All the Little Moments

Rate this book
Life is comprised of little moments creating a trajectory of things you never expected. And for 17-year-old Tatum Rothchild, she would soon discover that. With an unplanned teenage pregnancy and parents threatening to take away her daughter, Tatum decides the only thing she can do is run away.

But things take a surprising turn when help comes from the last person she ever expected to see again—her best friend’s older half-brother, Chase. He needs money and she needs a getaway car. They strike a deal and embark on a journey of self-discovery and what life is like on the road. But the more nights they spend together, the more Tatum doesn’t want to let him go. What happens when their adventure comes to an end? Will Tatum and her daughter find the family she’s always longed for?

This is such a cute, feel good read. It’s a story I haven’t heard before, with all the cutesy tropes we love. It has family drama, romance, redemption, twizzlers, just all the things! Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Cute, quick read. It was a nice little break from the heavy stuff I’ve been reading lately.
I also love the tropes in the book.
It’s not that it was a bad book, but I gave it 2 stars because there wasn’t anything that kept me hooked or wondering what would happen next. Just cute little details of a road trip and people slowly falling in love.

UMMMM excuse me @savannahreedauthor … who gave you the right to play with my emotions like that! I haven't sat down and binged a book so quickly in so long like I did this one.

From page one, I was IN. Tatum had me in my feels immediatel. This girl is thrown into adulthood way too fast, and watching her grow, struggle, and keep pushing was honestly beautiful.

And then there’s Chase....The way their connection builds...it felt so real. I was fully rooting for them the entire time. Their dynamic had the perfect mix of trust, vulnerability, and a little bit of chaos (in the best way).

Also, can we talk about the found family vibes once they reach their final destination?! My heart was full. It gave the story this warm, hopeful layer that made all the tough moments feel worth it.

The only thing I’d change… I WAS NOT READY FOR THAT ENDING. It ended way too soon and I was just sitting there like, “No no no, I need more!!”

This book made me feel everything - joy, heartbreak, hope - all of it. 10/10 recommend if you love emotional journeys, found family, and characters you can truly root for. Also the cravings for twizzlers was real haha.

Thank you so much @5princepub for sending me a copy!!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Savannah, the author, during her visit to Chicago to promote her debut novel. Her excitement and warmth were infectious, and I couldn’t resist buying the book to support her—even though contemporary romance isn’t usually my go-to genre, as I typically prefer dark romance.

This heartfelt story follows two young people on a road trip from different backgrounds who are each dealing with significant challenges in their lives. Despite their differences, they share a profound need for love and acceptance—not for who others want them to be, but for who they truly are. The characters’ journeys felt authentic and moving, and the book’s themes of identity and acceptance resonated deeply with me.

Overall, this book is a touching and honest exploration of love and self-acceptance that I would recommend to readers who enjoy emotionally driven stories. It was a refreshing and rewarding read, and I’m glad I took a chance on it.

3.5 rounded up!

I really liked this one! The story felt very raw and natural and the pacing in the first half was perfection. There was absolutely no filler, it was direct and straight to the point. That being said, the end- when they settle- felt rushed and I wished we would have gotten to know Mary, Conrad, and the town a bit more. That truly is my only gripe.

Tatum and Chase are adorbs and were totally oblivious to one another- and i def think this could have made a great dual POV. With all this in mind, you can really tell Reed put a lot of work into the story and how to make the plot and characters shine at the exact same time, which is why I really did enjoy this one. Can’t wait to go to an author talk with her this week!!

This was such a fun, sweet read. The main character is interesting and likeable without being annoyingly perfect and I found myself caring about her right away, and thinking about her long after the story ended, which to me is the mark of a really good book!

So so so good!! It’s a story that I haven’t seen done before and it was written so well. I wish I could forget what happened so I could read it over and over again like it was the first time 🤩
