Isabella

I was kidnapped by New York’s most dangerous playboy.
One minute I was leaving a gala. The next, I was locked in a safehouse with Matteo Rosetti—tattooed, cocky, and criminal royalty.
He says I’m just leverage in the war between our families. That this isn’t personal.
But the way he watches me says otherwise.
He knows I’m Chase Callahan’s niece. He doesn’t know I’ve spent my whole life kept out of the blood-soaked truth about my family.
Now I’m a pawn in a game I never agreed to play.
The nightmares that haunted me since I was a child—flashes of screams, shadows, blood—I used to think they meant nothing.
But Matteo sees more than I want him to.
And with him, I’m starting to understand what those dreams really mean.
The girl I was—the perfect Callahan princess—is gone.
And the woman left behind doesn’t want to be rescued.
She wants him.

Matteo

She wasn’t supposed to be part of this.
Hell, I didn’t even know Chase Callahan had a niece.
But when my family needed leverage, I did what I do best—flashed a smile, played it smooth, and got her in my car. Easy.
Keeping her? Not so easy.
Isabella’s smart. Fierce. Off-limits.
And I can’t stop wanting her.
She’s my hostage. My bargaining chip.
And the only woman who’s ever made me want more than one night.
I said this was just business.
But somewhere between the threats and the fire in her eyes, she became mine.
And if Chase Callahan wants her back?
He’ll have to go through me.

eh

This book was really repetitive. And it was honestly hard to get through. The storyline was slow and a little boring

Enjoyed this very much, much passion and violence but a very happy ending for Matteo and Isabella after a lot of soul searching
