Celibacy Support: MM Sports Rom-Com

Rate this book
*For readers who liked 'Boyfriend Material' for its funny, messy characters, and 'Top Secret' for its college dorm room heat.

*****
Teagan “Tea” Bray is done falling in love with every guy who makes eye contact with him. So he and his roommate make a pact. For an entire semester, they will help each other remain celibate.

Too bad Tea’s roommate breaks it before the semester even begins; and without telling Tea, moves in with his new boyfriend forcing the boyfriend’s roommate to move in with Tea.

But that’s okay because Tea’s forced roommate, Rylan Dent, agrees to become Tea’s new celibacy support making it his mission to ensure that Tea will never have sex again.

Would Rylan be the best person for the job considering he is a ripped, dimpled, football player who a crazy Farmer’s Market vendor predicted would be the love of Tea’s life?

Or because Tea — who has the willpower of a chihuahua with a taco fetish — is willing to use every wild idea he can come up with to break his pact with Rylan under his knitted sheets?

…Or because Rylan’s straight?

Who could know for sure?

Because anything could happen in this laugh-out-loud, ‘forced proximity,’ MM romantic comedy packed with humor, sexy bad decisions, and a big-hearted HEA ending.

Umm

This was… something lol. Confusing but entertaining. There was a lot going on to be honest. Both of their personalities were not my cup of tea but it was alright.

The MC is insufferable and yet you still find yourself rooting for him. His internal monologue is hilariously conceited and absurd, but he’s got a chip on his shoulder like anyone else. The book is riddled with typos a good editor could easily clean up but somehow it didn’t detract from enjoying this ridiculous story.

Tea

If I met a person like Tea I would likely turn around and walk away. For sure the word bitch comes to mind. Be aware if you choose to read this book you will be dealing with a person that some would find very difficult to be around. There is lots of humor, but it really isn’t my type.

I don’t think I’ve ever given a 1 star rating. But I have never wanted a main character to end up sad and alone as much as I wanted Tea to end up sad and alone. Like he was completely awful. I almost DNFed this book but I stuck with it in hopes he would end up turning his life around, work on himself, get better. He sucked. Whole book.. Just. No.

ummmm

I don’t even know where to begin with this book. I wanted to love it but just found myself confused about what was happening and the dialogue hard to follow. And the relationship was bizarre and the ending was as ridiculous as the rest. I’m still trying to figure out what I just read. It was almost a DNF for me

Um wow. So I liked this book at first, I thought the MC was funny. But as the book went on, it went from funny to just unhinged. Like I couldn't understand many of his thought processes. I've also never read a book that has the love interest only in the book for like 20% of the story and yet somehow falls in love with the MC. Just not for me...

I’m a sucker for a quirky main character but man, what started out as quirky quickly devolved into to selfish, delusional, and just cringy. Like I really hated Tea for most of the book. Honestly, I kinda of hated the book for most of the book. There were funny parts and some endearing moments but outside of those few bright spots, this book was just all over the place. Almost a DNF.

DNF at 48%. Shame really as the blurb seemed good but I just couldn’t get on with this one. Go me Tea was unlikeable and I couldn’t get to grips with how it was written.
