He’s gorgeous, with long, flowing dark hair, and he has the brightest blue eyes she has ever seen. They have so many memories together, including a torrid one of the day she saw him naked in a boathouse.

But real life intervenes, and Taylor has to leave for work. Worse still, he has a disturbing secret which forces him to stay away from Katy for her own good.

Now Katy is on the run. She is running because she has just committed SOMETHING AWFUL. This is her chance to go find Taylor.

But Taylor is not alone anymore. He lives with his best friend, the hulking blond god, James. When their lives collide, can the three of them survive their individually mysterious and dangerous secrets?

My bears protection

Taylor realized he was in love with his stepsister and didn't Act on it until she saught him out and told him she was in love with him as well. There was just a matter of all the secrets each one held. For starters he's a shifter. A huge grizzly bear. And she believed she killed her new stepfather but realized her mom had a hand in killing him. Then theirs James, Taylor's best friend and mentor and they both love her and on the run to protect her and find a cure to help Taylor get a grip on his triggers that cause him to shift and not remember anything. He needs to learn how to control them and live a better life.

Oh my. I only finished this one because it ended before I realized I was near the end. The whole story came off as rushed and the product of a bunch of loose ends that were strung together in order to clean out a few files on the drive. Not what I was looking for in shifter romance, and less than I expect from Dawn Steele. That said, I will continue to follow her releases and indulge my shifter fantasies.

Not to my liking

Although well written, this story just wasn't to my liking. I just couldn't get into it and found myself paging through it just to get to the end, hoping it would get better.

Left me hanging

While this was a good story it just left me feeling like it wasn't enough. That's how I felt. Empty. Then you get to the end and there is a cliffhanger. Well I guess I will wait again.

Interesting tale

I loved this interesting shape shifter tale. This was a different twist then I have seen before. I liked the story line but it needed something. I. Am not quite sure what though.

I couldn't finish this one.

I felt like I was reading something a teen had written. I just couldn't get more than half through this one.

Unique

I enjoyed the back ground story on this one, but all the same it was a little intense when it came to the murder.
