“We’re going to ruin you. So you better tell me now if you want us to stop.”
To save my sisters, I fled the only home I’ve ever known.
And ran straight into the arms of two women designed to tempt me into damnation.
Sweet, caring Ivy, with her bright smile and gentle words. Even her touch is like an angel’s, soft and tender and full of promise.
Then there’s Cordelia. Strict and commanding, with emerald eyes that make me want to drop to my knees and beg her for pleasures I barely understand. She is Ivy’s complete opposite in every way.
Except for how she makes my blood heat with need and my body cry out for her touch. Everything I was taught tells me it’s wrong to want even one of them.
Wanting both of them? A one-way ticket to hell.
But if that’s what loving them gets me… then I’ll greet the devil with a smile on my face.
No words can describe the depth of emotions I felt while reading this incredible story. From the very beginning I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. The love I feel for Cordelia, Ivy and Jacob is so deep down in my soul. Cordelia has a past that broke my heart but she is so strong and resilient that I knew she was okay. She has her beautiful submissive in her life, Ivy, who adores Cordelia. Their life was so good and then Jacob comes into the picture. A person with a tie to Cordelia’s past. He has come seeking help and what better person than Cordelia to protect him. This journey is about an awakening, a new lust, a new love and a new beginning. I adore Ivy with her bit of brattiness and her undying love for Cordelia and with such a big heart to bring Jacob into their life. And Cordelia just tugged at my heartstrings with her devotion to Ivy and Jacob. And Jacob? How could I not fall in love with this beautiful man. What an endearing throuple! With that said, I can’t recommend this book highly enough!
This book!!!!!! I used to not be into FF but since I started reading authors who have this, I've discovered that I really love it. And Stella Moore has written what will be one of my favorite books this year. Cordelia escaped a religious cult when she was young and has never looked back. She went through so much trauma while there that she couldn't stand being with a man, so when Ivy comes into her world, she fully goes into Domme mode. Ivy is so sweet and you can tell these two ladies have a very special and very loving relationship. When Jacob escapes the same cult and comes looking for help to save his sisters, both Ivy and Cordelia take him under their wings and help him. He's completely and totally innocent of the way of the real world because of his upbringing. Jacob captured by heart and I fell for him almost immediately. But the past has a way of coming back to haunt you and when it does, things get rough. Cordelia never told Ivy exactly what happened to her then and it causes a minor rift in their relationship. Not only that, Jacob has to struggle with seeing his mother. This was such an emotional story and my heart broke for Cordelia and Jacob after seeing what they went though. Beautifully written, heartbreaking but it ends with an HEA for the three of them. This book is one I will recommend to EVERYONE!!!!!
"Melt for Us, Daddy" is the fourth book in Stella Moore's heartfelt "Big Daddy Energy" series. Cordelia's journey is profoundly compelling; she escaped a religious cult in her youth and has bravely forged her own path. The trauma she endured left her struggling with intimacy, particularly with men, until Ivy entered her life. In Ivy, Cordelia finds a kindred spirit, and their sweet and loving relationship blossoms.
When Jacob, also a survivor of the same cult, reaches out for help to save his sisters, both Ivy and Cordelia welcome him with open arms. Jacob is incredibly innocent about the outside world, a reflection of his difficult upbringing, and it’s easy to feel compassion for him. However, as they all navigate the complexities of their pasts, the challenges become real. Cordelia's hesitance to share her full story with Ivy leads to a strain in their relationship, and Jacob faces the daunting task of confronting his mother again.
This story is an emotional journey that resonated deeply with me; my heart went out to both Cordelia and Jacob as they faced their struggles. The writing beautifully captures their pain, yet it also highlights their resilience. Though the narrative is filled with heartache, the story concludes with a well-earned happy ending for all three characters. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone seeking a touching and transformative read.
This is a very gripping BDSM-based romance with two of the three characters being survivors of a horribly abusive religious cult.
Cordelia had escaped a brutal marriage to the cult leader years earlier and put herself together to become a sharp, independent woman who is also a fierce Domme in a local BDSM club. She has built a loving and beautiful relationship with Ivy, who is a delightful and very intelligent teacher and, yeah, sub. (Also more than a bit of a brat).
Jacob is the grandson of the cult leader and manages to escape before he gets too trapped and goes for help to save his sisters. And he finds that he is sexually submissive.
So the book has ALL the hooks to work with. Jacob coming to grips with his unconventional desires. The peril of the cult trying to recapture Jacob (or even Cordelia). The building of the FFM relationship.
And, yeah, the author handles it all quite well. The book is quite fine. It fits well with the other books in the series -- but, honestly, I think the "Daddy" theme for Cordelia is really more of a hook into the "Big Daddy Energy" name of the club than really intrinsic and obvious for Cordelia. But it works.
