When my friends Raquel and Hamish decide to have their wedding in Ketchikan, Alaska—only a relatively short flight from Seattle, where I ended up after a nasty breakup with my cheating ex—my BFF Lindsey has what she thinks is a genius bring a hot fake boyfriend to the wedding just to piss off Hayes. It’s stupid, immature, and bound to backfire somehow; it always does. But for Raquel and Hamish, I agree to go to the wedding. I go to Ketchikan and check out the bar where they plan on partying after the wedding, and meet a gorgeous, flirtatious, charming guy, and suddenly Lindsey’s plan doesn’t seem so stupid. Maybe a fun weekend with a gorgeous guy is just what I need to shake myself out of the post-breakup funk.
Duncan Badd, my fake date, turns out to be problematically charming, sexy, and tempting. One thing turns into another, and suddenly I’m in bed with a man who makes my pulse race and my cold, dead, bitter, broken heart do funny and inconveniently squishy things. Too bad I have no intention of sticking around after the wedding.
But then I discover life has other plans for me.

Rune Rigby is a smokeshow. Fine as hell. Sarcastic, witty, scorching hot, and fiercely independent. I discern all this within the first few minutes of meeting her—when she asks me to be her date to a friend’s wedding, to make jealous her cheating butt-nugget of an ex. Fine by me—spend a weekend with a hot girl and her friends? Sign me up.
When things between Rune and I escalate into the hottest sex of my life, a weekend of casual fun turns into very real feelings I can’t deny.
She can, though. And she does.
It’s only a truly unexpected turn of fate that brings her back to me, forcing us to face our fears, our feelings, and our plans for the future.

Rune and Duncan meet at Badd Kitty and you can see and feel sparks fly. Duncan is certainly a Badd and he is charming but also great guy. Rune is on holidays but she is also running from her emotions. While sparks fly, will it turn into more? I absolutely adored this story and cannot wait for the next Badd to fall.
Jumping into next gen Badd babies is so much fun. I enjoyed being wrapped up in Duncan & Rune love story and eventually HEA. I love her name!! This book is equal parts alpha, spice, and steam. Perfect quick read to enjoy.
I am SOO happy to be back in Alaska with the Badds!!
If you haven't experienced this series - where have you been!?! Get to it, right now!!
Admittedly, you have a bunch of reading to catch up on, if you're just starting, but it's entirely worth it, for the layers to this storyline. Each Badd (and Goode) family member is going to steal a piece of your heart, and live there, rent free, for a long time. BUT - if you just want to dive into a super steamy, fun read - do it! Duncan and Rune are easy to enjoy, and have amazing chemistry. Everything seems to start at Badd Kitty, and this is no different. Duncan's instant attraction was flirty and entertaining, and I loved how he kept surprising Rune with what she needed. In more ways than one, hehehe...
I happily lost myself in this world, and really enjoyed my time with all of these characters. I cannot wait for more of this second (third?) generation storyline. Seriously, if you haven't read these books, one click, right now. You'll be glad you did.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 21st book in The Badd Brothers series. Each book can be read as s standalone. After finding out her boyfriend was cheating on her, Rune has been running for the last two months. Ketchikan, Alaskan is the last stop before it's time to head home and start rebuilding her life. Her friends are getting married here and with that comes seeing her ex again. After meeting Duncan she knows just the way to get through this wedding. Bring a hot guy and make the ex jealous. Now to convince him to be her fake date. The chemistry between these two was off the charts. I loved these two and can't wait for the next Badd Brothers book.
It’s always a good time in Ketchikan with the Badd crew. Sebastian and Drew were always my favorite couple so I’ve enjoyed getting to read about their kids. When Duncan meets Rune you can just see the sparks fly between them. Hayes motherf*cking Willoughby did her a favor.
There’s plenty of spice and steam. Plenty of Badd appearances and for those who’ve never read the series I feel you could follow along as if this was a stand alone.
