at his actions differently.
After everything he’s been through—his mother selling him, having to grow up too fast, and finding people he loved enough to call family—I can understand why he constantly put his own feelings aside. The others don’t even know half of what he’s endured.
I’m hoping with everything in me that things get resolved and their brotherhood is restored. Sometimes family isn’t the people who share our blood; it’s the people God places in our lives. That family is just as important, and we all need each other.
This series continues to have me completely invested. The characters are explosive, their storylines are captivating, and every chapter feels like boom after boom after boom. I am completely intrigued and fully locked in.
I can’t spend much more time on this review because book three is calling my name!
⭐️ Rating: 5 out of 5 stars (honestly, 10 out of 10 stars!)
Yes, you should absolutely read this book.
Happy reading, my fellow book lovers!
And to the author: another job well done. High fives and applause all around.
