When I read the blurb for this book it reminded me of a certain Geordie tv show. However this is more about behind the scenes. I felt that Charlotte has a unique perspective on this compared to other artists as she’s lived it. This book is about the life of a woman who joins a new reality tv show. The female main character reminds me a lot of Charlotte, and makes me wonder if some of the things that happen may be based on real events. There are plenty of ups and downs, partying and humour. I’d also say it could be quite empowering with its ending. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

An easy pool side read which gave memories of watching Geordie shore as a teen. Spent the time trying to associate which character was who from the series and have my suspicions.

It was a good book with lots of funny moments. Reading this book reminded me of Geordie Shore, which had many similarities to North Stars! Although I did find the story quite slow in places, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and went through all of the emotions whilst reading it!
