A mother for Alice Ann His little girl thinks Melissa should be her nanny. After all, she’s kind, pretty and she smells nice. Gregory isn’t entirely convinced that those are the best qualifications to care for his precious daughter, but he’s prepared to give Melissa a chance. Joan Kilby is the award-winning author of thirty contemporary romance novels. Originally from Canada, Joan studied to be a marine biologist and worked for many years in the field of environmental biology. In mid-life she returned to her first love--writing--and never looked back. These days Joan lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and three children. She loves to cook and grows her own herbs, fruit and vegetables. Other interests include hiking, yoga and travel. She once spent six months sailing the South Pacific on a fifty-five foot sailboat built and skippered by her father. An oldie from storage that I must have read years ago, before I joined GR. In this read, I enjoyed it, though the heroine is relatively frivolous. I can't recall too much about it, since I read it last week, which suggests it is not the most memorable work in the pack, but I do know it did its job and entertained for a day.

What fun, fast read! I haven't read a Harlequin in years. Now I can't remember why I stopped reading them.
