Rate this book
Two blue lines is all it takes to reignite their love.

Fresh out of a long-term relationship, Tamara Chandy is finally in charge of her own life and happiness. Her career as an interior architect and sex room expert is booming and she’s definitely making a name for herself. While romance isn’t off the table, it’s certainly not a priority right now.

Patrick Joseph has been single for a long time and his pile of trophies and medals don’t make for good company. However, he is getting older and his days of being a professional athlete are numbered. And with the state of his mental health, he needs to make decisions about his future soon.

When their paths cross for the first time in twenty years, unresolved history sparks tension. A chance to clear the air turns into a night to get each other out of their systems.

The last thing they expect is a baby.

Patrick moves in and Tamara lays down the rules for their cohabitation. Until frustrations turn into feelings. Flirting and familiar nicknames turn into intense desire and longing. Before they know it, they’re falling back in love.

With their hearts on the line, this second chance might be their last.

Rebound is the second book in The Love League series, and it was so much fun getting to know Patrick and Tamara after seeing glimpses of them in Stumped!

This is a second chance, accidental pregnancy, friends to idiots to lovers romance, and I really enjoyed their journey. This book is rich in Malayali culture, food, and customs, and I always enjoy getting a glimpse into parts of South India in Anna P.'s books! Both Patrick and Tamara had several on-page explorations of their mental health, and these scenes were written with so much care and realism, inclusive of the less-explored aspects of mental health and how it presents. One of the things I loved most about this book is how un-glamorous Tamara's pregnancy is! Like, sure, she's happy to be pregnant, but she also really hates how it wears on her body. I laughed every time she referred to the baby as Patrick's giant baby. Because sports romance is cool, but athletes are HUGE.

Once Patrick and Tamara got past their past hurts, their love story was very supportive, balanced, and filled with moments of gentleness and understanding. No third-act breakup, lots of really cute banter, queer rep, solid family units, and tons of generous, loving gestures between them. The writing was absolutely stunning, and I really enjoyed the side characters—especially the reappearance of Elias and Vera!

I think parts of this story burned too long for me—the romance, the decision of Patrick's career, and how long Tamara waited to tell Patrick what went wrong in their past. And then I felt like there were many areas that were fleshed out when I would rather have spent time into other scenes that get mentioned in passing.

Thank you to the author for sending me an ARC!

I loved every moment of reading this book. From the first page, I was hooked. I waited to start this book until I had a few days off work so that I could spend my vacation enjoying this amazing story. There were so many amazing lines that I highlighted. Patrick was the perfect balance for Tamara. I loved that Tamara was a strong women who knew what she wanted and Patrick didn't fight her, but rather worked with her as she pursued her goals. This book was heartwarming, emotional, and a ton of fun. I really loved the footnotes with additional information about locations, food, and culture. It is always a refreshing change of pace to read a book set somewhere other than the United States. Anna always writes the best friendships. In case you couldn't tell- I loved this book.

I did receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

How did this book make my heart go, you ask? Badoom-boom. That’s the sound of me losing it over another Anna masterpiece. At this point, are we even surprised? I always pick up an Anna book knowing I’m about to fall in love, get my heart tangled in her characters, and end up blissfully content.

This book felt like coming home to people I know and adore. Getting to catch up with this group, especially Tamara and Patrick after all those teasing crumbs in Book 1, was pure serotonin. Anna’s writing has that effortless magic that makes your sadness disappear. It’s smooth, heartfelt, and layered with just the right balance of humor, chemistry, heartache, and healing. Her characters feel achingly real with their complex emotions and imperfect edges, making them relatable.

Now let’s talk about them. Tamara stole my heart, but Patrick? He owned the damn stage. Her quick-fire remarks and sass had me grinning, and his cheeky comebacks were pure gold. Their dynamic was textbook banter goals giving that addictive mix of teasing, tension, and tenderness.

And then there’s Patrick’s love language: food. The man flirts, cooks, feeds, and nurtures like it’s his mission. Every dish, every touch, every gesture screamed devotion and love layered with care. He’s the kind of man who worries about everyone else before himself; imperfect, haunted by his own struggles, but endlessly giving. Watching him show up for Tamara, not as a savior but as a steady presence, was beautiful.

