I really truly enjoyed this so much. It was absolutely amazing. It pulled on my heartstrings left and right. I’m usually not one for slow burn romances but this was beautifully done.
This book was actually brilliant, I did enjoy it very much, the book was heartbreaking and full of trauma and people trying to better themselves, the book itself included intense romance. She wanted to break free from her perfect life and he understood it and wanted to be there for her, trigger warnings -mental health including bipolar disorder- emotional abuse- anxiety and panic attacks- manipulation I’m sure I missed some

Breaking Perfect is a heartfelt, honest portrayal of recovery and hope. Elyse Heartwell invites readers into a world where broken things can still be beautiful, and where healing doesn’t mean perfection but progress. It’s a book for anyone who’s ever felt lost and afraid but dared to believe in a better tomorrow.
If you’re seeking an emotional, character-driven story that tackles tough themes with care and grace, this one’s definitely worth the read.
Breaking Perfect hit me right in the chest. Geraldine’s struggle to hold herself together while her world demands perfection felt painfully real, and Lucas is the kind of flawed, protective, emotionally complex love interest I adore. Their slow-burn connection is electric without ever rushing the healing. I finished the last page feeling wrung out in the best way.
Very beautifull book about past trauma's and a perfect slow burn! The characters were very likeable and I want to read the rest of this! Definitly recommend!.

Breaking Perfect is the kind of book that breaks you before it heals.
It will make you curse, get angry, shed a few tears. You will root for Geraldine every step of the way. Fall in love with Lucas and wish he was yours. You’ll probably hate Richard and wish Nick would just give him one solid jab. Just once.
In the end, I hope it will stick with you for a few days. Maybe make you feel seen, whether you’ve ever walked a fee steps in either of the characters’ shoes or not.
Most of all, I hope you enjoy it. And if it shines a light in some dark corner of your life, then it has achieved its ultimate goal.
Thank you for taking the time to read Breaking Perfect. 🌸
