(This is part of a trilogy and not to be read as a standalone. It is advised to read Behind the Falls and Cure first.)
I had the absolute pleasure of reading an Advanced Reader Copy of this book last year, and it has haunted me ever since. This series is a must read if you want angst, anxiety, and understanding. This book dives into real problems facing those with depression, anxiety, toxic relationships, and those coming to terms with their sexual orientation. Brenda’s writing is hyper realistic, perfectly capturing the realities of mental health struggles, while also helping her characters to overcome what they never thought possible. An absolutely beautiful series that I cannot recommend enough times. Will be keeping my eyes peeled for more from this incredible new author!