Bold, confident, daring Tamara carries her own fear of abandonment and the way that was portrayed was raw, human, and empathetic. Patrick never tries to “fix” her; he simply stays. The quiet moments, cooking together, existing side by side, learning each other’s rhythms, were the real love story.

What I adored most was how authentically this book handled mental health, therapy, depression, and even pregnancy. It didn’t sugarcoat or sensationalize; it showed the messiness, vulnerability, and strength it takes to heal while still showing up for love. Those moments of honesty between them were intimate in a way that felt personal and grounding.

The spice? Oh, it was absolutely spicing. The swoony moments? Me a puddle on the floor. But beyond that, it’s the emotional depth that stayed with me, a reminder that love isn’t about being perfect, but about showing up again and again.

Verdict: the need to devour whatever Anna gives us next is still here and thriving. Can’t stop, won’t stop, and definitely don’t want to.

Thank you Anna for the ARC and the chance to read this book early!

I am absolutely LOVING this new Anna P. series so much! As I said in my review for the first book Stumped, I adore the fact it's set in India where Anna lives, getting to see life in a country I've never visited and exploring that is super exciting. We once again get Anna's footnotes, but not as many this time I don't think, telling us about the foods and places mentioned since it would be weird having two Indian characters describe things like that to each other when they both already know, and I love it! It's such a good way of explaining things to the reader when she knows a lot of us won't know what it, and it's a lot less distracting than having to go and Google it, and way better than just remaining ignorant.
This was an excellent romance between Tamara (Vera from book 1's cousin) and Patrick (Elias from book 1's bro) and I knew from what we saw of them in Stumped that this was going to be another excellent book and I was not disappointed! We get quite a few tropes in here, and even better than childhood friends to lovers, they're childhood LOVERS to lovers!! and it was so adorable! I always love a good flashback in either a second chance romance or to their early friendship and this got both which some really cute scenes of young Tamara and Patrick falling in love before they really knew what love even was. It was perfection! And their nicknames were so cute!
I loved the way their newfound relationship progressed and it felt very real given all the hurt they'd both been through, particularly Tamara in terms of their relationship. But I loved the way they both helped each other through everything and supported each other in every way.
As with all of Anna's books, I loved it and can't recommend it enough! And as always, I'd also recommend making sure you read Stumped first! Admittedly this time you don't get too many spoilers for Vera and Elias's story in this one, but you do get some nice background context in it for Tamara and Patrick that I always think is a bonus. I'm very excited for the next book with the MCs being a little more mysterious this time! There's a little set up but only a small mention and we've not met one of the MCs at all so I'm excited to see what happens in that one!

Thank you Anna for an ARC of this book!

HELLOS. I come with greetings and screams that I LOVE TAMTRICK WHOLLY AND WITH MY ENTIRE BEING. I loved Patrick's incorrigible flirting, Tamara's unrelenting sass, and their banter-filled interactions. And when we hit those soft moments? FUCK. ME. Imma go cry in the corner.

I will accept no criticisms of Tam. Bc she's a strong woman who has worked her ass off to make a name for herself in her industry. Bc she embraces and appreciates her body for what it is. Bc she loves and supports her people, and takes zero shits. Bc in her strength, she acknowledges her bumps and bruises, and she does the damn thing and goes to therapy. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Basically, what I'm saying is I want to be Tam when I grow up. And like Trick's 🍆, we're ready to rise up and fight her battles. IYKYK. 😉

Not to be forgotten, WE LOVE OUR INDIAN VIKING in equal measure. His good nature, his care for the people he loves, and his charm that never takes a break. Did I mention he's a biker? *swoooon* But not to ignore the hard stuff bc while Tam does have a journey of her own with her mental health, Trick's was arguably more significant. Not bc any one struggle has more value than another (we don't compare struggles in this house) but simply that Patrick's journey was more involved. To see this man who loved so loudly hold back so tightly to the point of literally falling apart? My heart shattered. So when he finally opened up and let Tam in, in any capacity, it felt like such a victory. Bc in *both* of their cases, it meant they were in it together. Not just two individuals tied together by a baby but a unit of two people committed to supporting each other. And *that's* what love is all about.

Surprise pregnancy + texts on page + caretaking!

Tamara and Patrick disastrously reunite after twenty years. A chance to clear the air turns into the last thing they expect: a surprise pregnancy.

Patrick moves in.
Tamara has rules.
But frustration quickly turns to feelings & they’re forced to confront both their past and their present.

