Everybody Leads: How You Lead and Why it Matters

Rate this book
"Believe it or not, like it or not, you already lead in some capacity—whether in business, your family, an athletic team, a civic organization, or a book club. Far too many people fail to recognize the unique leadership roles they live out every day. As a result, they miss opportunities to influence and help others."

In his first book, Tim Lupinacci, Chairman and CEO of Baker Donelson, draws on life lessons learned from more than thirty years of practicing law to unfold a comprehensive roadmap for better leadership. This is not just an advice book for the corporate world; Everybody Leads is aimed at anyone who wants to feel more in control of their own leadership journey and better able to cause positive change in the lives of others. Dive into topics and disciplineCultivating a culture of energyDinner table diplomacyLeadership storytellingAnd much more!
Tim offers both practical, actionable tips and broader-scope life advice, grounding it all in anecdotes of triumph and error from his own career, current events, history, and above all the mentors who've influenced and motivated him over the years. These include both friends and acquaintances, formal career mentors and unexpected inspirations, aptly illustrating the point that everybody leads—and that through intentionality, dedication, and a little good advice, everyone can lead better.

Tim Lupinacci is the Chairman and CEO of Baker Donelson, where he leads over 1,300 individuals in 24 offices across the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic U.S. A life- long student of leadership, Tim recently launched Everybody Leads, a nonprofit focused on empowering individuals in underserved communities by teaching basic leadership skills and building self- confidence.
