Hanuman Flies to Ravana’s Lanka: Lessons in Love, Humility, Devotion and Service by Kushagra Singh is a modern spiritual retelling of the SundarKand from the Ramayana. Through poetic prose and introspective reflections, the book captures Hanuman’s legendary leap to Lanka in search of Sita - not just as a mythological feat, but as a metaphor for personal transformation, courage, and surrender to a higher purpose.

As I read this book, I felt like I was walking alongside Hanuman, not just witnessing his journey but experiencing my own. The writing is warm and accessible, and each chapter ends with key takeaways that gently nudge you toward self-reflection. I found myself pausing often, underlining passages, and even journaling my thoughts. The simplicity of the language made the spiritual depth even more impactful.

One of my favorite aspects was how the author made ancient wisdom feel relevant to modern life. Whether you're spiritually inclined or simply seeking motivation, this book speaks to the seeker in all of us. The illustrations are stunning - they don’t just complement the text, they elevate it, adding a devotional richness to the reading experience.

If I had to suggest one area of improvement, it would be the pacing in the middle chapters. While the reflections are beautiful, a slightly tighter narrative could enhance the momentum of Hanuman’s journey.

Overall, this book is a heartfelt tribute to Lord Hanuman and a gentle guide for anyone navigating life’s challenges. It’s not just a retelling - it’s an invitation to leap across your own ocean of doubt with faith and courage.

Hanuman‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Flies to Ravana’s Lanka really impressed and moved me. The book is a fictionalized account of the Ramayana, and is one of the most epic work of the great Hindu Mythology series, where Hanuman jumps over the sea and goes to Lanka to find Sita. But the author doesn't just give the old story again, he takes you on that trip as if you were going with Hanuman, probing faith, humility, bravery, and service in a way that matches up with the life of today.

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ book is quite impressive in terms of the way it manages to maintain its depth while still being very approachable. It is a tightly woven mythological work and at the same time, it is minimally complex enough to serve someone who is not deeply steeped in the epic myths. The narrative just goes through.

Every chapter delivers more than just storyline: these are the “recipes” for life, take-aways, and personal questions, which make reading an interactive process. Kushagra Singh takes his time to explore the essence of devotion, courage, and service rather than rushing through the story for effect. Also, if you’ve read a lot of spiritual or mythology-inspired self-help books, some lessons might feel familiar, but even then, they’re presented with such sincerity that they still land.

Overall, I would definitely recommend it. It’s an ideal combination of myth and mindfulness, equally pleasant for anyone wishing to get in touch with the Ramayana again or just seeking a thoughtful, meaningful read that stays with you. Hanuman, in Singh’s telling, stops being just the hero of a story, he becomes a way of living.

Definitely read it for the way it bridges timeless wisdom with today’s world so gracefully and genuinely.

*Hanuman flies to ravan’s lanka*
A book that is with great illustrations and each chapter having the key takeaways which is the most amazing part. Hanuman Flies to Ravan’s Lanka by Kushagra Singh is a heartfelt retelling of one of the most powerful moments from the Ramayana. The story follows Hanuman’s brave and inspiring journey to Lanka in search of Sita, but what truly makes it special is how it goes beyond the adventure and explores the emotions and strength behind his actions.

The author writes with a tone that feels both familiar and refreshing. The storytelling flows effortlessly, bringing out Hanuman’s courage, humility, and deep devotion to Lord Rama in a way that feels personal and moving. As the pages unfold, you can almost feel the wind beneath Hanuman’s wings as he leaps across the ocean, his heart filled with faith and determination.

What I loved most is how the story reminds us that strength is not just about power but also about purpose. Hanuman’s unwavering belief in Rama and his mission becomes a gentle lesson in dedication and trust. The writing is simple yet poetic, making it easy to connect with the emotions behind each moment.

The book beautifully captures the essence of Indian mythology while keeping it accessible for all ages. It doesn’t feel like a heavy mythological text but more like an inspiring story that makes you pause and reflect.

It leaves you with a quiet sense of awe and warmth, reminding you why Hanuman remains one of the most beloved figures in our culture. This story is not just about reaching Lanka but about discovering the strength that comes from love, faith, and devotion.