As someone who doesn’t really love surprise pregnancy & is very picky about second chance, I liked this one more than I thought I would! And that should surprise zero people because I adore Anna and have been reading her books since the beginning!

While my depression shows up very differently than Patrick’s does, I really loved the representation and there were absolutely aspects of it that were validating for me.

The plot was a rollercoaster of emotions and laughter! Tamara and Patrick definitely have a past, and while Patrick wants to work through what happened immediately, Tamara is much more reluctant. This added so much tension and depth to their relationship. And it definitely made me root for them more!

I loved learning more about field hockey, as it’s a sport I know basically zero things about.
I loved loved loved the south India setting and how much of her heart, family, and culture Anna put into this series.
The caretaking, the texts on page, and the secret tattoos were chef’s kiss!

While they can absolutely be read as standalones, I definitely recommend you also read Stumped!

I’ve seen this book evolve from beta read to ARC read and it’s been a privilege to be part of this journey, as it makes its way into the world. The Love League resides in a special corner of my heart. I loved Stumped and just when I thought it can’t get much better than Vera and Elias, we are gifted with Tamara & Patrick.

For me, @annapwriteshere writes in technicolor, which is the closest to how I would describe the series, but especially this book. There is so much diversity and representation. I love that Tamara is a sex room/interior designer and Patrick’s character reveals the darker side of mental health issues with competitive athletes. Then, there is the vibrancy and energy of life in Chennai, which serves as the backdrop for this book. As a South Indian, I loved the mouth-watering references to the local cuisine (sambar, appams et al), the beautiful beach scenery, as much as I enjoyed the equally tantalizing representations of Indian MCs - a curly haired, plus sized queen and a dark skinned, tatted, muscle-bound hero. Then, there is the eclectic broader cast of characters/found family. Tamara is an orphan who battles abandonment issues and seeing her shored up by her ride-or-die is heartwarming. This series is going to have a long life with this crowd of intriguing personalities.

There is so much about this book that is rewriting norms. Tamara starts as an interior designer but leans into sex room designing, unapologetically (I am here for this career transition!). Patrick is an Olympic hockey player who hangs up his stick to show up for his baby mama. They’re both scared to be parents and work with therapists to be better, do better.

This was a very fulfilling (and SPICCCCCYYYYY) read, one I’ll be recommending for days. For those of you series hunters, a little bird tells me Book 3 is already under way….

Anna writes the most complex, beautifully relatable characters who struggle with things that so many people struggle with. I love that i can always relate to every character in one way or anything and that makes me connect and enjoy the stories on another level.

Rebound was no different for me in that manner. From pregnancy scariness, miscarriage, hateful exes, IBS, depression and so much more. I found myself in our MCs and was rooting for their love story from the beginning.

Anna’s writing is always something i love most about her books. This book didn’t let down in that area either. It was bingable, easy to read and had me feeling every emotion possible at least once.

I struggled with feeling a bit bored / things were a bit slow in the first half of the book. I think that by the end of the book, that small section didn’t hurt it as a whole but definitely would have bumped us to a 5, but that’s ok! The build up was well done, the yearning was deeply present and that made up for the other slowness.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. I wish i would have seen her IBS on the page more, but i think it was authentic to someone who is pregnant, as IBS can vividly change during that time.

Lastly, this may be a personal preference, but occasionally how the FMC was referencing herself made angry. She came off as someone who was very confident in herself and while she was plus size, the harsh phrases she said sometimes made me as a plus size reader a bit uncomfortable. but i think that is more of just a personal preference.

The Vibes:
-Surprise Pregnancy
-Secondchance Romance
-Forced Proximity
-It’s Always Been You

Estranged childhood sweethearts Patrick and Tamara reunite for one night…. Until Tamara finds out that she is pregnant! Can they resolve their issues from the past, and maybe find love?

This is the second book in the Love League series and it was wonderful to not only hear Tamara and Patrick’s story, but to see Vera, Elias and Nina again! All the characters in this series feel real and well written. I love that it promotes body positivity and discusses mental health in a caring way.

Rebound is a sports romance, but heavy on the romance as opposed to the sports. There is also a good amount of spice in just the right places. Anna P writes stories and characters that are relatable, funny and realistic. I always feel fully immersed in the story and like I’m reading about friends.