I absolutely can’t wait until Badd Love because Jasinda, that cliffhanger epilogue has me needing more from my favorite family.
I've been here for the whole Badd family's love stories... I love seeing my favorite characters as parents and grandparents, and their children's stories.... I love finding authors who can successfully write a series that is cohesively and consistent in its storytelling.. Jacinda does a great job...
So glad for the Badd Family to return! They are on of my favorite families to read, so I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with them, and getting a new story. Excited to see what comes next for the next generation.
I loved it!The characters were so well written it was as if I knew them!l loved Duncan, what a great guy he was and Rune who was getting over a bad break up and didn’t want a relationship had me wishing her to see him as a possible future.I love the Badd family and their relationships with each other and their generosity with people they don’t even know. You hit this one out of the park Jasinda Wilder!
Book 21. Can be read as a standalone. You will definitely want to read the others.
Troupes Fake Date One Bed
Duncan and Rune.
Second Generation of the Badd family. Their story did not disappoint. Down to earth, hard working and a family that love and support each other. Perfect ending. Jasinda never fails in making the story complete No loose ends.
21 books in this series and not a dud in the pack. I hesitated going from the Badd's to the Goode's but NOPE that family pulled me in as well. Then I hesitated with the next generation , but NOPE all amazing! JW is a solid writer that tugs at your heart with every story. I'm excited to keep reading!!
I so enjoy the Badd clan and this story did not disappoint. I forced myself to read this one slowly because I didn't want it to end! Can't wait for the next one in the 2nd generation. Would recommend this book.
I absolutely loved this book! So glad the series is continuing and am impatiently waiting for the next book!!! I cannot wait to see what happens next!! Highly recommend this series!!!
I love the Badd and Goode books, read them as soon as they come out. Only discovered them in the last year and have read them all. This one is hot and this Badd is so good.
Wow, great story to continue the Badd Brothers.....
Wasn't sure how this was going to spin together. The confession by Rune's parents.....hot! And her dad, kinda wonder it he knows Uncle Bax? Dane and Linz, next book coming up.
I wasn't sure how a baby could add to the Badd story, but of course I had to read and see. I loved this book just as much as the rest of the series! The Badds and Goodes were just as involved as I hoped. Keep this series going through more generations.
Duncan is bast and drus son and has taken over managing bad kitty. Rune is a girl in Alaska checking out the town where her friends are having a destination wedding. But she’s also just getting over a bad breakup where her idiot boyfriend cheated on her and was an all around ass for two years. So he’s going to be at the wedding and Rune is looking for a date to make him jealous. Cue hot as fuck Duncan. He agrees to be her date. Then the wedding destination burns down and Rune is scrambling to help her friends find a new place to get married. But it’s tourist season and everything is booked up solid. She asks Duncan what she should do and he pulls all the stops - gets the badd restaurant in anchorage to do the wedding and find a hotel to take the guests. He gets his uncle to fly them there. And he even gets his famous aunt to lend her yacht to the happy couple for the night before. He hooks up with rune and the badd love spell takes hold but after the wedding and a night of drunken debauchery, rune takes off back to LA with a shitty goodbye text. A month and a half later rune finds out she’s pregnant and calls Duncan at 4am to tell him. He’s been miserable and she’s been miserable and at 4am Duncan was having a heart to heart with his mother, who overheard the conversation where rune told Duncan she didn’t want anything from him then hung up and blocked him. So Duncan and his brother go to LA, find rune with her parents and have a chat. After lots of consideration, rune decides to move to Ketchikan. Her parents are going to go traveling and decide to move their lives to Alaska too and her bestie also decides she will head to Alaska. Duncan’s brother Dane has an eye in bff Lindsey. Duncan and rune get engaged and move upstairs from badds bar where the family apartment is.

One decision changes lives forever, in the best way possible. Rune is in Ketchikan getting over her ex-boyfriend. She needs a date to a wedding, her ex will be there, and she asks Duncan. All she knows about him is that he is a bartender and extremely good looking. He readily accepts and things snowball from there. Every time something happens, Duncan fixes the problem. Unfortunately, even though there is a connection, they both know there is an expiration date to whatever is going on between them.
