I thought surviving senior year at elite Hillcrest Academy would be my biggest challenge. I was wrong. Mason Carter—hockey captain, golden boy, heir to everything I'll never have—decides I don't belong in his world. What starts as spilled coffee becomes systematic psychological warfare designed to break me completely. He doesn't just want to humiliate me. He wants to erase me.

Aria Martinez scares the hell out of me, so I decide to destroy her before she can destroy me. What starts as casual cruelty becomes an obsession. I orchestrate her public humiliation with surgical precision, poison every potential friendship, expose her most private pain for entertainment. I make her afraid to speak, to hope, to exist. But somewhere between breaking her and rebuilding the pieces, the line between love and hate disappears entirely. A story about the razor's edge between obsession and love, and what happens when two people destroy each other so completely that rebuilding becomes their only path to survival. This is a dark high school hockey bully romance filled with psychological warfare, twisted obsession, and the kind of enemies-to-lovers tension that will have you throwing your phone one minute and swooning the next. With morally gray characters, genuine redemption, and a love story that grows from the ashes of destruction, this emotional roller coaster will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.
Story does not flow from one chapter to the next! I wanted to like it but there so much the does not make sene her father passed away and all of sudden he is not dead??? Very inconsistent and very back and forth
DNF 50% in I wish I could get my money back had a promising plot but needs to be heavily edited. Chapter POVs were contradicting each other and resulted in me having a migraine trying to go back reread chapters to make sure I understood what I had just read. Don’t waste your 5 dollars
Great idea for a story, but this is all over the place. End of one chapter she says you have one chance, beginning of next chapter is a different view from the previous chapter but ends with no chance. I had a hard time figuring out what was going on.