I love how this book brings us characters with real issues that we root for. You want them to find themselves and learn to support one another because they feel like people in our own lives. Anna P has a wonderful way of writing about people’s inner turmoil but allowing them the space to learn from their mistakes and find the life they deserve. Heartwarming and reassuring, always!

This story has a surprise pregnancy, references to miscarriage and a character dealing with depression. All of these are handled with care, but please check the trigger warnings and protect your mental health before diving in.

Perfect for readers who love sassy, confident women who know themselves but need a little push towards love, and men who worship their women while letting them be who they are. Oh, and if you like field hockey, this is the romance for you!

In Stumped, when Tamara and Patrick’s history came up, I was so excited for their story—and Rebound absolutely delivered! It was everything I’d hoped for and more. I enjoyed every single second of it!

Anna smashed it again! I adore how she writes stories that make me fall for not just the main characters but the entire cast. Her FMCs are always my favorite—bold, badass, confident, smart, and successful, yet still so soft, sweet, and vulnerable. Tamara was FAB! I loved how she gave Patrick a hard time and made him work to win her back. I adored her bossy nature. And seeing her all jealous and flustered had me grinning nonstop. The way calling him “Trick” did the trick 😉

And Patrick—oh my god! Him being a total lovesick fool was AWEfckingSOME! A man in love, doing everything he could to win back his girl—and doing a damn good job at it! The way he flirted his way to Tam’s heart—with those tattoos, that beard, the man bun, and that bike—had me melting. I loved the way he cared for her and admired her and loved her. I looooved when he called her "Lo". 💘

The domestic side of their relationship—those cozy, everyday moments like stolen T-shirts, cooking together, the mix of angst and tenderness, the hard but honest talks, and the soft touches. I live for those scenes.

Also, the sibling bond and friendships was so wholesome and heartwarming ❤

“One day, I won’t cry in therapy.” “Then I’m not doing my job right"

“Like I have no control over what’s happening. I had an episode in Delhi and had to peel all my clothes off. The harder I ignore it, the more intense it is when I crash. It’s like a wave—building slowly and rising with enough time to escape. But when it meets land, it’s loud and painful.”

“It was always meant to be you,”

Tamara Chandy and Patrick Joseph are childhood sweethearts until one year, he doesn’t join the sports camp that was their space, breaking his promise to always be there. Now a national hockey team player, he is pleasantly surprised when she joins his siblings trip as his brother’s (Elias) girlfriend’s (Vera) cousin (basically sister). Now that he’s seen how she’s reacted to his presence, he’s determined to understand why she’s so angry with him, to win back his Lotus. When an attempt to talk through their issues since their siblings are in a relationship, results in an unexpected pregnancy Patrick is determined to win back the only girl he’s ever loved, no matter what and how long it takes.

Firstly, I’m not a fan of surprise pregnancy but Anna handled this in a plausible manner, making it much easier for me to enjoy the story and appreciate it for the key themes which Anna handles with such dexterity and compassion. The manner in which she handled Patrick’s high functioning depression, describing the moments with such detail, you can feel his despair with every fibre of your being. This brought me a whole new level of awareness for this condition, for which I am infinitely grateful as an HCP and a person.

And it doesn’t stop there, the sensitivity with which she handles Tamara’s pregnancy, her ex Kabir and her trauma relating to the history with both, is admirable. I love how she empowers Tamara to grow past this, embracing her relationship with Patrick and their baby.

The banter between her and Patick is electric but also sweet at times, and I love the slide from tolerating him to quiet acceptance..to…more 😊The way that they support each other, allowing the other to be themselves or to take a weight when the other cannot, is heartwarming beyond measure and truly something to hope for.

We are again treated to appearances by the gang and teased for future relationships. I messaged Anna IMMEDIATELY after I finished the book to confirm if it was who I thought and I CANNOT WAIT! It is going to be exquisite!! Dare I say maybe even my favourite? Sorry Elias!

Rebound was everything I wanted in a second-chance romance—emotional, layered, and full of heart.

Anna nailed Tamara’s mix of snark, stubbornness, and vulnerability. Even when I wanted her to just talk to Patrick, I understood why she didn’t—and that’s all credit to Anna’s storytelling chops. I felt like I really knew these two, their history, and what drove them.

This story had it all: young love, heartbreak, grief, mental health, family ties, a surprise pregnancy, healing, and that slow climb back to love. It never felt rushed or forced—just honest and beautifully done.