I'm not sure I have anything bad to say about Duncan. He is honestly the most generous, open, honest and loveable character I have read in a long time. He wants to help her, and her friends, in any way he can, so she is happy. He definitely falls first or is the first to acknowledge it (to himself at least). She falls for him, but she is hesitant due to her cheating ex. As they spend more time together, with him putting her in the driver's seat with how fast they move, they get to know each other better.
When they finally give in and act on their mutual attraction, the rightness spooks Rune and she leaves town. I kind of disliked her at this point, due to the brush off she gave him. When she finds out that she is pregnant, she lets him know and immediately tries to let him off the hook. Her friends and family, as well as his, are perfect examples of how to be supportive, yet tell the hard truth to people.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to catching up in the series. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.
Another member of the Badd family gets bitten by the love bug. Duncan Badd is every girl's dream. He's gorgeous, generous, considerate, caring, loyal and tries to please his woman before himself. He's the GM at the Badd Kitty and he works hard. He bartends and makes sure the customers enjoy themselves without any hassle. If you're bad at the Badd Kitty, you're out. So when he's working one night and this strikingly beautiful woman sits at the bar, he can't avoid some fun chatter and a lot of flirting. Rune is there for one of her closet friend's wedding. If something can go wrong it does. Not knowing anyone there Rune turns to Duncan for his knowledge of the area. She also needs a plus one as her douche bag ex will be there. But Duncan goes above and beyond fixing each and every problem. The sizzling chemistry between these two is combustible and it finally combusts. Their time together is amazing in all aspects. They're like peanut butter and jelly. But there's an expiration date on Rune's time there. Duncan has his life and family in Ketchikan. He can't go with Rune and she's determined to go home no matter what. This is another incredible book by Jasinda Wilder. I absolutely love her stories. She's also a beautiful person inside and out. Especially with her readers. If you haven't read her books, you're missing out on hours of enjoyment, laughter and yes some tears. So stop missing out and grab book one. You've got a lot of catching up to do.
Duncan and Rune were very cute at the start, the attraction off the charts and I liked that they went for it. Where things took a turn for the worst was when it seemed like both of them realized the caught feelings and reacted in different ways. Rune ran, while Duncan had to deal with her running. You could tell that had she not turned up pregnant, she probably would have never contacted Duncan again, which would have been a big loss for them both.
I liked how Duncan was when he went after her. Calm and just wanted to talk. It helped that her family was around to help her deal with all the feelings she'd been pushing down and they helped Rune see some things in a different light.
It was nice to see how this ended for the couple, they fought hard to end at a happy spot. I do find myself intrigued by Dane and Lindsay, which should be fun to read about them next.

When your cheating ex forces you to re-evaluate your life, what's a girl to do except take a two month break from life ... and end up in Alaska. Then by the craziest chain of events, need some assistance from a guy who knows the town and people. Said guy agrees to be your fake date to your friends destination wedding in... you guessed it ..Alaska. Throw in the family we can't get enough of and hold on for this ride!
Badd Baby is book 21 in the Badd Brothers series by Jasinda Wilder. This is Duncan and Rune’s story and as with the others in this series I was hooked from the start. This can be read as a standalone but it really makes it better if you’ve read the others. There is lots of steamy chemistry with twist and surprises. I really loved this book and highly recommend it.
Another Badd Brothers book! This was a good one, lots of funny, inappropriate banter, family helping out (or slightly over stepping) and lots of spice.
My only gripe with this one was Rune just kept running away & not letting any of the truth people were telling her sink in. After the 3rd or 4th time she took of it got old.
This is the 20th book in the Badd Brothers series. It is the story of Bast and Dru Badd’s oldest son, Duncan and visitor Rune Riggs. Rune needs a fake date for a wedding her ex will be attending. Duncan is available and sparks fly.