A wonderfully written story that captivates and shows how love can conquer all in any relati Cordelia and Ivy are a couple in a long-established committed D/s dynamic with a tiny bit of little girl element also thrown into the mix just to keep things interesting and they have been in a solid and committed relationship for a number of years. Jacob comes into the picture as he is searching for his sister and comes across the happily solid couple and they discover that he actually brings another element to their relationship which the realise they have been missing. Although it is not always easy between the three often an important element can make all the difference and this is very much the case, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and I thought the way each of the individuals were ready to fight for each other’s happiness and love regardless of the attitude from outside influences, they knew what they needed and what they wanted and they would not let anyone stand in their way. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
This book by Ms. Moore stole my breath away. It’s brimming with tension, drama, danger, heartache, suspense, fear, loss, hope, soul, respect, love, and trust. It isn’t a slow burn but a baptism of fire that deeply touched me. The pages turned effortlessly as I became immersed in the characters, their relationships, and the obstacles they faced.
The pain Cordelia and Jacob endured at the hands of those meant to love and nurture them broke my heart. Cordelia and Ivy already shared a happy, established, and deeply loving D/s relationship and had no intention of adding someone new until Jacob entered their lives. Cordelia, sometimes strict but always empathetic, carried scars from her past, yet I admired her honesty and willingness to apologize when she was wrong. I also admired Cordelia for her courage, allowing herself to be vulnerable with parts of herself that she had long ago locked away. Ivy was submissive yet sassy, feisty, loyal, and fiercely protective of Cordelia and Jacob. She thrived on order and discipline; her brattiness sometimes made me adore her even more. I only wish we’d learned a little more about her background.
Jacob’s story gripped me the most. His bravery in fleeing his home to seek help for his sisters, his vulnerability, and his emotional growth were profoundly moving. Watching him struggle, yet find acceptance and love with Cordelia and Ivy, made me want to wrap him in a hug.
This complex story is powerful and deeply emotional. It is entertaining and well-written, with an intriguing plot, richly developed characters (both main and secondary), and an authenticity that lingers long after the final page.
Wow. This book made me laugh, made me cry and made me so so happy. The fourth book in the Big Daddy Energy series. It has the big hitting story line that has been brewing all series. Cordelia and Ivy have been consistent since the beginning. A complex and defined relationship, they have been the safe harbour for their friends. Now their world is turned upside down by the arrival of Jacob. A complicated history becomes even more intense as truths unfolds and injustices are healed. I love this book. The characters are enticing and honest. The emotion flows from the page drawing you in and not letting go. The relationship is so nuanced and caring. The depth of emotion and heartbreak is physical. This relationship and friend group is the dream 💖💖💖 I highly recommend this book, series and author. She is fast becoming one of my favourite authors and I am reading everything she has written. Please enjoy this series, you won't regret the decision to give it a go.
I loved, loved, loved this story. First, we have Cordelia and Ivy, an established couple in a D/s dynamic with a bit of lg thrown in. These two are solid, until past secrets come to light and rock their world. And we have Jacob, who is on a mission to save his sisters. And who happens to have an unusual connection to one of our happily solid couple. I have never had the experiences of these characters. I've never been in the types of relationships these characters are in. I felt such an affinity for these three. This was a love story for the ages. The ups and downs, the need to communicate and be vulnerable to your partner, the ability to open yourself to experiences, even if they scare you. I loved how all these characters grew and still remained the same essential character. I cried for these characters and cheered with them as well. Their HEA was so worth the journey and I know what stories/characters I want for your next series.
Melt for Us, Daddy is the 4th book in the Big Daddy Energy series and I highly recommend reading the books in order because the story of Cordelia and Ivy really starts at the beginning of the series as we get to know them in cameo appearances. An established couple deeply committed to each other and their dynamic at the beginning of the book, the arrival of Jacob in their lives sends them on a road of discovery that is neither easy nor straightforward. It's heartbreaking, cute, steamy, sweet, emotional and an ode to personal strength and integrity all rolled into one. Some incredibly difficult and heavy subjects form the foundation and background and I applaud the author for the empathetic way they are integrated into a beautiful love story with a best-possible, HEA, outcome. I was fortunate to have received an early copy, am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly and I'm looking forward to meeting all these lovely characters again in the future!
I found this book raised many strong feelings. A sense of outrage, helplessness, empathy and a desire for good, just and right to overcome evil. This book had it all.
The subject matter was compelling, so believable that it evoked complex emotions. As serious as the subject matter is, there is still plenty of humour and wit to carry the story.
I loved the characters and the growth they experienced. Jacob is so innocent that I felt as protective as Cordelia and Ivy towards him. Trust, earned and learned is the crux of their dynamic.
I enjoyed the peek into Ivy's psyche as she thrives on routine and order, the why and how it focuses her. Cordelia's story made me want to weep. She is wonderfully portrayed as a strong individual with definite trauma to overcome.
I love when a book draws me in so much I resent having a life outside reading. I felt that about Jacob, Ivy and Cordelia's story from the beginning. Ivy was so sweet and caring and she had some hiccups with Jacob but worked through it. Ivy was someone I loved reading about. Cordelia had been through some horrible stuff before she escaped and it certainly still haunted her. After the hurt it caused Ivy she worked really hard to share. I loved that she was able to connect with Jacob because he needed it. Jacob was so conflicted and I felt like this book did a good job of showing that to me but not drawing it out. These three together were fire and I'm so happy they each brought something special to their relationship and showed love for each other.
