This book is jam packed with action, mystery, thrills, romance, family drama, character development, and so much more.
There isn't a single moment of boredom.
Let me tell you right now, you are NOT ready for the ending. I hope Sloane is ready for the onslaught of tantrums the ending will surely create 🤣If you were part of the original ARC team, I highly suggest re-reading the final version. Everything has been updated and revised (hopefully) and is a super kicka$$ way to debut as an Indie author.
Congrats Sloane for achieving author status! We welcome you with open arms.

Okay to say this book warped my brain was an understatement! Now this was my first psychological thriller type book and man was I thrown loop through loop guessing and for some of it I was like what in the heck is going on. Needless to say I loved it anyways it was intriguing, kept me on my toes, and I had to finish in one sitting so that everything came together because my brain needed to know. Oh my gosh the tension between Hensley and our girl. The lies, deceit, betrayal, the action!! Things you did not see coming had me on my toes!! And that ending! That ending was very rude I’m not gonna spoil it you’ll have to go read but let’s just say this book definitely puts you through a wild ride but it was so worth it!! Please make sure to add this to your TBR and go check it out you definitely won’t be bored!! 🥰

What Was Mine is a romance, revenge thriller. I love a badass FMC, and that's what Evelyn Vaughn is!
I enjoyed this book! I loved the story and the plot. I kept getting a little confused about the timeline, though.
The ending completely shocked me, though!

Needless to say, the ending shocked me! Evelyn is a badass MFC who is taking her life back! Get it, girl! The suspense was real! I couldn't put the book down! The plot twists kept me guessing until the end! Definitely add this book to your bookshelf!

Who doesn’t love a good revenge/thriller book. This is Sloane’s debut novel and she did so good! We love a FMC who’s a total baddie and seeking revenge on those who did her wrong. The end was a twist and I may have shed some tears or two but it was such an entertaining read.
