Clean Plate

Rate this book
She said she wanted to feed the world... she didn’t say what was on the menu.

Delilah is a rising star in the private chef scene—stylish, charming, and deadly precise with a knife. But behind the curated dishes and picture-perfect plating lies a craving she can’t quite tame. When a suspicious client begins to ask too many questions and one of her signature meals draws a little too much attention, Delilah’s carefully stacked world threatens to collapse.

This twisted novella-length tale of culinary terror is as sharp as a carving knife and just as messy.

Perfect for fans of Fresh, Servant, and stories where the kitchen is the most dangerous room in the house.

I need this chef for people in life that I want to be rid of.

The authors did a great job on this twisted and disturbing read! I’m not sure if I’ll eat a fancy restaurant ever again. I like the way the authors compared the disturbing events to how we feel about ourselves sometimes. I recommend this book. And let me tell you something for free, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK ON AN EMPTY STOMACH😂😂

This was different from my usual reads but in the best way. Chef Delilah is renowned for the Unique culinary experience she offers her private tasting guest. Booked solid months in advance a secret brews in the kitchen. I enjoyed the way the story was setup a creative spin within each chapter it flowed well and kept my attention from start to finish. This was a quick read one sitting at the end I was looking for more recipes. I was satisfied with the ending and would recommend this book.

Interesting...

While I enjoyed the scenes, the ingredients, the instructions and the chef's notes, what would have rounded out the book for me is a chapter before each of those entries about the victim and what led to that person needing to be next up as part of the creation. When the story is that detail oriented, that just feels like a huge piece that's missing. But otherwise, it was a quick fun, slightly disturbing read.

Belladonna’s menu changes everyday but, every meal is to die for! Reservations have to be made three months ahead, but if you talk to head chef Delilah just right, she may let you in for a special private tasting!

This is a must read! The writing is so eloquent, elegant, and yet perfectly haunting. The ending leaves you wanting more, once you get a taste of Delilah, you won't be able to get her out of your head.
