Start the horror where it began — The Bloom Trilogy is now complete.
There's a small town in western Massachusetts empty now, left behind like a bad dream. But the truth runs deeper. Girls used to go missing. Pregnant girls. And the forest? It remembers every one of them. As something ancient stirs beneath the soil, one woman must confront her family's hidden past, a town's violent silence, and the thing in the woods that's been waiting for her to come home.
I loved this creepy little page turner! If you like small-town mysteries with a supernatural twist, definitely give this a read. A super strong debut—I’m excited to see what Angelina writes next!
This is a GREAT novella! It grabbed me from page one! I had a feeling of dread and anxiety while reading trying to figure out what was lurking just out of sight. I immediately jumped to the next novella in the series. If you're in a. Reading slump this novella will pull you out of it.
The Bloom is one of those rare horror novels that crawls under your skin and stays there. The atmosphere is chilling, the lore is deep, and the writing is hauntingly beautiful. Even without smut, it’s still absolutely amazing — raw, immersive, and impossible to put down. If you love small-town mysteries, eerie folklore, and stories that blur the line between reality and nightmare, this is a must-read. Angie has created something unforgettable, and I can’t wait for the rest of the trilogy!
The Bloom is a stunning piece of work that blends poetic prose with a compelling storyline. The author masterfully explores themes of growth, resilience, and self-discovery, delivering a narrative that is both thought-provoking and beautifully written. The pacing is excellent, the characters feel authentic, and the imagery is powerful and memorable. This is a remarkable debut that deserves recognition, and I look forward to reading more from Angie M.
Omg, what did I just read? This book had me spooked. This was a quick read that had me hooked from the beginning. I couldn’t put it down because I truly couldn’t figure out what was going to happen. When I read I always put myself in the story as the character and she was defiantly braver than I would have been. I don’t want to spoil anything for you, but if you want a scary, on the edge of your seat quick story that might keep you up at night then this is for you.
The Bloom by Angie is an absolute page turner! From the eerie vibes of the small town to the creeping supernatural force at its center, this book had me hooked from the very beginning. The suspense was perfectly paced, always leaving me guessing what would happen next. It’s creepy, gripping, and so well-written I couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to see what Angie writes next!
This little book was good. A short but intriguing read. It gave me goosebumps while reading it during the middle section. Great ending as well. If you need something short and slightly creepy I definitely recommend this book!
Just finished reading The Bloom on Kindle Unlimited and wow, what a haunting start to this trilogy.
From the first page, the atmosphere hooked me. A deserted small town in western Massachusetts, whispers of missing girls, and a forest that seems almost alive, it’s eerie in the best possible way. The writing is dark and lyrical, and there’s this creeping dread that never lets up.
What really got me was the mix of mystery and horror the way the story ties together a woman’s personal reckoning with her family’s secrets and the town’s buried sins. It’s not just monsters in the woods; it’s about what people choose to hide and what the land refuses to forget.
If you love unsettling, slow burn horror with roots that go deep (literally), this one will stick with you long after you close the book. The perfect beginning to a chilling trilogy. 🌸
I enjoyed it as a quick read but felt like there should have been more.
If there were more details of the backstory, maybe I wouldn't have been confused throughout my reading. The old man's character was confusing as well. I don't think he, and the scenes he was in was necessary for the storyline.
