Alexander has done it. With his knowledge from the time loop, the matter with Madam Arison has been sorted.
Aileen Arison, with his help, has broken free from the shackles of her overbearing mother, and she can now be fully in his harem without worries.
But there is still plenty on Alexander's list of things to do.
First thing on it? Meet his future father-in-law, Jasmine Doran's father, and ensure he abandons any idea of marrying his daughter to anyone else but him.
Second thing on the list? Going after one of the most dangerous women in the city, and working his charm on her.
Further far down? Dealing with James Sutherland, Jasmine's obsessed stalker as he finally makes a move, aiming for the life of Alexander.
Disclaimer: This book continues the story of a man's adventure post time-loop. So like before, expect an unapologetic MC, an ever-growing harem (Only one male, many multiple females. It will remain and end that way), and even more explicit scenes.
Reading the first three volumes is required for the story.
A common complaint I’ve had is the MC has not needed to use his time rewind power at all. The lack of any consequence or tension has made the majority of the book pretty mundane.
Color me surprised when the author actually makes use of this plot convenience 4 books later. Now the scenario leaves much to be desired but my complaint was addressed nonetheless.
There is again only one smut section but truly this one had me fanning my self like an embarrassed school girl (I’m 33 male lol). It was well done. Extremely spicy. And written with great detail that had the blood pumping. Great work on that.
Overall the plot is also developing more. There’s not a whole lot of interesting stuff happening. The MC as always is arrogant due to him never having any trouble. He knows everything and plans for every eventuality. The author throws in some moments that ‘somewhat’ surprise him but he just rolls with everything. I guess 10,000 years would make you numb to some things but it’s not a compelling character trait where his only defining features is knowing everything to manipulate people and his constant smile.
Still. I’m looking forward to the next book. It’s been a frustrating but interesting read.
While the underlying plot of this story has been interesting, the books aren't advancing very much. And the author is sorely misinformed about female anatomy. In the first book, he showed he clearly has no idea where the hymen is actually located, and in this book he showed he doesn't understand about how the cervix works. Sure, you could try to explain it away by the "alternate universe" trope in play, but it feels like the author has gained the female anatomy knowledge by reading poorly written erotica. This damaged an otherwise well written sex scene for me.
This one was a bit tighter, so 3.5 stars. Looks to be one harem member added/book, and the MC continues to be insufferably smug. Not sure why I'm still reading them, but I am so far. If we don't see some more dynamic plot elements (e.g. the system the MC supposedly benefits from showing itself to actually be more than a McGuffin) I'll likely drop this, as my limits for what we've seen to this point are pretty much reached.
More of the same. The MC does show a little more of his talents in this one. The overall story is progressing slowly. It really does seem like the MC is just trying to hook up with powerful untouchable women. Overall, I still enjoy the series.
Another amazing entry in the series. Jasmine really is the ultimate Tsundere. I've really enjoyed watching her character develop. I also really like the ways that Alexander keeps edging her on. I was really surprised by who the newest member of his harem is. At first I thought I knew what the author was going for, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Without spoiling anything I loved the morning after scene, very cute and well done. I also loved the ending, major character development for Alexander's main girl.
I've read 4 books of the series in the past week. I just couldn't put them down. Staying up late to finish them. The mix of the settings and characters keeps pulling me into the story and I just want more. I feel like the story is a snack I can eat without getting full and leaves me craving more. What twist will the MC spring on someone next? I wish I had a memory like him.
No much development in this edition, same over explanations.
Book 4 was really more of the same. Not a lot of character development except for adding another supporting cast. The pacing was somewhat better however over explaining dialogue and actions is still an issue You're probably always will be.
I am really enjoying this series. I have found myself waiting for each new book. I get it as soon as I find out it's out. The author needs an email list to join to get updates r
This series just gets better and better! It might have a few flaws with consistency and grammar, but overall it’s a very enticing story with an OP MC. The trap and restart was well done and I can’t wait for more to come!
This book was great. Much more action focused than some of the others. We really get to see how the MC handles themselves in a more traditional battlefield, rather than the boardroom.
Main character finally uses his actual main power. Exactly once. The rest of the time he continues to be OP because of his knowledge and infinite experience points/skills. I have to give it 4 stars because it could use an editor. Way too many exclamation marks. I listen to books with an app, so I don't hear them, but when reading it gets jarring when you have 7 in 7 sentences in a row.
