A sizzling, only one bed set in paradise romance. Perfect for fans of Tessa Bailey, Christina Lauren and Hannah Grace!
A holiday escape, with an unexpected plot twist!
Indigo Hughes has had enough. After spending her life taking care of everyone else, it’s about time she puts herself first. Especially since she’s been unceremoniously dumped. So, what better way to look after number one than a much-needed holiday alone on the Amalfi Coast. Fine food, stunning views and time to heal her wounded heart…bliss!
But arriving in paradise isn’t as serene as Indigo expects. The hotel has lost her booking…and that of very sexy stranger, Julien Moreaux. Both are enraged! But thankfully, there is one suite left in the resort, they’ll just have to share it until the problem can be fixed.
The man she must temporarily suite-share with is cynical, sexy and recently divorced—exactly the kind of man Indigo should avoid, but now has no choice! And as much as she tries to ignore it, there is an undeniable crackle of chemistry between them. All Indigo has to do is get through the next seven days. But it doesn’t take either of them long to realise, sometimes when the best-laid plans don’t go to plan, it can actually turn into fun!
Formerly a Video and Radio Producer, Christy now spends her time writing provocative, passionate, seductive romance. When she’s not writing, she can be found enjoying life with her husband and three children, walking for pleasure and researching other people’s deepest secrets and desires.
Christy, girl I'm so sorry to be the 1st review of this book, but I didn't like it at all. Where was the ROMANCE? FMC kept throwing herself at MMC the ENTIRE book only for him to reject her time and time again. She literally begged him Merideth Grey style "pick me, choose me, love me". I'm fucking SICKKK.
And what had she fallen for anyway? She fell in love with that man within 48hrs, and the only thing we know about him is that he's divorced and French. The author keeps reminding us of the latter by sprinkling in a shit ton of ouis and nons throughout the book.
By the time they did FINALLY get together in the last 10 pages, it just didn't feel natural/believable (and I didn't care)
DNF. I couldn't get past the first chapter. The female lead decided to pack her mobile phone and half of her money in a backpack that was then lost by the airline. Her ex BF supposedly booked the non refundable accommodation but she doesn't have booking confirmation. She rocks up at the hotel and the receptionist tells her that they dont have her booking. Sorry it was impossible for me to continue reading about a FL that is dense.
