Rensley Mallosen fue obligado a suplantar a su hermana como prometida del temible duque del Norte, pero lo que empieza como una situación desesperada, pronto se convierte en la oportunidad de encontrar un hogar.
Empecé a leer esta novela en Tappytoon por que me llamó la atención la portada y me quedé por los protas y la trama. Rensley nunca ha sido tratado como un príncipe, pese a ser de la realeza, y la única vez que su padre le presta atención es para enviarlo como sustituto de su hermanastra a un matrimonio con un hombre temible. Y su plan era huir antes de que se descubriera la farsa. Pero aún cuando el duque descubre el engaño, le ofrece la posibilidad de quedarse en la ciudada. Ahora debe demostrar que es digno de la confianza que el duque ha depositado en él.
Pese a ser cliché, y ya sabemos por dónde irá la trama, es agradable la personalidad de Rensley y cómo ese entusiasmo ante la vida está mostrándole un nuevo mundo al siempre recluido Giesel. Me gustan sus interacciones y lo ávido que está Giesel por nuevos conocimientos, que ahora descubre que no solo existen en los libros.

This volume is more focused on the world building so there's really nothing much to say. But it's good tho! Their relationship is pretty nice but I still cannot say that they have good chemistry. I feel like they'd be similar to student x teacher relationship, nothing significant to point out for now. (I am liking the slowburn for sure!)
