Just when Maeve Bellemore thought the worst was behind her, the magic of Stonewick begins to twist, and this time, the curse has teeth. The Wards are stirring. The Academy is awake. And all signs point to one devastating Keegan, the brooding wolf shifter who’s stolen more than a few of Maeve’s thoughts, is now the curse’s target.
With the Academy’s halls teeming with new students, a goblin on snack patrol, a fox shifter teaching class, and a vampire witch with opinions on everything, Maeve must balance her role as reluctant headmistress with the growing threat outside her cottage door. But how can she save Stonewick when her heart's leading her straight into danger?
This magical midlife cozy fantasy blends mystery, found family, and second chances with laugh-out-loud banter and a pinch of romance that refuses to quit.
If you love magical academies, magical chaos, and magical creatures who don’t follow the rules...grab your wand and your favorite tea. This next chapter in Maeve’s journey might just change everything.
This series is an amazing world built by the author that continues to develope and grow. It's sometimes confusing and complex and then something happens or is said that clears things up. I think this is the next-to-last book in the series. It's clearly building up to a major battle and conclusion. I'm anxious to read that book. It will be out in less than a month!

Powerful story in a wonderful series, centered around Maeve, hedge witch that’s in her late 40’s and has a second chance of new life. She is Headmistress of the magical academy in Stonewick, the community battling the darkness and beloved of Keegan, wolf shifter guardian who suffered in the breaking of the wards in book 5.
Best part of the novel is not only the magical storytelling as the writer spins out the fantastical tale, filled with grudges, good versus evil battles, ancient souls who guide mysteriously (and cryptically, but aren’t the guides filled with wisdom always so, letting the heroine figure out based on their clues, where to go next? They must let Maeve choose her path, yet give enough information she is in the right direction).
Maeve has support, family, students, a life she loves and Keegan - she is fighting to keep them all in this exciting novel and an absolutely worthwhile read
Magical Mirage is the 6th book in this series. Stonewick is a beautiful magical town. Although Mauve is instrumental in the awakening of Stonewick Magical Academy’s reopening, it is with the help of loyal and unique magical people and their love and devotion that has contributed to the academy’s growth. They are once again faced with evil that threatens to destroy the academy and town. Will Mauve be able to bring together those needed to win this battle? Magical Mayhem, book 7, will answer that question. K.Bolton has created an exciting and suspenseful world and series.
There was no ending. It just stopped. It was a great book until then, but unlike the rest of the series there was revolution. Things are unsolved and it just stops. I don't appreciate reading a whole book for it to just stop. Could skip this one & go to the next. The only upside was spending time in Stonewick, but when you're literally dying reading for enjoyment and a book just ends. It doesn't sit well or make me feel like I spent my time wisely. Very disappointing compared to the rest. And frankly I've had enough of grandma E with no one confronting here.
I start these books slow and then all of a sudden it's all I want to do!! The next thing I know I've read the whole book and I can't wait to see what happens next!! Then I'm bummed because I have to wait for the next book to be finished. Please hurry and finish writing it, the suspense is killing me!!
This 6th book in the series starts off making you think the answers are here but with due diligence the writer has stretched to another book without losing any of the main co tent. Definitely recommend but you do need to start at the beginning.
I would highly recommend this series. D.K. never disappoints. It's so imaginative and magical! Every single character in this book just blends. Thank you for another book
Just as it took 5 books to get one resolution to the curse, it took book 6 to start a new mystery! As the author repeatedly says, “we’re running out of time.”…or maybe patience!