I loved the South Indian culture woven throughout—the food, the field hockey, the sense of home. And I appreciated how authentically Anna handled both the realities of an unexpected pregnancy and the depiction of depression. She didn’t shy away from the realness, and that made the emotional beats hit even harder.

Tamara’s job as a sex room architect was fresh, unexpected, and perfectly suited to her bold personality. The spice was just right—hot, but rooted in love, even when they were fighting their feelings.

Tamara and Patrick (aka Lotus and Trick 😍) had me rooting for them the whole way. Their chemistry, tension, growth, and tenderness—it all landed. And catching up with Vera and Elias from Stumped was such a nice bonus. I’m already counting down to book three.

I friggin loved this 😭 Tamara and Patrick's relationship was gorgeous and depicted in such a realistic way that oftentimes I felt like I was THERE with them.

There was banter, therapy, frustrating moments, spicy moments, swoon-worthy moments, and incredibly DOMESTIC moments that really tied the whole book and their relationship together.

Anna depicted mental health and how people struggle with certain things differently wonderfully and it was so nice to see characters who handled it healthily. Tamara and Patrick were the perfect couple—even with the rocky beginning—and I couldn't have pictured them written in any other way but the way they were.

Like with any book, check the trigger and content warnings, even though this was a fluffy book there is mention of off-page cheating (not between MCs), off-page deaths, depictions of panic attacks, and mention of suicidal thoughts

If all my favorite tropes were wrapped up in a single book, this would be it! Surprise pregnancy? Check! Second chance? Check! Forced proximity? Check!

Tamara and Patrick fell in love at summer camp as teens and spent five years in love. When Patrick doesn't show up one summer though, Tamara hardens her heart against him. That is, until she sees him 20 years later and decides 24 hours to get it out of her system is the right idea. Weeks later though, she's feeling sick and...well, you get the idea.

I absolutely LOVED the way that 'Trick' took care of 'Lotus' during her pregnancy and how happy it made him to do so. The mental health rep in this is also on point. Patrick's symptoms of depression were so very relatable. This found family of friends and relations is so beautifully written.

Also...HOT! From mutual self-gratification to outdoor bangs, this was top tier spice 🥵

Anna P. as destroyed me with this one and I need fully three days to recover, at least.

Loads of romantic tropes I love are in this book - plus-size romance, surprise pregnancy, friends to enemies to lovers. It’s also a slow burn and angsty read where the main characters deal with anxiety & depression.

Once I got past the will she or won’t she commit to the relationship, I enjoyed the book more cause we all knew she was gonna get involved with him.

Tamara and Patrick met as teenagers at a sports summer camp where they fell in love. They went every summer until one summer he didn’t show up and Tamara held a 20 year grudge/hurt.

They meet again 20 years later and fireworks as well as an accidental pregnancy happen. The book delves into their respective mental health challenges, as well as how they find their way back to each other.

Kudos to Patrick for never giving up on Tamara, going the extra mile to make her feel safe and protected and for loving their unborn child. They get their HEA as they grow into their love and as people.

It was a nice comforting read.

I really enjoyed this one — the surprise pregnancy trope isn’t always my go-to, infact it's one i try to avoid, but the main characters had great chemistry and a lot more emotional depth than I expected. I loved the way they tried to figure things out together, and the mix of tension, awkwardness, and genuine care felt really believable. I loveddddd their history!

That said, I just wish their story had more time. Everything moved a bit too fast, especially in the middle where they're re-meeting or re-connecting, and I wanted to see them properly build their relationship instead of jumping straight to the happily ever after. They had such great potential as a couple — it just needed a few more chapters to really land.

Still, it was a sweet, easy read with plenty of feels. Perfect for a cosy weekend read.

First of all, thank you so much for letting me read and review this absolutely ravishing book Anna!

I am obsessed with Patrick and Tamara! They're both so insanely hot and badass. They have such good chemistry but also understanding, love and patience.

It was so great to see how the struggles and fears of pregnancy were portrayed. And not for a second it felt like they were together because of the baby. And that was pretty wholesome.

Seeing that they both have a support system of people who love them was wonderful. It's what everyone should have in their lives.

And the spice was spicing because dayummm! He rides a bike and she rides him I'd say🤭

Definitely loved it!!