I read an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
I will be honest I usually dont read FF books . but I love this author and will read anything from her let me tell you this book was awesome we already know the Characters of Cordelia and Ivy in the books before this one and know they are an established D/S relationship with a little daddy and little thrown in , but this story is about surviving your past in a cult and when Jacob comes into their lives everything Cordelia was trying to forget comes out but this throuple goes through alot Jacob especially had to forget all the crazy things he was taught and start fresh but before that can happen they must get rid of the evil leader of the cult how it happens you must read but have tissues near by . even if you dont read FF books please read this one you wont be disappointed
Cordelia and Ivy have such an excellent relationship. They discuss and mediate as they go along, rather than waiting for an implosion. When Jacob comes along, he gets added to their dynamic almost seamlessly.
Jacob's story was heartrending. He had been raised in a cult, but he had the intestinal fortitude to leave to get help for his more vulnerable sisters. His awakening with Ivy and Cordelia was wonderful to read about. He was questioning, but he found the love and affirmation that he both needed and wanted.
This was such a fantastic story. I enjoyed it so much. I'm looking forward to more books by this author in the Big Daddy Energy series.
Melt for Us, Daddy is the very well written and deliciously kinky last installment of Stella Moore’s Big Daddy Energy series. Steamy, emotional and intense, this highly captivating read is full of angst, trauma and tension - the sexual as well as the emotional kind. But also courage, will and so, so much love, all the while challenging the concept of gender roles - here set in a complex and highly intriguing dynamic, that just keeps developing. And when not at the forefront of the unfolding plot, danger keeps lurking in the background keeping the reader invested and on their toes from start to finish.
OMG this author really puts her throuples through it. Every series that has one they have the most emotional books and this one is no exception. I absolutely loved this book. I have a high, likely unhealthy, level of interest is people that escape cults so this was right up my alley. The relationship building that happened throughout the story was just top notch. Cordelia and Ivy both grew individually and as a couple on top of also bringing Jacob in as a third. And the spice…sooooo good. It was great to see a different BDSM relationship as well. Loved this book from start to finish!!
Stella Moore has brought us a wonderful FFM story with great heart, power and resilience in the main characters. Cordelia is a strong Domme with the love of her life, the sweet Ivy, but there are secrets in Cordelia's background. When the innocent Jacob; a part of Cordelia's past, enters their lives, you just have to melt, I especially loved this man. When the past comes knocking, you will feel Cordelia and Jacob's pain with them. So glad that this throuple have a HEA. What a truly marvellous, well written, heartfelt story. Loved it
I bought this book simply because it was book #4 in a series I really like. I figured going into it it wasn't going to be my cup of tea simply because it was a romance featuring 2 women. That is something I just have no interest in. Jonah seemed a little tacked on to make it interesting. The book was well written and when I hit a physical scene between Cordelia and Ivy I just skipped it.The plot was good, I'm just not into a female couple or submissive man. I'm sure most people into this genre enjoyed it. I liked books 1, 2, 3 and #5 sounds good.
I thought that this book was amazing, and it tells a story that is so much more than you might expect. The characters are complex, and my heart absolutely ached for them as they dealt with both inner struggles and outside threats and complications, raw emotions, and intense feelings and desires. This book inspires a wide spectrum of thoughts, emotions and feels as Cordelia, Ivy and Jacob's story takes you on a roller coaster ride that tugs hard on your heartstrings as it steals your heart.
I have read all the books in this compelling and riveting series and I thought that Dom and the very protective Cordelia and sweet sub Ivy story was told, but I was so wrong. There is so much more and this book is so full of twists and turns as Cordila and Ivy fit Jacob into their lives and hearts. All the characters are complex. And the sexy scenes hot and erotic. I am leaving an honest review. This book is the definition of a page-turner as the reader will not want to miss a word.
4.5 ⭐️ I didn’t know how much I would melt for Cordelia, Ivy, and Jacob. It was such a heartwarming story and I really fell in love with these characters. The ending really made this whole book special and their journey to get there was filled with ups and downs and realistic communication between all parties. I thought that this really was a sweet story and I’m excited to read the other books in the series since this was the first one for me.
There are books that you expect to have kink and steam in them. And they do! But when a book is truly beautiful as well it is rare and beautiful. This book felt that way for me.
This book was ok, however I really thought it was unfair how they both ganged up ,so to speak, on Jacob. Cordelia and Ivy seemed to have more fun than him. Just my opinion.
This story was amazing and I couldn't stop reading. So full of emotions that had me all over the place. Cordelia, Ivy and Jacob fit so well the overprotective, shy, fierce and loyal they fight for each other and it's a beautiful thing to witness.
Fantastic writing keeps you involved and on your toes. I highly recommend.