Say hello to your new favorite Anna P. characters! Patrick and Tamara will hold your heart hostage, and while you will probably get mad at each of them at some point, I promise they will make up for it in the end.

These two are the ultimate match! Their banter is undefeated and all the teasing and flirting is a big part of what makes their relationship endgame in my opinion.

I love how they've been each other's first–and dare I say, only–love, and how they harbored these feelings all this time even while not being in each other's lives anymore.

After a surprise encounter due to Tamara's bestie, Vera, being in a relationship with Patrick's brother, I'm convinced that the surprise pregnancy was fate telling them to get over themselves and marry each other already 🤣

I loved them both and I think the characters and their "shortcomings" have been approached with love and care and it made them real and relatable.

Rebound is a second chance romance featuring a surprise pregnancy between two childhood sweethearts. It is funny, sweet, and spicy, and will have you coming back for more!!

I think no one is surprised anymore with how much I enjoy reading an Anna P. book. I think she shines (so brightly, I might add) in writing incredibly relatable characters. Which means they are complex, flawed, and real. I think one would struggle to find anyone they can’t relate to somehow.

You can feel the love and care Anna puts into her books, and THAT is my most favorite thing about reading them.

Rebound in a second chance romance, with a surprise pregnancy, between first loves (WHAT!) that will leave your heart smiling. I love these two. Three. I will forever be recommending Anna and her books.

Thank you so much for the ARC, Anna!

This was the first title that I've read by Anna P and it will not be my last!

Overall this was a good read that covers a variety of topics (miscarriage, mental illness, body image, etc) all while telling a cute story of friends reconnecting to become lovers. There were times when I was talking to my Kindle wishing that Tamara would get over herself and just let Patrick love her, and when she did...there was a lot of spice. I also loved their support system of family and friends, which is making me want to read the other novels in the series.

I appreciated having an ARC copy and having a (new to me) author on my radar

I bloomin’ adored this book. After ‘Stumped’, I was keen as curry to read more about Tamara and Patrick. Their story did not disappoint. Anna P. gets spice right, let me tell you. Even better, I adore the footnotes. It reminds me of author notes from when I used to read people’s work on FictionPress in the best way.
The downside for me was the pacing. But I get it. Tamara and Patrick had issues they needed to work through. I really appreciate that in Anna’s stories, the characters are flawed, they go to therapy, they feel real. Anyway. Please read this book. It’s worth every dollar (or currency of your country).

Anna is one of my favorite indie authors. She writes mental health rep and found family so well! And her books are full of sweet and spicy romances with strong empowered women and adorably whipped and strong men who wear their hearts on their sleeves for their women.

Lotus and Trick are no different.

If …
• surprise pregnancy from a rebound with her first love
• second chance
• mental health rep
• found family
• sports romance (heavy on romance light on sports)
• roommates
• sweet and spicy
… are your thing then Rebound is for you!

“The media always likes to paint women as the villains and the only thing we can do is ignore them.”

This. Exactly this. Romance books being sooooo much more than romance truly deserve all the love they can get. While the friends and family circle in this series is as lovely as ever, the discussion of difficult topics is something I really appreciated. Without being too overwhelming, Rebound has also managed to show me that the surprise baby trope isn’t all that bad.

“The way I love her is ridiculous, it scares me. It also comforts me.”

If this series has no fans, I'm dead. I had the time of my life with Patrick and Tamara, they had me kicking my feet, blushing, laughing, ad being right there with them when times got tough. I loved the setting, the characters, the families, the clear love Anna has for Chennai, and the warmth of found family infused throughout this book. I would kill to be friends with T & P, they are amazing characters!

A lovely second chance love story, where childhood sweethearts meet each other again 20 years later in life and fall hopelessly in love. Their personalities suit each other he’s the calm to her storm. What I really liked was that both main characters were that but older, so many books everyone is in their 20’s but these were nearing their 40’s which was really refreshing.
The mental health difficulties were handled well and helped the reader understand what they were going through.

Just a feel-good read with a lot of heart and a good amount of spice to keep it all light and fun! The journey of these characters was a bit complicated and emotional, making this book very deep and personal. I liked all of the dialogue and how well-written it all was. I felt very connected to these characters coming from their small part in book one. I can't wait for the next one!

Another knock out from Anna! Loved it! Finished my 2025 reading with this one and it was perfect. The representation Anna has in this book is top notch.
